As plan and simple as I can put it.. they make a tasty burger. Not as good as big kahuna burger but I gotta say it is a tasty burger. it's your average neighborhood burger spot just like all the rest, but the food is good. The people that work here are always really friendly and nice. The ambience is really cool,kickback and mellow chill Place. they make all kinds of different things , like chicken teriyaki, Mexican plates , burritos of different meats . burgers and sandwiches. They have some really good breakfast here too. So as I always say if you're in the area, and just want a good burger that's tasty, Come down. Check it out for yourself and post your own review..

Still rocking great service! This morning's get was a breakfast bacon burrito with jalapeños & hash browns (you have to ask for these on every breakfast dish or else you get the default house potatoes). Classic diner style booths & interior takes you back in time. Chairs have been newly and colorfully reupholstered.

BEWARE!! they give refried fries!!! I really like this local restaurant and like supporting small businesses. This is the 3rd time i get home and get very dissatisfied when i see the fries. They are big portion but refried. Ate only couple of fries of the whole bag. They were hard stale and greasy. I had mentioned this to them before and thought they would stop refrying the fries! But NO! Not sure if i will be going back. They also have different cooks all the time and food is made differently each time. I got a chicken wrap that normally has dressing inside. Got home and no dressing. Didnt think I had to ask for it since usually it comes in it already. I was able to deal with that. But was not a fan of throwing a big portion of fries i payed for.

While searching for a local place to get a good breakfast burrito, we came across Burger Basket. Not too far from us, small local business, good reviews, let's check it out. When arriving, there is parking in the rear, and on that small side street. There is no direct parking in front. There is plenty of space for parking. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, reminiscent of a local hangout...It's not top of the line decor, but it's pretty homely. Inside, there are a few tv's so that you have something to entertain yourself while chowing down. There are a few kid's toys there too to try to keep them entertained and not bouncing off the walls. Alcohol is served here, so it goes well with your food when a game is on. The menus are a bit outdated, and is ever changing, so you'd have to check with them for real time prices. I will say that the past few times i've been there...they do not offer the machaca breakfast burritos as of October 2023. We've been coming back because we're loving the sausage breakfast burritos and the sausage breakfast sandwich. Good taste and very filling!!! They also have pretty good chili cheese fries, but the chili does have a good kick to it. I suffer..but in a good way! If you want a quick and tasty bite, and with friendly service from the staff, this is the place to go!

Needed a fast lunch before the day's errands and good ole Burger Basket came through again. The service was excellent and the food was served piping hot and full of flavor. The sausage burrito had a twist: the potatoes were seasoned up with cumin and chili pepper, possibly chorizo, I was not mad at it. Added a new depth of flavor with the melted cheese, sausage and scrambled eggs. The chicken strips w/fries basket was fried up to perfection and seasoned generously. Burger Basket deserves more recognition in Norwalk's food game. I prefer it over Tam's.

I asked for a thousand island dressing which they charge ¢50 for. I didn't have cash so I offered to pay with my debit card she stated that I couldn't but I had paid earlier with my debit card. I won't lie. I was drawn to this place based on the pictures alone. There are a Ba-ga-Zillion little hamburger/pastrami/breakfast joints around, so how do you pick one to try? Why not try them all!? I might make this a goal... And just limit it to a certain city or something. I'll probably forget I even typed this. Yeah, so Burger Basket! They have a special menu with crazy good pricing. My friend ordered the pastrami with salad and French fries/onion rings. His whole plate was filled. I mean FILLED. I was amazed by the portions. I on the other hand went small and got a smaller burger combo but upgraded the fries to the chili cheese version. I liked that they used shredded cheese, but the chili was pretty standard issue. Don't use your debit or credit card! They charge a .75 fee... AND... They force you to round up your purchase to the next $10 amount. So if your order is 15.25, you have to be charges $20 and they give you 4.75 change. This is a crack smoking scam!! I have not gotten my food yet, but there's no way it will be good enough for me to come back. Adios burger basket. read more

Burgers are Pretty Good, and that's about it. I have tried a few things from their menu, and well not so good. My biggest issue is that I have seen the Owner put away the little baskets without washing them. In this day we really need to go the extra mile and clean and keep the customers safe. The owner also handles the money, Phone and other non-food stuff, and then goes and handles food. YUK !! read more

I came here because of the reviews. I ordered the cheeseburger which is the most recommended and reviewed item. It did not live up to the reviews and left a greasy film in my mouth that stayed for two hours in spite of guzzling 24 ounces of bottled water. A few of the fries had a fishy taste. Will not return. So far Fronk's is number one in my quest to find the best cheeseburger. read more

Great food. Good value. Service was really good. Here is why I only gave it 4 stars .... I didn't like that they make round up your purchase amount when you use your ATM card. My total was $18.46 and I was told they had to charge my card $20.00 plus the 75 cents ATM fee. They gave me back the difference. But I didn't understand why it had to done that why. When I'm craving a burger this is where I come to eat one.... I love their fries ... But if you are gonna have breakfast I recommend trying the chili cheese omelet... It is bomb.... Ah, yes, Burger Basket. This was THE hangout spot back in the day when I used to be in the (gasp!) all-city marching band. Rehearsal was just down the street, so if you wanted to kill sometime and chow down, the Basket was the spot. I still like to come here from time to time for a cheeseburger special. The burger is cooked on an open flame grill. Nothing special, but just plain good. It comes with tomato, shredded lettuce, american cheese, and a thousand island type dressing. It's really quite simple, but sometimes just what you're looking for. My favorite part is pretending I'm "Igor", which is a nickname I have for one of the cooks that works there. I don't know his real name, but he looks like an "Igor", and a Russian accent fits the bill. Rumor has it that his tears cure cancer...too bad he never cries. :( read more

I ordered breakfast for dinner and usually that's great! Umm NOT the case here! The worst, dirty, grease tasting hashbrowns I've ever tasted! Eggs were not even close to Over Easy, toast was soggy and the bacon was ok. My sister ordered the steak sandwich dinner. Yhe bread was hard, the steak was like jerky, but the ranch on the salad was good, yay! My Buddy ordered the bacon burger combo and let's just say we threw it away due to soggy bread! read more

It doesn't make sense to remove happy hour entirely without offering any alternative promotions--if anything, I would expect more incentives on a day like this. We ended up leaving without ordering because the experience started off on the wrong foot. Disappointing, especially since this has been a go-to spot for us in the past.
