The dryers took longer than the average of 45 min on high heat to completely dry everything.. The place is beyond hot that you have to go outside because waiting inside is equivalent to a sauna. Good qualities: there is machine that gives you quarters / change and an ATM. They have the giant washers for comforters , bathroom rugs, and such However, parking is also limited.. read more

One of the better wash and fold places I have found over here so far. It's more costly than the others but in this case you do get what you pay for. Even the do it yourself is more. There's a $20 minimum on the wash n fold too so if you don't have much to wash... There's parking in the back. Chairs you can use to sit out front and get sun while reading or people watching as they walk and shop on Main. It's pretty small and might get full but I haven't had a problem with this so far. Filthy, feculent, with indifferent customer service. The place was disgusting. Floor and folding tables were covered with filth. Two out of three machines I used were broken. The attendant Avacay would not interrupt her personal cell phone call to help me, and refused to refund my money. A disheveled homeless woman apparently has an arrangement with management to fold customers' clothes in exchange for residing there. She was pushy. When my bill became stuck in the change machine, I was told "caveat emptor." Avoid. read more

My review is of the coin machine: Great coin machine! Located right by the front door so I can slip in and grab some change and slip out without being noticed. I like how there are 2 of them side-by-side; because I am always being slick I put one dollar in with my left hand, and another dollar in with my right hand and I can go twice as fast. The best part is that they are nice and high, I hate the ones where u have to bend down low to get the change. Also; these have a metal cover protecting the change. This may not seem like a big deal to you; but when that change comes rocketing out and it flies out of the cup and spills onto the ground and rolls around and goes under a machine, you will hate your life having to search for those quarters on your hands and knees. Plus if your trying to go unnoticed; you will totally blow your cover. Also, the wash and fold service is great! read more

For wash and fold only: I love the wonderful women at Bubble Beach. I've been going for about a year and can be pretty particular about how my things are washed--they have been so patient and accommodating with me and always deliver my clothes back in great condition. My one caveat is that a few items (over 12 months) have gone missing--a towel, a sock here or there, but honestly this is to be expected with the volume of customers they have. read more

There's nothing I hate more than having to pay to do something that I didn't really want to do in the first place. That being said, most of my experiences at Bubble Beach have been fine. No one has ever stolen my clothes, and the people there are cool about refunding your money if a machine eats your quarters. I'd advise that you don't go on the weekend... it gets crowded and there's no real sense of order. And they just jacked up their prices, which is disappointing. read more

I can't speak to the self-service area, but I can say that using the wash and fold service is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I typically do my own laundry, but I'm only in the area for this summer, and since I work during the week, I just wasn't able to bring myself to spend hours doing laundry instead of exploring this amazing city. I used a $10 off coupon and washed 23 lbs of laundry (sheets, towels, bath robe, workout clothes...) for a total of $25. They were all very nicely folded and packaged, and they smelled fantastic. Main Street is RIGHT THERE - please go outside and enjoy the sunshine, have some gelato - fall in love. I don't know. Small and poorly managed. Several machines are broken and you have to compete with the laundry that people have dropped off, which the employee is doing. Every machine today was taken or broken or dirty, so I left and went elsewhere. It's not cheap either. The cheapest machines are $3.50 a load. One of the change machines doesn't work well and the other one has been broken the entire time I've been coming here (a month or two). There is limited parking in the back. read more

Im in town for a month from the UK and have never used one of these services before. I was confused about which one to try as there are many in the area with varying reviews. I thought this place was excellent! They have: Change machines Detergent available to buy-good brands like tide too! Water tank and cups Free Wifi Chargeable stations for laptops and wifi Seating area with tables and chairs Machines were very new and up to date, and looked and smelt clean. They have a variety of sizes and have super speedy dryers. I had 10 days washing to do for me and my Husband (a huge amount!) but was able to get it all washed and dried in 27min wash and 30min dry after. Much quicker than i thought it would take. If you're too lazy to do it yourself you can drop off and collect. Awesome place to do laundry! read more

There were plenty of open machines, $2.25 for regular wash and $0.25 per 10 minutes on the driers. I have been going to bubbles laundry for about a month now and I can say this is a great place. The people are nice my clothes come back nice and clean no spots smells great. I would do my laundry regularly and had no problems. I decided to use their drop off service and I will never do it again, if you value your clothes don't leave them here. Staff was friendly until some of my clothes were missing. I am still getting the run around . The mysterious manager named CED has never returned my calls even though I left my name nd number with staff 3x. I've lost over 100. Dollars in clothing and have yet to get any satisfaction. I'm tired of calling. So if you value your clothes they might get lost and they will not do anything about it. read more

Staff here Is always nice and they keep the areas clean. As far as the things they can't control, more and more transient people coming in and makes me question how sanitary the washer and dryers are when I leave. The past two times one of their parking spots has been occupied with a homeless persons belongs while they are inside doing laundry (leaving no open parking spaces). I notice the price of the small washers constantly changing from 1.50 to 2.50 and the dryers are inconsistent either not drying my clothes or leaving burn marks on my white bedding. I was traveling in from out of town and needed same day wash and fold service. The staff was helpful in meeting my needs and had it done in about five hours. The clothes were properly cleaned, reasonably wrinkle free and nicely folded. $30 minimum for same day which is a little steep, but still cheaper than the hotel and better than being smelly as I didn't have time to do it myself! read more

First time I've ever done wash & fold service - certainly won't be the last. Very happy with pricing and with how my clothes came out!!! They even separated out 2 pieces to be dry cleaned that I hadn't specified - those items look better now than when I wore them before Bubble Beach cleaned them! Next-day service is a quick 24-hour-or-less turnaround. Took my clothes in around noon, and pick up time was the following day at 11am. There was also available, free off-street parking behind the building both times I went. All around, score! read more

Laundromat attendant is a complete jerk! When I told her that the washing machine I was using was not working, she did not want to reimburse me for the detergent I purchased from her. She said that it wasn't her fault....COME ON! The machine did not have an "out of order" sign!!!! I did not want to make it a huge deal out of it, but this is clearly not how you treat your customers. No customer service whatsoever. Not returning to this place again. read more

Good location but that's about it. A lot of machines were broken, floor was really dirty. As if that weren't bad enough, 3 of my shirts got stuck in the dryer door somehow while it was running and put holes and black marks all over them. When I showed the employee what happened she was pretty rude and completely unapologetic about ruining my clothes and said it looked like I had a pen in there and that's what caused the black marks. Seriously? So she called the manager and I explained what happened - he said he would send me a check for $50. Still haven't gotten that check. Bottom line - don't do your laundry here. read more

Was travelling from New York and needed to get my laundry done. Dropped off my laundry hassle free, picked it up the next day. The lady at front desk (sadly forgot to ask for her name) even helped is separate our wash from those that can go in the dryer and those that need to be air dried. Laundromat was pretty great! Not huge, but has a good amount of both washers & dryers. There's an ATM & change machine so it's pretty convenient. Very central for people who live close to Main St. Parking lot isn't huge though. read more
