I can't think of anything bad to say about this place, Bubby's is awesome! Long lines out the door, that will give you a clue onto what you are about to experience. While we're on that topic, the comments are true when it comes to chaotic. It's wild in there. Filled with laughter and chattering roars all across the place. People have come to live life to the fullest here at Bubby's. You couldn't hear a complaint even if it was on a loud phone. It's wild in here. But I like it! Thankfully I didn't have to wait that long since we were a party of 4 including my daughter. We were seated with in 2 minutes. Then again I noticed there were tons of party of 2s waiting so it was nice to get in quick. At first she mentioned no strollers inside since it is a very tight fit, but once the hostess realized my stroller folds (shoutout to Doona) she said not a problem that can come with us. Which if anyone knows that stroller is not cheap, sorry there's not a chance in hell I'm leaving that thing outside. Once we were seated with the high chair for my baby, it was time to scope out that menu. Right off the bat I already knew what I wanted, so once everyone figured everything out it was time to order. Fried chicken and pancakes, with a side of biscuits, pancake flight to share, Bubby's breakfast, and last the biscuits and hatch chili sausage gravy. Yeah that was a heap load of food but we managed to share! Also need to mention service here is outstanding. Did not feel rushed, was told we can take our time. Once we ordered the food, it all arrived within 15-20 minutes. They move quick here. So bravo! Chicken and pancakes so good. The chicken was so fresh, you could taste how clean it was. I was excited to try this place out as I have heard great things about it. Came here on a holiday weekend which is the way to go as it was not as crowded as it probably usually is on a normal weekend. I waited on line for an outdoor table as that seemed shorter. There are two lines outside one for inside and one for outside. I am glad we sat outside because I went inside to the rest room and it was a bit chaotic and loud in there. The lines outside too did get a bit confusing/ chaotic. I know this place is known for their pancakes. I had ordered them with strawberries and blueberries on top. To me they were a bit dry. I forgot to ask for butter. I put syrup on it too. I had a side of scrambled eggs ($11.00 for a side!) I also tried the Lavender Mimosa.. very very strong taste of lavender. And they have only reg hot coffee or cold brew no fancy coffee drinks. My friend had the Huevos rancheros and some Non alchi drink. Her meal looked very good. They don't do reservations on weekends, and once I got there, they promised it would be a 30 min wait for a table of 2. It ended up being only about 15 minutes for a table indoors, which turned out well! They have a lot of seating outdoors, but I think I'd only sit out there if they had heaters. Indoor seating is extremely cozy and close to others. Expect it to be pretty loud, and you'll definitely hear your neighbors' conversations, but it wasn't a terrible experience. The waiter comes quick, as well as the food. The pancake is thick and pairs well with the maple syrup. The sausage is sweet and the egg was cooked to my asking. For $33 after tax and tip, this dish (inclusive of one pancake, egg, and sausage) was extremely lacking. Nothing special about the taste whatsoever, and I've definitely had much better brunch elsewhere for much cheaper. I didn't do much research prior to my visit, but the menu didn't have anything super exciting for me to be attracted to, so I'm not sure what the hype is for this place.
