The "Natural" burgers were exceptional: cooked to order, with excellent condiments (including spiced pickle slices). The aioli was very tasty, though it made for a messy burger toward the end. We tried both of the Ghirardelli chocolate shakes. Both were excellent, but we had a slight preference for the Salted Caramel one. However, the fries were a BIG disappointment, though the serving was generous. They were soggy, lacked flavor, and were only warm. I strongly suspect that they'd been sitting under a (not very) heat lamp. We will definitely return for another meal, but won't order the fries. The menu includes other interesting alternatives. While the food was good -the customer service was terrible. There were 6 of us with a large order in a Friday night a 5:50pm. There was only one other couple in the restaurant at the time. They couldn't keep our orders straight-forgot to make 3 of our items and then was frustrated when we showed our receipt to show what was missing. The food all came out at different times so while most people were done eating, the other part of party still hadn't eaten. They kept getting our order mixed up with the other couples that was there. It was quite messy. One of our kids accidentally left their backpack with their phone and wallet in it at the restaurant. We tried calling them at 7:45pm, the phone rang and rang and finally someone answered and yelled WE ARE CLOSED-WE ARE CLOSED. Note-per their business hours posted on the website, they do not close until 9pm.I tried to explain why I was calling -was interrupted and told again they are closed and they hung up on me. Fast forward to today Saturday, I called in again -and tried talking to the person on duty -he didn't have a clue what I was asking and replied I don't know. He wouldn't go and check to see if something was left behind, just kept saying I don't know. We made the trip back into the restaurant, the employee had to make a call but thankfully the backpack was there.. Customer service is equally as important as the quality of the food. There was a nice young lady that greeted me and briefly explained the menu. It's a bit confusing since I thought the burgers came "as is" from the photos of the varied menu items on the wall, but you had to order the toppings such as tomato, lettuce etc. The burger I ordered came with a patty, cheese and onions and I made it a meal with fries and drink. Overall the taste was decent, but the patty kept coming apart, wish they had eating utensils. The caramelized onions was a nice touch, it definitely added flavor and the fries with garlic aioli was my favorite. Buns were super soggy, meat was dry, barely any veggies or sauce, fries were were cold and way over cooked. (We only live 5 min away and the fries were in tin foil and a box). Long story short EXTREMELY overpriced and mediocre burgers. Go to red robin if you want a good burger for a good price in a reasonable amount of time. To answer your question. No our burgers were not cooked as I expected. My wife ordered the 10oz medium well. I originally ordered the 12 oz well done, but after hearing how freakin long it was gonna take i asked if my order could be changed to medium well in an effort to save some time. My wifes 10 oz burger was not medium well. It was actually cold and raw in the middle. Thats gross! She didnt finish it. The guy at the cashier (seemed like he was the owner) got her order wrong, so after waiting about 30-45 min for the food to come out, he argued with my friend about how good his ears are and that insisted she ordered beef. This was my first try of the Burger Addict and I had used Doordash. I tried two of their burgers, tater tots and a shake. Here was my experience: The Addict burger I ordered rare and I got rare, thank you! Overall the burger had a good taste but a touch dry. Maybe they use a 90-10 mix? But I would get it again. The second burger was their Cajun Addict. Ordered rare but got medium to well done. The patty was very dry and I needed a sip of water after each bite. Again, maybe they used a 90-10 mix? The tater tots, well, they were not tater tots but instead shoestring fries and way over cooked, a really dark brown color. They were more like shoestring potato chips. Most of them were not soft but crunchy; a few were soft. They tasted like potato, so that was good. The shake was a vanilla shake ... awesome! You could not use the straw it was so nice and thick. I would definitely get a shake again. One of the best I have had in a while. Ya, their prices are high on many of their items and additions. Now, my two burgers were fairly priced but many of their additions are wow, pricey. $5 for bacon? so $7.31 for a 16 oz shake is a bit, just a bit much. And $11 for a small order of fries? No thank you, even if your "small" is actually pretty big. I would do a $6 order of actual small/medium. The onion rings are so crunchy and not a greasy mess like most places. We shared the brisket mac and cheese and I gotta tell you, I'm not a real mac and cheese person but we should've gotten two forks instead of one. We were fighting for bites. Don't expect it to taste like Kraft or Velveeta mac and cheese; this is quality mac and cheese made once again with quality ingredients. It was cheesy but not overwhelming so that the brisket was spotlighted as the star. There was this smoky sweet punch about it. I'm now a huge fan of THIS mac and cheese. Okay, I saved the best for last...the Brisket burger was fricken outta sight! I didn't even get the sauces and it was FIRE! I can just imagine the sauce combo with every bite. So the bun was if course toasted, the grilled onions added a caramelized onion flavor bomb that, with the meat, just screamed heaven. You can tell that the brisket was slow cooked with love and care. It was smoky, tender and so juicy. The burger had a grilled taste and was neither dry or flavorless. Put all these flavors together and the brisket burger was as powerful as a rainbow after it rains!
