This is the BEST Mexican Restaurant in DuPage County, maybe in the whole state of Illinois! The steak tacos were tender, juicy, and extremely tasty! The rice was fluffy and flavorful, while the beans were creamy and delicious. The staff were polite, courteous, and welcoming. The ambiance could use some work. Don't get me wrong, it was clean, but out dated.

The place is clean. I could've given 4 star, however the person at the counter ( Mexican lady) didn't listen to my order. No smile, no engaging. I wanted 3 tacos plate, hoping to try the beans & rice. Unfortunately she made my tacos on the side instead- disappointing. We went yesterday 11/7/24 between- 11-12pm. Food is good- burrito MUST to try. Lengua taco's-wow. Carnitas- is okay. Steak- okay. Rice- can be better(more seasoning please) Ambiance- good. Am I coming back, maybe. Pic's provided below.

My best friend suggested Burrito Paradise to eat for dinner. I am SOOOO glad she did. I ordered the taco dinner and three more tacos on the side (ground beef, chorizo, steak, al pastor) Everything was DELICIOUS. Each bit of the tacos had me humming. The ground beef was savory. The chorizo made my tongue do a dance! The steak was tender with each bit and with a lot of flavor. The al pastor was crispy yet tender on the inside as it should be, Rice and beans were good. Nice and clean inside, great customer service, even have special Taco Tuesday! The way I feel about Burrito Paradise, trust me, I am not... "All By Myself" sung by Eric Carmen

Came with my 3 year old on a Friday night. Steady customers eating in and doing takeout. The girls at the front were very sweet and very polite . I ordered a baby steak burrito dinner and it was huge. Took half home. Also ordered a pork tamale . The steak was tender which I always appreciate but could have used some more flavor. Same for the tamale. It was good but wish I could have tasted the masa more . Got an order of fries for my daughter and it was HUGE . Overall good and I would go back again.

It was just as good as in the restaurant. We ordered for 4 people. The food was spot on. Tomahawk, 2 Vodka pastas, and the wagyu beef stroganoff. With two brussels sprouts sides, the cheese cake and banana pie. The deserts are to die for! I am amazed this carry-out was just as good as in the restaurant. Well packaged. Still fresh when we got home and as always here, tasty. Well done!

So I thought we were all set. Our reservation was for 6:00, and we arrived at 5:54. We were told to wait until six, which was perfectly fine. Six o'clock rolls around and we're told they're still cleaning the table. Okay, we wait. Then we wait. And wait. Thirty minutes later, we find out the people who had the table STILL hadn't even left. Baby...what exactly were we reserving three weeks ago, a future dream? They offered us a complimentary appetizer, which I appreciate in theory, but when you've got a party of eight waiting 40 minutes past their reservation time, I'm not really looking for the cheapest appetizer on the menu. I'm looking for the table I reserved. Eventually, we were seated, and thank GOD for our server Alexis B, because they completely turned the experience around. Funny, knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and genuinely one of the best servers I've ever had. If I could give them five stars separately, I would. They made us feel welcome and somehow kept the whole table laughing after that rocky start. The food had some hits and misses. The crab cake was a little too spicy for my taste, although the rest of the table enjoyed it. The mini sliders, however? DELICIOUS. That buttery, well seasoned bun was doing exactly what it needed to do. Then came my Entourage burger, and baby...THAT burger understood the assignment. It was absolutely packed with flavor. So good that I practically inhaled it. My server even asked if I wanted another one because apparently I ate it fast enough to qualify for a second round. Unfortunately, the management situation left a lot to be desired. After the issues getting our table, the managers seemed to keep watching our group throughout the night. If you're going to stare, baby, at least commit to the performance! It made an already awkward situation feel even more uncomfortable. Honestly, my server Alexis B, was the ONLY reason this experience ended on a positive note. They were so charming and personable that by the end, they felt more like a friend than a server. I'm genuinely going to miss them. The food was good, and that burger was fantastic, but a three-week reservation should not turn into a 40 minute wait with a party of eight standing around wondering when they're going to eat. So unfortunately, I'm leaving with two stars. The food gave me reasons to come back, but the reservation experience and management gave me reasons to stay home. And to my server: you were the star of the night. Protect this person at all costs.

I had the Braised Beef Short Rib, which was not only gluten-free but also very tasty. My wife had the Pesto Shrimp Risotto, which was also good. The atmosphere was good and parking was ample. It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

The pork belly, ciabatta, and balsamic were all good individually, but together the flavors just didn't work. It felt mismatched... * Colorado lamb kebab: 10/10. This is one of the more $$ entrées on the menu, but it's absolutely worth it. The portion was generous, the lamb was high quality, and the artichoke pesto paired really well with the rich, gamey flavor. The roasted pearl onions were a great addition too. I would definitely recommend this dish. * Foxtail paella: 8/10 flavorful orzo paella loaded with seafood. Definitely a sharing type of entree! Always a great time at Foxtail with great food and great service!

After venturing out to the city and having a failed experience, we went to Gibson's in OakBrook. High five all around. The restaurant was extremely busy as it was a Saturday night, and we were greeted with a smile by their amazing hostess, who was able to see us immediately. The servers are extremely knowledgeable, but also have excellent taste in wine selections! We ordered the crab meat avocado for starter in. This was the first time we ever tried this particular appetizer. Ladies and gentlemen, it did not disappoint! My only regret is there was non-left to take home for dinner. We had the New York strip, lamb chops (Greek style),mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts and elote for sides. Zero complaints, excellent all around. The steak was cooked to perfection and the lamb chops just melt in your mouth. Even though we barely made a dent, we ordered the carrot cake to take home! Thank you to our excellent servers who contributed to a great night. As I say, that's just my palate, go try it for yourself and let me know what you think.

Lobster bisque soup did come out hot but it was just ok. Side salads were just ok too. Bone in ribeyes came to the table sizzling but they too were "just ok." Spinach and sweet potato sides were plentiful. The four of us shared a blueberry Bundt cake with ice cream. Though the service was stellar we left feeling that our entrees were mediocre at best. We did have an enjoyable meal in a perfect atmosphere. Were the entrees worth $70(+/-) each? Sadly, no. It has been years since we had dined at a Gibson's. We agreed that we remember the entrees to having been better than "just ok."
