Went there for lunch today and it was okay. For the price the quantity and quality of food is lacking. Plus they charge for every single extra like different cheese and mushrooms which other places in town include in the price (Kriner's Burgers and Pies). The burger was small.. for 7.47 I expect a decent sized patty and it was the size of a Mc Donald's double cheeseburger. The fries were okay but were oversalted. This is my 3rd time here since they opened! My first experience was a very positive one. I thought the food was good, fresh and hot! They'd only been open 2 days and there was a urgency and pleasant attitude from the staff working. I did notice however, the lobby was not given the attention it needed especially with the sheer number of patrons. The trash was so full you couldn't put another item in it. My second experience the trash again was too full to put anything in it without putting your arm in the small hole to push it down! I know the opening is small to keep people from throwing the serving trays out in the trash as well. The food was still good. My most recent experience was 12/20/14 between 4:20 -5pm. The lobby was not all that full, but there was a line of about 7 people waiting with only one person on the register to take the orders. We placed our order with a guy who clearly was at the end of his shift and barely able to keep eye contact with us. However, he did make sure his friend who was also a employee waiting in line got numerous acknowledgments both visual and vocal. He also was trying to get another employees attention to ask if she was going to be on that register, and if she wanted to go ahead and take it...Yes, while were were still standing there. Rude. He took our order, and was fidgeting enough it seemed to signal we may be taking longer then he would like for us to place our order. I did ask him to add Lettuce and tomato at the end of our order , which he said he would. We got the order and my burger was luke warm. It was like the patty was not cooked to order but cooked earlier and put under a heat source to keep warm. The bun was not warm and because the patty wasn't warm, so I had a "cold" burger - with no lettuce or tomato, because he forgot to add it. The fries however were piping hot! I returned the burger to the counter, asking for a hot burger with the lettuce and tomato. I am not certain but I wonder if they actually "re fired" another burger of just re heated the burger and put it on the existing bun set up. The second burger was to my original expectation, hot and tasty. The trash once again was so full there were trays left on the table with the food trash because they were too full. I worked in the food industry and I do try to give the benefit of doubt. In conclusion, we will be taking a break from Burger Fi for a while. Although I was initially very excited, the place has only be open a few weeks and the standard appears to be slipping. read more

Awesome environment, and very friendly staff. Order was disappointingly incorrect. The VegeFi was done perfectly. Two BurgerFi cheeseburgers, with bacon, one minus tomato came out as; two cheeseburgers, one with nothing on it, the other with lettuce only. The final burger, a custom double cheese with bacon... No bacon... Slim amount of sauces on any of the burgers (garlic aoli). Decent flavors. An order of onion rings, bucket of fries... $52.00. I dont know about the next trip. We'll see. read more

Good burgers. All natural and fresh cut fries. People complain about price but I believe it is priced accordingly (hey its Alaska everything is expensive). Burgers are good. I wouldn't say the best burger in town but it is far from being the worst burger in town. Decent place if you are in the area. Shakes are good too! I like the atmosphere as well. Only suggestion would be, my kids ordered ketchup only but both burgers came fully loaded with all the fixings, get someone behind the grill that can follow directions. I just tried this place again gave it another chance but still it was overpriced my burger was dry it was not what I expect out of a burger joint there was no such thing has any juice coming out of my burger did not see anything about this place I liked !! While the food here was passable, the price to food ratio was way off. My total came to $18 for a double burger, fries & Cries (fries and onion rings) and a drink. While this is high, if the burger was amazing, I would have been almost OK if I did not have to pay for a drink separately. The burger was NOT amazing, it was small. Smaller than a Quarter Pounder from any other fast food restaurant. Overall, it was just another burger. They may have fresh burgers, but it was dry and just like any other burger. I ordered the burger with grilled mushrooms A La Carte but got less than an ounce of Shrooms to go with the Swiss. The Fries, with Cajun Seasoning were great. The drink should have been included in the cost of the burger since drinks are usually all profit for restaurants, but that is just my opinion. Nobody forced me to order a drink. Overall, the experience was not worthwhile. I will not be returning. If I am going to spend $18 for a meal then I want something to wow me. read more

This place I amaziiiing, I'm obsessed with their Beyond Burgers. I'm also very picky, but they never seem to have a problem taking this and that off and adding this and that, just how I like it. Jackie is the main girl I usually deal with, and after the second time in she knew exactly what my order was, as complicated as it is. She's great! Great new burger place with high quality ingredients. They have burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, frozen custard, milkshakes and beer and wine. The atmosphere is casual modern and there are two TVs for sports viewing. The staff was friendly and I like getting a beeper to alert you when your food is ready so you can find a table and relax until it goes off. The onion rings are the bomb - huge and sweet. The burger itself was tasty, but the one thing I was not a fan of was the hamburger bun. I thought it was too soft and flimsy for the weight of the burger. It literally fell apart and I had to eat my burger with a knife and fork at the end. They would do well to upgrade their hamburger buns. Other than that, I am glad the chain came all the way up here from Florida because we need a good burger place open late and on Sundays that is not a dive with questionable cleanliness. I think this establishment will really flourish in the Mall at Sears since all they have at the food court is overpriced subpar asian food. Oh, and the chocolate custard is delicious too! Not impressed, way better burgers at other places in town. My friend and I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger. They were smaller like say McDonalds but I thought that was good so we wouldn't be sick from an oversized burger. Our burgers were both still pink and mushy inside. There was so much grease that the buns were literally soaked through and just nasty. We literally ate just a few bites and felt sick. I should add they were also VERY salty! We both didn't even get through half our little burgers before we were done and threw them away. WE ordered a small fry to share. They were nothing remarkable and we ended up ditching most of them too! The food here is also expensive. We purchased the two burgers, one small fry and two soda's and paid $28.00 to throw most of it in the garbage. I won't be going back, there are way too many other places in town with tasty delicious burgers. Burger FI is not one of those places in my opinion. read more

I bought a milkshake (about ten visits--yes, I gave them many chances to improve themselves) at the location at the Sear's Mall in Anchorage. EVERY time the response was extremely slow waiting about ** half an hour ** for one milkshake even when it was not very crowded. EVERY time I had to go to the counter and complain that my order for one item was very slow, and EVERY time I was told to wait more. EVERY time I had to repeat my visit to the counter to complain about my one item. EVERY time the staff assumed that every person is ordering a full meal, so they make the milkshake and place it aside and wait for a food order to come. THESE PEOPLE ARE STUPID TO ASSUME THAT. My milkshake was half melted EVERY time. I will never go to this restaurant chain again. This company needs to learn new customer service techniques. Went to this location a couple of weeks ago it was around 3pm I was the only customer in the place. I thought it was strange but none the less it was after the lunch hour the staff was just standing around not doing anything, but the place was so dirty ! Tables not cleaned and floor dirty no ice in the machine and condiment dipensers just gross plus no nspkins got my food fast just a lettuce wrap burger, but you would think with all the down time the staff had they would be cleaning and getting ready for the next dinner rush did not finish my food and left. read more

Yeah, it was good. I had a hankering for a veggie burger & since I had yet to go here, I decided on it for lunch (it helps that my office is a few blocks away). For starter, I can only comment about the veggie burger, I have no idea what the meat tastes like, may warrant a second trip. It was busy inside & the inside was nice. The style reminded me of Brown Bag downtown, but with burgers. I ordered to go & was given one of those beeper things. I agree with what most reviewers have been commenting on: price. My veggie burger, fries, & some fountain soda came to a total of $16. Seems a little spendy for a veggie burger to be honest. And what is going on with charging people for fries in a restaurant?? Not sure when this started but it seems other midtown spots like Tommy's & Table 6 have also jumped on this extra charge for fries bandwagon (seriously, this is insulting). McDonalds, I get, but these new joints not so much (I'm pretty sure I could write an entire article about this, it really irks me). OK, end the charge-for-fry rant, back to burger. Went back to office, which mentioned above is close by & took me about 3 minutes to get back. Opened the bag & took a generous first bite of the burger only to be disappointed by it's warm'ish taste. The flavor was there, however it needed to be cooked for another 4 minutes, then it would've been perfect. It was small but for a lunch, I think it was the perfect size. I also ordered the cajun fries & like my burger just fell short on the cooking time. If they just left them cooking for another minute or so, they too would've been perfect. Both items were warm at best & I'm most definitely factoring in the 3 -5 minute travel time. However....if you have a hankering for a burger I would definitely suggest this spot for lunch. Horrible service. They got our order wrong 2 times. At the end we just ate the wrong stuff because we were so annoyed. All the girls at the front just stand around and talk like they are all on a coffee break. When one decided to help us correct our order she couldn't even figure out what she was supposed to be doing. The lady in charge in the kitchen is so unprofessional. The burgers are delicious and perfectly-sized... The ONLY thing I didn't like about BurgerFi was the lemonade. First, service is what you expect the cashier was nice, the restaurant was clean. I went the traditional route on the Burger and had the BurgerFi "DOUBLE ANGUS BURGER, LETTUCE, TOMATO, BURGERFI SAUCE" The Bun was very good, its not soggy and defiantly fresh, the patty was good little over cooked, overall it was something anyone could put together at home.it lacked sauce so I can not really tell you what the burgerfi sauce is since it did not have much of any on there and I was afraid to ask for a side since all the topping seem to have an extra charge. topping were on the skimpy side too, my burger was mostly bun and patty. Overall the burger is small the size seems to be similar to something you would get as a happy meal at McD's or an In-N-Out size burger maybe smaller, but for almost 3 times the cost. Its impossible to compare this to an In-N-Out because they are very different In-N-Out serves a very basic burger that has great taste all fresh at an affordable price. The French Fries at BurgerFi are good, they are wedge cut fries and are good as long as you eat them hot, I like that I had to add salt to them they were not too salty. You get a very ample size fries so as long as you order french fries with your burger you wont leave hungry, perhaps a better name for this place is FryFi, since they seem to put more emphases on the french fries. Overall all ingredients are fresh however the overall price does not seem to justify the quality of a burger they serve. read more
