I, too, always loved the food at BW3 (before they altered their name), so I was excited they finally made it to the area. As with so many chain restaurants, they have made the mistake of only building one location, and placing it in the East end of town, as if they never actually experienced the traffic on Market Street or 30. I complained to them with no response. That said, my first experience there was OK. It was relatively crowded, but to be expected because York Countians always flock to new chain places. We had a party of 8, but got seated fairly quick. Service was decent, not too long of a wait for food. As already noted, the sound of all the different events on TV, combined with music, is a sensory overload, and it is loud!! We asked them to turn the speakers down a bit, but they said management and corporate frown on that. Funny, I never noticed that problem at other locations in OH or IN. I can't say I remember the temperature being a problem. A few weeks ago, we went there again after 8:30 on a Saturday night. There Was maybe one other party waiting for a table. There were 6 in our party, and they told us it would be an hour or more for a table. I asked why, and they told me there was some fight on TV and people weren't leaving. I told them to tell people to go home and watch the fought, it's a restaurant, not a living room. Funny though, I saw a few empty tables that we could gave been seated at. I didn't even want to give this place one star. Horrible service, food was even worse. Ordered two beers for me and my boyfriend..waited and waited and waited for the waitress to finally take our food order. We both ordered a pepperjack steak wrap and each ordered a side of snack size wings. I ordered Parmesan garlic and he ordered the Asian zing. Took a while to get our food and we took one bite of the wrap and all we could taste was SALT. SO MUCH SALT.it was disgusting. First of let me start by saying why would you send the adult food out 15 min befor the kids then. If you order nachos why put the cheese and queso under chips. Or loaded tater tots why would you ever put the cheese under an I supposed to eat if after I finish everything else. 1 year ago this place wasn't so bad. Now when we go, they won't even turn a sporting event on the tv you ask them to. 1 weekend the UFC was held in Russia and was on early. I asked them if they would turn it on and the manager lied to me saying that they haven't worked anything out with ESPN plus yet and couldn't put it on. How do I know he lied? I was in there 2 weeks prior to this one watching a UFC on ESPN plus. Something similar happened again on another weekend. Today we wen't back and I asked them to turn on the playoff game between the Bill vs. Texans and they didn't turn it on. When the waitress came back, my wife asked her if she forgot and the waitress said no. She talked to the manager and they were dealing with another issue. They would put it on when finished. Half an hour later, I asked again and she gave me another run around. Never in my life have I gone to a sports bar and not had a sporting event turned on a tv we were watching. The place had like 10 people in there with 60 tv's. For the life of me I'll never understand it. On top of all of this, the wings were dry this time with very little sauce on them. This is a typical BWW. The prices are pretty high for what you get but if you have ever been to one before, you know what to expect. One thing that disturbed me about this visit is that the kitchen staff don't seem to know how to count wings. Somehow 15 wings translates to 12. That said, hey....if you like Beer, Wings and Big Screens everywhere to watch the games, then this is your place. Service needs improvement but it's new and likely still working out the kinks. Been here few times and seems to be slowly progressing. I get what I need regardless even if I have to get up (they hate that btw..:-). I have never had a bad experience at any BWWs. It's a great atmosphere if you like sports and if you don't they have great wings. My favorite flavor a are the Spicy Garlic, Hot BBQ and Parm Garlic. I was with a. Group and we went for Boneless wing night, boneless aren't my favorite but I can manage. The 5 of us are for under 30 dollars, so it was definitely worth it the trip. Play the trivia game for something to do for fun. read more

Worst place ever. thought we would try it out since there was no wait. and apples bees and texas road house had a 90 min wait list. and now i wish we would have just waited..... we waited 20 mins before the server even came to take our drink order. then she kept letting out drinks go empty, she only had 3 tables an still forgot things. it was not busy at all on a Sunday night at 6:30. Our total came to 90$ for a family of 5. we could have went to a better place if we wanted to spend almost 100$ on a meal. we dont even spend that much at texas road house. we was not expecting that since 3 of our party was kids. and we had no appetizers or alcohol. with in 30 mins of getting home all the kids had to go to the bath room it was like a ticking time bomb. This was our (hubby & I) 1st time visiting this chain. Based on last night's visit, it will be our last. We tried it, didn't like it so on to the next one.... Our server Ashley, was nice and did her job very well. She had no problems accepting our requests, especially when I asked to turn down the temperature. It was so cold in our area, with the vents flowing directly towards our table. Other than her service and the Buzztime trivia game, the food ruined our experience. Honestly, I've had better tasting wings from Rutters. The worst Spinach Artichoke dip I've ever eaten. Received a gift card for BWW, so we went on 2 different occassions to this location. First was for dinner with my wife & I, and it was okay. The food was pretty basic (wings, of course, along with burgers and salads and some pretty basic options). We had a salad along with a burger - both were fine, but nothing that was so good we just had to come back. Had to go back because we still had money left on the gift card, and on the 2nd visit it was just me for some wings. They had a special on boneless wings, and had some with a spicy garlic sauce, and some with a thai curry sauce. Both had decent flavors to them, and a medium kick in the spice level. But again - nothing so good that I am anxious to get back to them. The service on both visits was fine - the service team took care of us. Very poor experience. Had gotten a gift card and decided to give this place a try again. Service was okay but the kitchen just ignored the removal of cheese from my girlfriends salad. It wasn't just a suggestion she has a dairy allergy. She even started feeling sick. Saw our waitress telling the kitchen staff as they were going out for their "break" and they just laughed like it was no big deal. Sign right at kitchen entrance clearly states common allergens and they ignore their own standards. Will never be back. Eight of us went here for the football game and unfortunately we were very disappointed, it took over an hour for our orders to even be taken alcoholic drinks took forever and it one point or forgotten about, the rap that one of us ordered was not in fact very cold and the macaroni and cheese and noodles were not fully cooked the burger that I received was over powered by the huge amount of mustard that was literally just tossed on there very Messy and disgusting I had ordered an appetizer of fries with bacon and cheese and instead received as my fries with my burger which was not what I wanted but I still dealt with it none of our burgers were warm we expected hot or at least warm they weren't even warm they were in fact kind a cool like they've been sitting there for a long amount of time. We literally had to tell someone that if they could put on the game because they didn't even put it on any of the TVs which was resolved fairly quickly but overall we had very disappointing experience. I feel bad for the reviewers who had long waits; they must have hit the place during peak times or something. I've been there about ten times now and every time it isn't that bad. The wings are excellent! They have quite a lot of flavor choices. I also like how they will bring the sauces out for you to try them first. However, gotta be careful though - you just dip a fry in to test it. I found out the hard way that's a bad way to test it. I like hot so I tested the manga habanero and it seemed actually pretty tame. However after actually eating four wings covered in the sauce, I felt like I was going to die haha. Taste great but WHOOO man it was hot! I'm really surprised milk is not an option on the menu. Thursdays is great if you like boneless wings. I got sixteen wings (on Thu you can break the diff flavors by sets of 4 instead of 6) and it only cost me ~$10. The only reason I docked the rating one star was because of the noise. My God it's noisy in there. I've started sitting outside rather than in the main dining area because of that. I know it's themed to the sports crowd, but it would be -very- nice if management added a smaller dining room partitioned off from the sports fans. It's a tad annoying to try to enjoy the heavenly wings when you have a few tables of people yelling when a goal is made and banging the tables. I'd happily pay a surcharge if I could get a quiet seating area lol. One of these days I need to try a few other options on the menu. The worst experience ever! This place has the worst customer service that you can imagine. My girlfriend and I went there to watch the ufc fight. There was no sound throughout the entire fight due to some technical issues. We had to find out on our own about the issue by asking the manager. However, the manager did not apologies nor did he give us any discount about the inconvenience. You would expect a manager would try to do something to correct the issue and to make the customers happy. However, customer service is not high on the priority list at this place. Also, this place has the tendency to add extra things on your bill, even though you didnt order the drink or the beer. The table next to us was having the same problem by adding extra charges on the their bill. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

The ongoing terrible services seems to be the primary theme of an experience at Buffalo Wild Wings in York. In this review, I'd like to leave a comment on the food, but seeing how we never actually received any, that's impossible. Sit back and let me tell you about this... My son and I were there on a Thursday evening, having arrived around 5:30 and were seated pretty much immediately. That was where it all started to go downhill. It took nearly 15 minutes for the server to approach our table. By then, we had already decided what we wanted to order, but somehow this surprised our server, and he scrambled to take our order. Then, we waited. And waited. And waited. While we were waiting, I notice that there were many tables of people who were also waiting for their food. And waiting. And waiting. However, it wasn't just ANY waiting...we had the experience of entertainment while waiting. 1. The music. The music so loud that I couldn't hear my adult son across the table. Half the time, I wasn't sure what song was playing because apparently everyone in the huge room were attempting to talk over the music. There's very little barriers for sound, so the noise is intense. (Here's a clue management--turn down the music so people can hear each other.) 2. The temperature of the room. I've been in saunas that weren't that warm. It's November, not the middle of a snowstorm in January. Although I was wearing a long sleeve T-shirt, I pulled up my sleeves. Others at surrounding tables were doing the same. (Here's a clue, management--turn down the heat. Your servers won't be sweating their asses off and your customers won't either. All those people mean increased body heat.) 3. The fire alarm. Did I mention that the fire alarm went off? Yes, alarm, blinking light, the whole thing. To alleviate any fears, someone (not sure who) came on the loud speaker and announced that it was he THOUGHT it was a false alarm, and not to be concerned, that they would keep us updated. Eventually, the alarm stopped, and soon thereafter, the flashing fire alarm light. Oddly enough the fire department never showed up and NO ONE began to move out when the alarm went off. 4. The unsatisfied, HUNGRY customers, leaving in droves. While we were waiting, THREE different tables of people (who didn't have any food) actually got up and left. No clue how long they'd been there. And now, our wait. Right after the server left after taking our order, my daughter sent me a text, so I used the time I received her text to measure how long it took to get our order. After 40 minutes (and several times the server promising us he'd "look into what was taking so long"), someone came to check on us. I told her we'd been waiting 40 minutes. She promised to check on our order. After 50 minutes the manager came to our table. He promised to check on our order. After 60 minutes, we put on our coats and got up from our table and caught the server on our way out. He offered to have the manager comp our meals (what meals???), but at this point, we were hungry, half deaf, and tired of waiting for the promise of food. As we were leaving, the wait at the door for a table had significantly increased. (Gee, with all the people leaving without food, I'm not sure why they couldn't seat the new arrivals.) Do yourself a favor, and skip this place. read more

The fries were cold, the bread for my chicken sandwich was stale. There is nothing special about the food at this place, and you pay a huge premium. Even worse is the fact that this company sees fit to infringe on our constitutional rights by having a large sign on their door saying firearms are not allowed. Been here 4 times already, and will definitely comes back. They have happy hours from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The Wings was pretty good, so far my favorite sauce is the mango habanero sauce and my husband always stick to the blazin sauce, which is their hottest and spiciest sauce. Visited restaurant Sunday June 16th around 4:30. The place wasn't busy at all. Might of had 7 full tables at the most. Ordered a large order of boneless wings and my wife ordered a salad. The wings weren't even hot when they were brought out. 60% of them were very hard like they reheated ones they had sitting around and dipped them in sauce. 60% of them were like chewing on shoe leather. My jaws literally got tired from chewing on them! Wife salad was good but how can you mess a salad up. The greens looked fresh. That will be the last time I set foot in the east York restaurant. Went in on a Saturday night to watch basketball with my brother. Saturday night 9:45pm, March madness elite 8 game only 3 people in the entire place, my brother thought it was closed then. Should have seen the signs and ran for the hills, bar service was average at best, bartender was polite she gets the star. My two beers were followed by a burger so raw it was still mooing. I was unfortunately enough to realize until after eating most of it. Take my advice drive 10 more minutes to the west end BWW, still average food but at least the food is cooked and place is filed. You would think that a place with "wings" in the name would have superb wings, but I wouldn't even consider their wings decent. They shorted us a total of 3 wings on the first visit and 5 on the 2nd. Wrong dressings, no blue cheese/celery delivered, just a total mess. I should have noticed that the place is not busy on a Friday or Saturday night while all other restaurants have a 1 1/2 hour wait. Based on these Yelp reviews and my experience, I would probably wait a while to see if they change out management to people that know how to manage a restaurant.
