As plan and simple as I can put it.. they make a tasty burger. Not as good as big kahuna burger but I gotta say it is a tasty burger. it's your average neighborhood burger spot just like all the rest, but the food is good. The people that work here are always really friendly and nice. The ambience is really cool,kickback and mellow chill Place. they make all kinds of different things , like chicken teriyaki, Mexican plates , burritos of different meats . burgers and sandwiches. They have some really good breakfast here too. So as I always say if you're in the area, and just want a good burger that's tasty, Come down. Check it out for yourself and post your own review..

Still rocking great service! This morning's get was a breakfast bacon burrito with jalapeños & hash browns (you have to ask for these on every breakfast dish or else you get the default house potatoes). Classic diner style booths & interior takes you back in time. Chairs have been newly and colorfully reupholstered.

BEWARE!! they give refried fries!!! I really like this local restaurant and like supporting small businesses. This is the 3rd time i get home and get very dissatisfied when i see the fries. They are big portion but refried. Ate only couple of fries of the whole bag. They were hard stale and greasy. I had mentioned this to them before and thought they would stop refrying the fries! But NO! Not sure if i will be going back. They also have different cooks all the time and food is made differently each time. I got a chicken wrap that normally has dressing inside. Got home and no dressing. Didnt think I had to ask for it since usually it comes in it already. I was able to deal with that. But was not a fan of throwing a big portion of fries i payed for.

I'm here have a delicious 3 egg with potatoes and sausage and a side of wheat toast , coffee! ! Burger Basket restaurant! In the city of Norwalk,California! The restaurant is very Clean and the Staff are very courteous The Food is always very Amazing I recommend it to everybody!!!

While searching for a local place to get a good breakfast burrito, we came across Burger Basket. Not too far from us, small local business, good reviews, let's check it out. When arriving, there is parking in the rear, and on that small side street. There is no direct parking in front. There is plenty of space for parking. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, reminiscent of a local hangout...It's not top of the line decor, but it's pretty homely. Inside, there are a few tv's so that you have something to entertain yourself while chowing down. There are a few kid's toys there too to try to keep them entertained and not bouncing off the walls. Alcohol is served here, so it goes well with your food when a game is on. The menus are a bit outdated, and is ever changing, so you'd have to check with them for real time prices. I will say that the past few times i've been there...they do not offer the machaca breakfast burritos as of October 2023. We've been coming back because we're loving the sausage breakfast burritos and the sausage breakfast sandwich. Good taste and very filling!!! They also have pretty good chili cheese fries, but the chili does have a good kick to it. I suffer..but in a good way! If you want a quick and tasty bite, and with friendly service from the staff, this is the place to go!

Needed a fast lunch before the day's errands and good ole Burger Basket came through again. The service was excellent and the food was served piping hot and full of flavor. The sausage burrito had a twist: the potatoes were seasoned up with cumin and chili pepper, possibly chorizo, I was not mad at it. Added a new depth of flavor with the melted cheese, sausage and scrambled eggs. The chicken strips w/fries basket was fried up to perfection and seasoned generously. Burger Basket deserves more recognition in Norwalk's food game. I prefer it over Tam's.

Low quality food and OVERPRICED!! 1st time coming here because of the 'good' reviews, figure I'd try it. BIG MISTAKE. I'm never coming back here again! Their shakes are more like a smoothie- blended and they forgot my coke with my order. My sis had to wait 5 extra minutes until they decided to give her the coke, only because the cashier was doing something else.?? I haven't updated my review based on the new management and food quality. My coworker had given this a place a try again recently and found out they had been under new management. Food items prices are a little more than before but the quality of food has definitely improved. Another plus is they now accept credit cards. No extra charge either. I have now tried their chili cheese fries, double cheese burger combo and tuna melt combo. The chilli is fresh and very delicious. The double cheese burger was good and filling. Nice size for the price you pay. I was super turned off by the previous management's tuna melt as it had a boat load of mayo and made it a soggy mess. I never went back after that. I made sure to check with the cook before I ordered the tuna melt and it is much better. They haven't made anything under par in the recent weeks I visited, so I will definitely be back for more :) read more

Nice little spot. I don't remember how I got recommended here but it was worth it. My bf and I went in Friday around 7 and didn't have to wait long for our meals. He ordered a pastrami burger and I got a chicken teriyaki bowl. 2 orders were placed in front of us and we didn't wait longer than 15 mins. Food was fresh and tasty. Will definitely go back to try something else. We both loved our meal choices. Been here before and thought it was just alright but that was many years ago, so decided to give this another try. Overall was more satisfied with our meals this time around. Got the Family Pack for the kids and wifey, which they said was very good. My wife replaced her fries for Fried zucchini's and they were very tasty. I went with the Trio Omelette, since they serve Breakfast all day and I wasn't in the mood for burgers, and I gotta say it was very good. Not too huge and not too small of portions...it was just right and hit the spot. I would recommend this little burger spot to anyone that is in the area looking for a quick bite. read more

People who work here are the friendliest people I've ever met. Their menu is budget friendly, but don't expect anything super delicious(sorry I keeping real). First impression: The restaurant is very clean and the staff is so kind and smiley. They have a lot of foods to choose from and some great deals. Experience: My family and I had chicken/beef teriyaki, regular fries, chili cheese fries, chicken nuggets, and some burgers. The food is delicious, I have absolutely no complaints. The food comes in big portions which is always a plus! The chicken and beef were soft and well-cooked, and the teriyaki sauce was great. The fries are very good but you might want to add some salt or pepper to it. The chili cheese fries were great, the cheese comes freshly grated on top of the hot chili. It's not too salty nor bland, so it's kind of perfect! The chicken nuggets were good, my mom and sister ate all of it in seconds! The burgers were big and filled us up the most! I love everything about this restaurant. Cleanliness is important for me, and I saw that their plates, utensils, etc. were very clean. The staff is nice and the food is good. I would definitely come here again. I was reading previous reviews for this restaurant, and I did not find any bad reviews that I agreed with. I think that those who have had bad experiences with this new management should give the restaurant another try because I did not find one thing to complain about! read more

I'm not from Los Angeles, but I'm here regularly enough. I don't even bother eating burgers where I'm from because most are generic chains. So when I come to LA I try to always have atleast one burger. About 8 years or so a friend of mine, working in Beverly Hills, from Croatia, picked me up from the airport smitten with bringing me to another place, In n out Burgee, and we had a bonding experience over that food. It was actually kind of magical. And since, I always try to give them another "chance" to recreate that magic. But, it's gone. And here I was in Norwalk, on my way to in and out, when I passed this old skool looking Burger Basket. They were close to closing of course, so no one was inside. But they welcomed me in like I was their first guest of the day. And, I gotta say, I ordered the two burgers for 8.88 and, damn, this is whet I've been searching for, for so long. These two burgers were the best burgers I've had in quite sometime. Not like they coated I. Truffle oil and some exotic condiments. But good, fresh, comforting food. And the two staff were very friendly. I can finally kick my LA chain nostalgia and try to try more of these kinds of places. But I'll definitely be back to here. What a burger should be and taste like. read more

Closing at 8pm temporarily. Ive ordered pick up from here during Covid-19 a few times already and they've gotten my order correct and supplied napkins, ketchup and straws every time. Note: thousand island dressing on the side in .50cents extra. They have very reasonable prices for both breakfast and lunch. New owner and the chili cheese fries don't taste the same :( burgers are still good but I won't eat chili cheese fries until this new owner keeps the quality the same. The chili is gross and the cheese feels like your chewing on gum. Employees are the same and always providing great service. DISAPPOINTED THAT THE CHILI CHEESE FRIES DO NOT TASTE THE SAME. It doesn't make sense to remove happy hour entirely without offering any alternative promotions--if anything, I would expect more incentives on a day like this. We ended up leaving without ordering because the experience started off on the wrong foot. Disappointing, especially since this has been a go-to spot for us in the past.
