I came here for a sweet treat after a dinner and the ice cream cro boong I had here was pretty good! I ordered the vanilla ice cream cro boong per the server's recommendation. The ice cream was sweet and creamy, but it was a bit hard which made the dessert a bit difficult to eat. It did pair well with the croissant taiyaki which was flaky and nicely glazed. It was crispy and chewy. It was also slightly warmed before the ice cream was inserted which was a nice contrast. I love a la mode desserts, so this was right up my alley! Overall, the dessert was good and the portion size was good for sharing despite it being a little difficult to eat. The interior was small, but cute. I liked the picnic table vibes. There was even some board games that you can play with while you enjoy your dessert. The service was great and the server helping me was super nice. My friend was feeling a bit sick which the server noticed. She even offered a plastic bag which was thoughtful of her. There's also free parking in front, but I'm not sure if it's 100% free because there was valet present. However, I was able to self-park for free when I visited on a Friday night. Overall, a solid spot for dessert in Ktown! They also offer coffee drinks which I would like to try next time.

Got to try this spot out sometime last week. It was pretty good! I got a banana matcha and a pistachio cro ice boong. It's a cute little spot. They also have board games to play with if you're gonna dine in!

My partner and I stopped in for a sweet treat after grabbing dinner nearby. We got the strawberry cream and the pecan praline croobong. Both items were tasty, though I wish the pecan praline was a bit warmer. Overall, this is a solid dessert stop in the area, and somewhere we will likely return.

Cute and quiet dessert shop! Shared the 붕어빵 fish pastry with pecan ice cream with a friend, and it was a nice sweet treat! Inferior was so pretty with the sun shining into the cafe.

Yummy hybrid Taiyaki w croissant and waffle like cake cookie. You can get plain or filled. Plain sugar is $4 and filled w custard is $5. Comes out nice and warm.

Maybe it's because we came right before they closed, but this wasn't enjoyable at all. My guy and I got Strawberry Cream Cro-Boong and it tasted old and was extremely sweet. I felt like I had a mouthful of straight sugar. Absolutely not worth it.

We were fortunate enough to get some local street parking since this parking lot was valet only. UNfortunately, this dessert was a HUGE miss for us. The fish were all premade and sitting in a heater. Once the cream was added, everything was just a huge mushy mess. No crunch, no crisp, just a chewy mess. It definitely has potential since the cream was light and fluffy on its own. The croissant fish just needed to made to order. My 10 yo son took one bite and didn't want it. My 12 yo daughter said she also didn't like it and threw it out.

$5-6 for a cream filled croissant taiyaki I loveeee croffles, but sadly this one is not for me :( The stellar reviews made me super curious, but alas outer crust too thick and not flakey glaze on the outside sticks to my teeth and is quite sweet. Inside is quite dense and not flakey or soft/tender The coffee cream was good and plentiful, but felt like nothing I couldn't make at home.

Cozy Korean-Inspired Dessert Café - A Hidden Gem! If you're looking for a place that feels like a warm hug in dessert form, this Korean-style café is it! The atmosphere is soft, healing, and cozy--perfect for a slow afternoon or catching up with friends. 1 Cro-Boong (Korean Taiyaki) Their taiyaki is next-level--crispy on the outside, warm and creamy on the inside. We went with the custard filling and added espresso, banana, and strawberry cream. Yes, it's definitely an indulgence, but it's absolutely worth it. The balance of textures and flavors was perfect. 2 Croffle (Croissant + Waffle) A fresh-made Korean croffle that's crispy, buttery, and soft in the middle. You can customize it with a variety of toppings--fun and delicious! 3 Dalgona Latte If you're a latte lover like me, don't miss this. The whipped coffee foam on top gives a lovely contrast to the creamy milk, and the dalgona candy bits add that perfect sweet crunch. 4 Vienna Einspanner Highly recommend this one--rich espresso meets silky milk with a layer of whipped cream. Bitter, smooth, and slightly sweet--it's beautifully balanced. 5 Yuzu Ade Refreshing and zesty! The yuzu base mixed with lemon soda makes for the perfect palate cleanser after sweets. Great pairing with everything on the menu

Delicious. I absolutely loved the pecan praline ice cream with the croboong! My friend and I went when it wasn't busy, so we were able to get our orders quite fast. Most of the taiyaki I've had in the past were too soft, but this one had a great little crunch on the outside! Very good crisp, and that's something I really appreciate about it :) The pecan praline was so good; I thought about asking just to get the ice cream to have more at the end hahah. This was a great dessert place to go to after dinner; so glad that I got to try it. The place itself was interesting. There were small tables and mini games available, which was nice. The kitchen area was quite open, and there were several random items there, but that's about it. I'll definitely come back :D Probably one of my favorite dessert places in KTown.

I've been meaning to stop by for some time now and glad I did. The cream filled cro-boon was delicious! I just wish that utensils were placed somewhere accessible especially if the cashier isn't going to stay at the front. I understand that if you don't have customers and you're busy in the back you may not be able to stay at the front at all times but it also looks bad on the business if you walk in and no one's there or if you have to get up to ask for a fork-it should have been given with the dessert if we're the only customers inside.

I love this place, if you're in the mood for a sweet treat without breaking the bank this is your spot!

I still moved across the cute little dessert place in Koreatown in a very unlikable Plaza. The place is super tiny and have like four tables. I think I can fit probably 10 people or less. There was only one person working behind the counter. The menu is very small but intimate. I had the plain sugar cro-boong and the espresso cream filled cro-boong. It is basically a caramelized glazed croissant in a fish shape. Similar to a taiyaki but sugar glaze coated. You must try it. It is so good. I wish they would make more variations, such as fruits on the side or something. I come here every time I am in Koreatown, which is not very often. I wish I live closer so I can go every day ha ha ha ha ha

The drinks and pastries have always made it an easy place for us to grab a treat, so I'm not writing this based on one random first impression. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing enough that I felt I needed to say something. When we came in, the trash cans were overflowing, and the floor looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. I understand that cafés can get very busy, especially in Little Tokyo, and I never expect a place to look perfect every second of the day. However, the dining area felt noticeably neglected. With two children, cleanliness is something I pay closer attention to, and it was uncomfortable trying to find a clean area for us to stand and sit. The overall atmosphere also felt disorganized. We waited at the register for help, but it took a while before anyone acknowledged us. A simple "I'll be right with you" would have made a big difference. I have had better experiences here in the past, which is why this visit stood out so much. I'm hoping this was simply a bad day, because Café Dulce has always been a place I was happy to visit with my family. I'm sharing this because I would genuinely like to see the cleanliness and customer service return to the standard I remember. Private Feedback for Management I did not feel comfortable putting the full details of this experience in a public review, but I believe management needs to be aware of what happened. While I was standing at the register waiting to order, the male employee working there was engaged in a conversation with another person and appeared to be openly gloating about drinking while on the job. Based on what I heard and observed, he also appeared to be impaired or intoxicated. He continued the conversation while ignoring me, even though I was standing directly in front of the register waiting to place an order. The tone of the conversation was not subtle or professional. It created a much darker and more uncomfortable atmosphere than what I would ever expect from a family-friendly café. I was there with my two children, and hearing someone behind the register casually talking about drinking while working was deeply concerning. Someone who appears intoxicated while operating a register and handling customers' money creates a terrible narrative for the business. It raises concerns about judgment, accuracy with transactions, food-service safety, and the overall professionalism of the workplace. Even if the employee was exaggerating or joking, it was still completely inappropriate to have that conversation openly in front of customers. What bothered me most was not only the conversation, but the fact that I was being ignored while it continued. I was waiting to spend money at the business, yet the employee seemed more interested in talking about drinking than acknowledging a customer. As a mother standing there with two children, the situation felt uncomfortable, disrespectful, and honestly a little disturbing. This is not my first time visiting Café Dulce, and I have never felt compelled to complain before. I understand that employees are human and that businesses have difficult days. However, the combination of overflowing trash cans, a dirty floor, being ignored at the register, and an employee appearing impaired while discussing drinking on the job crossed a line for me. I am sharing this privately because I believe management should have the opportunity to address it directly. I hope the situation is taken seriously, not only for the reputation of the café, but for the safety and comfort of the customers and employees.

Here's a helpful tip: The bank next door allows 10 minutes of parking if you use their ATM and keep your receipt. There is security in the lot, so be sure to have your receipt as proof of the time. It's more than enough time to run next door and grab your treats. I ordered a slice of the lemon loaf, a gluten-free cookie, and the classic chocolate chip cookie. The lemon loaf slice is huge, I'd say it's the equivalent of two slices, so it's definitely big enough to share. As for the cookies, Levain is known for making them thick and rich. A small piece goes a long way, making them perfect for savoring over a couple of days (if you have that much self-control!). The moment you walk inside, you're greeted by the incredible aroma of freshly baked pastries, and the service was warm and welcoming. I truly think everyone should experience a Levain cookie or pastry at least once. It's worth the visit!
