No. Just no! Horrible ice cream. I don't understand how these other reviews are high. Ordering went well, quick and easy. The scooper girl was frazzled and couldn't dish up a decent looking scoop. Very sloppy, pieced together, unpleasant looking presentation. The taste of the ice cream is overwhelmingly sweet, no pronounced flavor/s coming through. And the sweetness is odd, heavy and artificial tasting. Ugh and the waffle cup and the waffle cone were thick, tasteless, hard and stale. Such a waste of money and calories! Save your money and go to Thrifty's for a reliable and always delicious scoop. Can not recommend and will not be returning. read more

Went yesterday for there 21 anniversary event at around 9:20 me and my boyfriend got an ice cream and people showed up about 10 minutes before they close and they served them no problem it was about 2 minutes before closing my boyfriend wanted another ice cream I had walked to the window while the girl was about to close it and asked if they can take one more order she rolled her eyes with an attitude staring " sure " I told her I wanted a waffle BOWL and just one scoop of strawberry ice cream simple. I had began my apology since the order was last minute and she rudely cut me off saying it's fine. When I got my ice cream she put it in a waffle CONE.. not what I asked for. Not sure what her name was but she was short chubby pale and had nose piercings was wearing a black shirt with blondeish hair. Rude and bad customer service they need to hire better people instead of these young kids with bad attitudes. If you guys were closing 2 minutes before you officially close and didn't want to make my ice cream she could have simply said no instead of getting an attitude with me. Tried this place out for the first time! It was good nothing to write home about not sure what the long line is about. it's definitely nice to have an ice cream place with many options. This ice cream chain is essentially Handel's ice cream's fierce rival. I ordered a small waffle cone with Graham Central station and orange sherbet. The Graham Central flavor was an instant hit with me, while the orange sherbet was good if a little too sweet. The cone was also served in a plastic holder that prevents melted ice cream from dirtying my hand. My server was very patient and let me try 5 different flavors before settling. I just left this place lesson one was always ask for a receipt. I ordered a small chocolate milkshake and a small toffee milkshake and two scoops in a cup of NY cheesecake Ice cream and Banana pudding Ice cream. So while I am waiting I look in the bag and see that they gave me the Berry Cheesecake Ice cream so I walk up to the window and this husky guy in a tie dye shirt and a a visor cap on sees me and just walks away ignores me completely so I move to the side as to not get in the way but tie dye guy and an older woman just keep ignoring me. The young guy that took my order had to come over so I let him know my order was wrong and he apologized and said let me get this fixed for you. He knows my order was wrong because he took my order. So he approaches tie dye shirt guy and tells him its wrong and the older lady thats nearby just turns and looks at me so here are two people that are being told there was a mix up and they look so perplexed instead of oh we gave you the order wrong let us fix it they look at us like we are trying to get something for free! I gave them the cup with the ice cream! So tie dye shirt guy comes up and asks would you like me to just put a scoop of the NY cheesecake Ice cream in a cup for you? I said sure but please add a scoop of the banana ice cream because I paid for two scoops!!! I have no idea what anyones problem was and the older lady just kept looking and me and my daughter with this weird look on her face. Now as a business owner if I make a mistake I correct it these people just couldn't fathom that a mistake was made and I had the audacity to make them fix it. Worst customer service ever!!!! The service is friendly, but kind of disorganized. Haven't really had any ice cream that blew me away. The worst part to me is that they didn't plan any kind of seating within their layout. The entire shop, and they're stuck with a couple service windows. You're left either standing around eating next to cars or taking the ice cream to go. It's a pain in the a__ navigating a small full parking lot, just to stand around to eat the ice cream. We love this place. Went twice in one week from our initial visit. The chocolate brownie and chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream are to DIE for. I looooooove how much brownie and pb cups come inside the scoops they definitely do not skimp on the mix ins. The service is also incredible. I've gotten helped by two separate ladies and both were so patient and nice while we as a family made our decisions. My husband got a frozen pink lemonade freeze to drink and loved it and my three year old is hooked on the orange sherbet which to my surprise was actually also really delicious. Shocked, there was still a line at 9:30 on a Monday, but I know I understand the hype. They have a lot of different choices and seasonal flavors as well. I got the small scoop for about 6 bucks, but you get two scoops. I got the butter pecan and horchata. The horchata was ok, but their seasonal butter pecan was good especially since the texture of the pecans really made it stand out. There is no seating and you just go up to the window and order. Overall smooth ice cream and not icy and the flavors are good. Would come again and try other flavors. read more

The place is a small spot with no seating other than the outside patio of the restaurant next door so it's more of a takeout ice cream spot. The staff were all friendly and helpful for first timers, you can also bring a banana for a discount on the banana split which was a unique treat. I got the vanilla blast with Crunch candy in it, but I would still recommend Oreos for the toppings instead. Overall great place just wish it had an area to sit down and enjoy. read more

I've been to this spot about 4 times. Everytime I have gone I have really enjoyed the service , as well as the ice cream! Today I went and was very disappointed!!! The scoops I got were so tiny! Every other time they have always been a decent size. And this time 18$ for 3 tinny scoops I was embarrassed to even say anything. Handles is a great example of what ice cream should taste & feel like in your mouth. Brusters ice cream almost melts immediately, turning into a soup fast 5 minutes in. Nothing screams premium about it. Pricing is also not worth it. I'm a huge banana guy & was very disappointed in their only banana flavor. It almost tastes artificial, I refuse to believe it is actually handmade. Moving forward I'll continue to make the drive over to Downey for quality Handles ice cream. read more

Very friendly lots of samples and suggestions big smiles with no pressure while trying to make a delicious difficult decision. My family and I were at the Whittwood Town Center when we saw a long line in front of the new place and wanted to see what the hubbub was all about: A new ice cream place! We were met by warm, friendly service and really enjoyed our desserts. My pistachio was deliciously nutty and creamy. My son gave the mint chocolate chip two huge thumbs up and my wife said the butter pecan was the best she's ever had. (I ended up returning to get her a pint!). Kids under 40 inches tall are treated to a "baby cone," which is a single scoop of your kid's choice, topped with sprinkles. My 3-year-old ended up with two cones that night and instantly fell in love! We've gone two days in a row and plan to make a few more trips next week! We now have a favorite place! read more
