Blown away by their buns! So soft, fluffy, and ripe. Normally you just want to get to the fillings but with these the dough is definitely the star. Don't get me wrong, the fillings were amazing as well - both sweet and savory. I particularly like the Rex's Cut and the Huapia Hustler but honestly you can't go wrong. Super fresh and great size. Will definitely be back. They do sell out fast so go early.

YUM. Finally made it over here to try this new food cart in the neighborhood. I've had malasadas at Leonard's in Hawaii before, so I wanted to see how these compared. I thought Bun Bandits are better! I got the vanilla and the coconut, both of which were delicious (especially the coconut). I'll definitely be back for those. I also got an assortment of kolaches. I liked the spice of the jalapeno cheddar, but I wish it had ground sausage instead of a link sausage. I also got the (ground) sausage, egg and cheese which was great. Loved the breading of the kolache. Staff were super friendly. My only bit of feedback is they should have a sign next to the order window so it's easier to read while ordering.

I was so excited to see Bun Bandits in my neighborhood! This place exceeded expectations that were already pretty high! The Malasadas were so amazing and the fillings were spectacular. The Boss Man is the perfect plain. The Kolache I had was sooooooo good. The gal who took our order was super helpful and nice and patient with us. They have two tables outside the truck and lots of parking! I'm already excited to come back and have some more.

I've been dying for hot, gooey, and sugary malasadas in Portland and Bun Bandits fills that void. I got a regular not filled, and a vanilla malasada and they were delicioussss. Warm and chewy, like the best donut you've ever had. I need to come back for the kolaches and more malasada flavors!

Gotta have these buns! Came here on a Saturday morning around 9am. Waited less than 5 min in line and maybe another 5 min for the buns. The kolaches were a really good size and had a decent amount of filling. The Malasadas were slightly smaller (like donut size) but just as good. I ordered the jalapeño/cheese/sausage kolache and it had great flavor, the sausages were very good and overall it wasn't very spicy. Also ordered the bacon/egg/cheese kolache and it didn't disappoint. The stars of the show were the vanilla bean custard and the Nutella filled malasadas, they were so fresh! The staff was very friendly and you could tell they were having fun in the truck singing along to the music. Would definitely go back!

10000/10. I got them warm and fresh. The filling was so light as well. Definitely coming back to try the whole menu!

While you should expect to wait for your order, like most food carts, food is made as you order it. We were second in line and our order took about 15 minutes. These two ladies, with Hawaii ties, aimed to serve kolaches and "Leonard's" Malasadas to Oregon! They are doing a fantastic job and so far, sell out everyday! Everything was delicious and well worth the wait! Go early and expect to wait. They will sell out! Everyone who was in line this morning placed sizable orders because everything on the board looks (and was) delicious!

Amazing malasada's, super fresh, and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely be back!

The location was easy to find, but as with most places out here, can be a little challenging but doable. The place is big. There's a lot of seating indoor and has an outdoor area with bench seating like back home. Already hitting all the positives. The guy at the register is awesome, reminded me of my nephew. He took our order and gave us a buzzer. We sat outside and within minutes our buzzer went off. On the other side of the register is the pickup area. The guy pointed out each entree and repeated what it was. Even though I already knew what the entrees were, I actually appreciated that. It was good customer service. The food was like kanak attak. The portion was humongous. The poke nacho style wonton chips with spicy poke and kalua pig was broke da mout on point! With 3 of us sharing, we couldn't finish it, but made sure we ate all the poke so no left over lol. We also had the meat jun and garlic chicken. They were just as good. Only thing I was not 100 percent happy with was the rice and mac salad. Rice may be fresh but seemed day old to me and the mac salad needed to be thrown out. I did tell the guy. It was starting to have that sour smell. I know they didn't know, but as a local, we know and we have to support each other so everyone stay happy.

The setup is order at the counter and then find a spot to eat. They have a nice covered area outside but it was a bit hot that day so we quickly found a nice table in the restaurant. The food was ready quickly and the portion was epic! We shared an order of poke nachos, a side of Mac salad, spam musubis and a mango mochi square and it was definitely the right choice to share. The poke nachos were unreal. The chips tasted like wonton chips and they gave SO much poke. Delicious. The Mac salad was good as were the spam musubis. We were too full for the mochi after dinner but I worked on it over the next two days and it was so delightful. So moist and chewy, perfect texture. My only knock was how sticky/gross the trash/busing area were. I'm sure that's common with the amount of sauce on each plate but it probably should be cleaned more frequently as it attracts flies. That being said, we will most certainly come back!

But today, I had the time to swing by and fortunately he was open, but SOLD OUT. Fortunately, he had a few things left over. So I said yes to a mix plate. Nolan's Hawaii accent is still thick it made me feel like I was back home on the west side for a second (!!!!thank you!!!!) I met some people outside the food stand, a business man from Hawaii and some California people I mistaken were from Hawaii as well, lol. It was an awesome interaction, from the moment I got there I got greeted by strangers waiting for food, to going up to the window and asking "so what? No more nuttin left?" Nolan's response was "Nah I only get mochicko chicken and kalua, you likem?" Haha that was a definite yes! Won't miss out on home food esp if word of mouth was already out there. So I waited a few minutes for my food, and the box was heavy. Haha it felt like when you would eat at your aunty and uncles house and they pack you the party left overs. I opened my plate lunch and I was greeted by a huge portion of chicken, pork rice and Mac salad. And let me tell you, the Mac salad didn't have so much frills like what you would see in a Portland Hawaii food joint. It was sauced, and seasoned. PERFECT! No need for all the extra add ons. As I started eating, let me say that kalua pork was no joke so moist and easy to eat not even close to dried out. The chicken tasted nice and crispy with just enough marinate and fluff. I haven't found this anywhere in Oregon..until here. Yeah sure there's a poke and katsu bar in the shopping center next door... but I take the random food cart in the parking lot any day over something franchised

You would see that it's going to a motel, you would think to add the silverware. Fortunately, I was able to get silverware from my motel's breakfast room. The lumpia were very good. They were not greasy at all. They are smaller than standard eggrolls, but because they use more meat and less veggies than your standard eggroll, they pack a lot more flavor. Everything inside was seasoned well, and I really enjoyed them. They came with a vinegar based dipping sauce that I liked The "garlic Ponzu" salmon poke? No, not nearly as good. For the price they were charging, it was not a very big portion. Besides that, it just wasn't that good. A good salmon is normally pink to orange. This salmon was barely pink. I couldn't taste the garlic or the Ponzu at all. The veggies were crisp, the rice was a good quality, but there was just no seasoning. The salmon was very bland. I didn't know if it was just because of the seasoning, maybe they used a low quality or a previously, frozen salmon. I love good salmon. This was not good salmon. For the price I paid, not counting the DoorDash fees because those are added in anyway, I just felt I didn't get my moneys worth. Next time I'm in the area, I will find another place. Thanks anyway.
