This review is solely based on their to go service via DoorDash. Burgers wouldn't be my first request to order to go because I feel that burgers and fries can become soggy quite easily, but Burger City has found a way to consistently deliver fresh and crispy burgers. They put all the fixings on the side which seems to prevent the buns from becoming soggy. Even their salads arrive crisp and just as if you ordered them in the restaurant. One of my favorite items on the menu actually isn't a burger but their crispy chicken avocado salad. This salad is HUGE and even has pickles to add some extra crunch! I'm also a big fan of their homemade Italian dressing. Another favorite of mine is the beer battered Cajun fries and homemade ranch dressing. I truly hope this small business survives the COVID shutdowns because their food will surely be missed. read more

The wife and I have been coming to Burger City for quite some time now and we love it! The staff is friendly and always on top of your needs. The menu selections are larger than one would expect. Burgers are tasty. We tried many different things besides burgers. Philly cheesesteak (w/ side of au jus) is outstanding. The crab and avocado sandwich is yummy. The wife likes getting the chicken strips and fries. On Mondays, they always have their corned beef and cabbage or you can even get a Rueban sandwich. Every first Tuesday of each month, their attached bar (Linda's Cocktails) features a Tap Takeover of a local brewery + $2 Tacos (pork or chicken). And on weekends, they're open for breakfast. They offer a great array of breakfast menu items: Chicken-fried steak and eggs, Omelettes, pancakes or French toast, breakfast burrito, or a tasty easy breakfast sandwich (always a pleaser). And what goes great with a hearty breakfast. A beautifully shaken spicy Bloody Mary. They also offer Mimosas at an inexpensive price. I don't know why it's taken me so long to do a review on Burger City. I've been here enough times to do a review, so finally here it is! Burger City is a good place to get your burger fix. The atmosphere inside is very home-like with good service and friendly staff. Don't let the name Burger City fool you, because they also serve other foods. You can also come here in the morning for breakfast, and there's also dinner items on the menu. There's really nothing fancy to it. No out-of-this-world fusion recipe burger. Just your basic good ol' fashion burger choices. I myself enjoy the California Avocado Burger which is actually served on sandwich bread and not a burger bun. Mmmm...so buttery. I also like their chili cheese fries, which you can upgrade from regular fries. Is Burger City the best burgers I've ever had? Probably not. But is Burger City one of those burger spots that you can count on when you are craving a good burger? Yes it is! I will definitely continue to come to Burger City when I'm in the area. read more

X so I have been to burger city a total of 5 times in last few months All have been great experiences with staff and food was very satisfying. Last Saturday I was going in to try breakfast service. Well things started well. Till half way into my breakfast I found to black hairs under the portion of potatoes I had just eaten. I waited for waitress to come by table. I showed her my concern She was very sorry and removed my meal from ticket. Which I was ok with. The part that got me thinking never go back again was the reaction of the cook. My family visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening around 6. I suppose the sign at the hostess sign declaring in all caps "URGENTLY HIRING ALL POSITIONS" should have been a warning sign that we would have a poor experience, but we'd eaten here in 2019 and had a good experience. I had previously ordered garlic fries and the chipotle burger and enjoyed it, so I ordered that again. My son ordered wings, my husband ordered a pastrami burger. The food came out relatively quickly....at least the burgers did. The garlic fries were clearly made using bottled minced garlic- I could taste the sour vinegar flavor of the liquid preservative. The excess liquid quickly soaked into the plate of fries, making them soggy and sour tasting. Garlic fries should be made with fresh chopped garlic, in order to prevent the fries from absorbing the liquid preservative, and because jarred chopped garlic has a nasty aftertaste if it isn't cooked. The chipotle burger was a travesty. The cheese was not melted through- it was just shredded cheese piled on the patty. A few shreds were melted, but most were just congealed together, partly melted, and the center of the pile was still cold. The chipotle mayo was completely missing from the burger. And the "spicy chipotle spread?" It was literally chopped canned chipotle peppers- no seasoning added, and not evenly chopped. Chunks of chipotle pepper just smeared onto both sides of the bun. This was literally inedible. I took 4 bites (hey, I was hungry and remember, the fries were awful!) but I couldn't eat more than that. Within 5 minutes my stomach was in so much pain that I went and sat in the car. Mind you, it's been a full week now and my stomach is *still* not back to normal from the massive shock of eating chunks of chipotle pepper on the burger. Apparently my son's wings showed up at the same time as the bill. My husband brought them home and reheated them in the air fryer and my son ate at home. My husband said he would have complained to the waitress about our order, but considering she didn't even know what beers were on tap and seemed completely overwhelmed by her section, he didn't bother. After all, it's not the staff's fault that management can't run the place properly. Skip this restaurant and hit up In-N-Out next time, it'll be better and cheaper. read more

We had a good experience visiting Burger City for happy hour. I had wine and mozzarella sticks and my husband had a crab sandwich with garlic fries as well as beer. The service was only okay. They could definitely be a bit more attentive and get the job done more thoroughly. Beverages took a while took a while to be refilled. When empty plates were being removed, they wouldn't just take all of them away (No idea what was up with this). And the employees talked across the room with one another. I ordered the cheeseburger and Justin ordered the mushroom swiss burger. The burgers were an absolute mess, especially mine. Now I'm all for messy food when they have good reasons to be. But mine just completely broke apart. The grilled onions were chopped into itty bitty pieces so that you end up with this super mushy burger that falls apart before you even get a chance to bite into it. We were both very unimpressed with our food. Loaded potatoes were okay. They came out pipping hot which is good, but had some ridiculously MASSIVE chunks of green onions on them. The cole slaw was really sweet. Overall, the taste of everything was mediocre at best. Averaging $10 a burger, I would opt to eat elsewhere in the future. This place definitely did not satisfy my appetite for an amazing burger. This just about sums up my experience here the first time around too. It's not something I have completely forgotten about, but because it's been so long, I was hoping things would be different. There will not be a third visit. Owner also tried to message me as you can read on the bottom. This is my reply: The onions were distrubuted unevenly. One of the potato skin didn't even have any of the "fresh" onions you spoke of on there. And some were so huge, you may as well have placed the whole sprig on there.
