Dined 7.17.25: Had no idea food was served family style. Basic meals feed 4-5 people. And if you Bucca Size the meals they can feed 6-10 based on appetite. That was a nice surprise & glad we learned portions prior to ordering. Service was good and food appeared mainly fresh to order. We had Baked Rigatoni & a Caesar salad & we had plenty to eat there & left overs for the both of us. They offered a simple & small get to the point menu which I can appreciate w/ the option of really super sizing the meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super interesting variety of art...come see it for yourself![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Come hungry! Big portions and great family style eats. Service was very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I saw a big prom party come in. They seemed excited to be here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Calamari was very good. Excellent chicken Parm.

Went to buca for my nieces birthday dinner. We had a reservation and shown our table quickly. We noticed that it was pretty hot on our area. After mentioning it a couple times a what I imagine was a manager said the people on the roof left the door to get on the roof open. Wouldn't this be something noticeable and able to be corrected quickly? It didn't cool down the entire time we were there. We ordered our food which was pretty good. We got the spaghetti and meat sauce, chicken parm, chicken Marsala, prosciutto stuffed chicken, lasagna, Brussels sprouts and a couple of salads. Everything tasted good but it's not enjoyable eating hot food when you're soo hot. We will be back again but hopefully we won't have this problem!

We had a late afternoon dinner here and it did not disappoint! It has been more than a few years since I had there so we thought WTH let's give it a shot. As it is family style my beautiful wife and I split a Cesar salad and the Quattro Al Forno which our awesome server, Brea, informed us it would actually be a Tres Al Forno because they were out of the chicken cannelloni. They made it up with additional everything else. Everything was really good, rich and hearty. We will definitely keep this in mind next time we are craving pasta.

Good food. Hard part is to choose what to share. Ravoli is really good. Laura was a good server.

It's been a year since my last visit but I've been having a craving. Got my family a pre-thanksgiving meal, ordered the shrimp fra diavolo pasta and the appetizer trio which includes fried mozzarella, spicy shrimp and calamari. Did an online order for pick up, ladies helping with the to-go were friendly and very busy with people coming to pick up their thanksgiving meals. I was there before my pick up time so I did have to wait (I wasn't sure how traffic was gonna be on Bell so I gave myself plenty of time). They made an effort to keep me updated so I didn't think they would forget about me, lol. But sadly, I was disappointed by the shrimp Fra Diavolo, it was barely even spicy. The appetizer trio was disappointing as well. The fried calamari was sooo dry!!! The spicy shrimps were overcooked and rubbery. The only thing good was the fried mozzarella with marinara sauce. This all came to almost $80. Was definitely not worth that at all. Not sure I'll be back to visit again.

You know... sometimes bigger ain't better. I had family in town and they were craving Italian. This stop was near their hotel so we stopped in. The decor is very old school, with burgundy red booths. It's gives a very old timey feel so we had high hopes. Our server Laura was a doll, she was professional, polite and explained the menu to us. My review is strictly about the food. Her service was great. We ordered a ton of food and it LOOKED good... my cousins order pepperoni pizza, the appetizer sampler, a chicken dish and I got ravioli with meat sauce.. a TON of food. I'll admit we didn't listen to Laura when she said the smalls fed 3-5 people. We ordered more food to go but ended up canceling it. The ravioli with meat sauce tasted like chef boyardee. Bland! So very bland. The pizza had a good flavor but was floppy, greasy and not appetizing. The sampler with spicy shrimp, mozzarella moons and calamari was bland as well. But the spicy shrimp were so hot! But not in a good way. You got hit with a burst of heat but no actual flavor. My cousins chicken dish.... Looked like raw chicken cutlets, it was literally just white pieces of chicken. Nothing had flavor. We had to order sides or marinara and Alfredo to jazz things up and it was still a bust! We barely wanted to bring the food home, but I hate being wasteful. Huge portions, no flavor.

Went to dinner with family from out of town. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Firstly I understand this is a family restaurant but the table a few rows back the kid was screaming at the top of his lungs our entire meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was so bad people in our section were asking to move.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once seated house bread was never given/offered to us. Eventually when the food came out we asked the server if we could have house bread. We ordered the family size lasagna to share which came out cold with little to no sauce as the dish was very dry with no flavor. Our drinks sat empty for 15 minutes. Overall a bad experience. This use to be one of my favorite places but with service like this I might not return.

We showed up without reservations, and they found us a table, but I recommend reserving ahead of time. We took the waitress's recommendation on the pasta. It was outstanding. We ordered: Gli Antipasti | Appetizers - BURRATA with ROASTED COMPARI TOMATOES - Burrata + pomodori Campari arrostiti + pesto + Olio EVO (Burrata imported from Italy roasted in wood-fired oven along with tomatoes + basil + EVOO.) Pesto is made with pistachios. Absolutely delicious - POLPETTE DELLA NONNA - Meatballs made with Nonna's (grandma's) recipe. Also very good! Pizzas - DIAVOLA - San Marzano pomodoro + mozzarella + salame piccante + Olio EVO (San Marzano tomato sauce + mozzarella + spicy salami + EVOO). Son said their pizza was amazing. Wood fired. Handmade Pasta - RAVIOLI AL BRASATO x2 - Con crema burro e salvia (Braised short-rib ravioli with a buttercream sage sauce) a subtle herbed rich cream sauce over fresh pasta filled with braised short rib. Great flavor and filling. I could tell the pasta was Housemade on taste. Le Insalate | Salads - PERA | PEAR - Rucola + pere + pomodorini + mandorle tostate vinaigrette al limone (Arugula + pears + cherry tomatoes + toasted almonds + shaved parmesan + lemon vinaigrette. It came with grilled ciabatta, arugula, shaved red onion, and a Calabrian vinaigrette. The burrata was incredibly creamy and paired perfectly with the tomatoes, while the crunchy ciabatta added a wonderful contrast in texture. My husband chose the Sicilian meatballs, which were served over creamy polenta with rustic marinara and grana padano, also a very solid dish. For our entrees, we had the hot honey & smoked prosciutto pizza and the strozzapreti, a pasta dish with herb-roasted chicken, mushroom, spinach, parmesan cream, truffle, and pine nuts). Both were fantastic! The pizza nailed that sweet and savory flavor profile, and the crust was absolutely perfect. The strozzapreti was also delicious -- rich, creamy, and packed with mushroom and truffle flavor. Last time we visited the North Italia Phoenix location, the pasta was a bit too soft and lacked that proper al dente bite, but this time it was cooked flawlessly. Unfortunately, the desserts were a letdown. We tried the hazelnut torta and the tiramisu, but both were overwhelmingly sweet. The tiramisu tasted soggy, like it had been sitting in the fridge for a long time instead of being freshly made, and the chocolate balls on top felt unnecessary and cheapened the dish. The service was also a bit of a mixed bag. Somehow our desserts were brought out before we had even finished our entrees. As a result, the ice cream on top of the hazelnut torta just sat there melting by the time we were ready for it. It made the end of the meal feel rushed, like they were trying to turn the table over quickly.

We had the soup (tomato basil) and summer salad special which were both great. Onto the entrees, the lasagne bolognese and the eggplant parm with ravioli instead of the sautéed spinach as recommended by Sal. Both were so DELICIOUS. The eggplant parm was light and flavorful which the lasagne was dense but packed with so much goodness. It was a lot of food so we had to take most to go, which will be another 2-4 meals for us.
