My boyfriend and I were here this past Tuesday (2/11) for an early Valentine's day lunch, and I was blown away. We chose Fiorello's on a whim, since we both love Italian food, but I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, since the outside seems so underrated. I was wonderfully surprised to find just how authentically delicious this small, mom-n-pop cafe was! We walk in, around 1:30, were seated promptly and greeted by our server (Polly, I do believe). She was VERY knowledgeable about the menu, the specials, the wine... everything! We started with the antipasto (great choice), and were served fresh bread and bruschetta, made in house. Boyfriend had Shrimp Scampi, and I had one of the specials for the day (can't remember the name, it was shrimp, mussel, and clam in garlic white wine sauce with bowtie pasta). I can't emphasize enough how everything was delicious! To end our date, we had coffee and triple chocolate mousse cake. In all, everything was reasonably priced for the amazing quality and the service was wonderful. Boyfriend and I went dutch and ended up paying about $35 each. This has to be the worst Italian restaurant in the area. We went recently on 5/10/14. The restaurant was half full but we still waited 30 minutes for our table. The waiter mumbled and you could not understand anything he said. He also had the worst attitude. Despite this we ordered. The food took forever and was mostly cold. I don't know if the waiter just left the food there or it was the preparations. My wife complained to the manager/owner who did nothing. Also as I was looking around the restaurant you could see they never bussed the tables. They just let the tables stay that way. No way to run a business. Well this was our second but last time. After our first time I still wasn't sure but now I know for sure this place is a waste of time and money. There's too many other great restaurants around. read more

Really amazing Italian food. Great service also. The brick oven pizza was so good with incredible sauce. They serve this tomato pie style pizza along with the bread. Tasted just like my Italian grandmother's homemade pizza! I had the rigatoni fiorello and the flavor was so great. Can't wait to eat my leftovers!! Nice atmosphere. 10/22/18 - went for our anniversary dinner since this is one of our favorite places. It is totally empty for a Monday night. The Hostess chose to seat us in a nice quite alcove about 6 x 10 foot area. Cool , I thought , we'll have some privacy. Nope of all the 20+ open tables she chooses to seat another couple back to back with us in this tiny alcove. Ambiance went from 20 to 0 instantaneously and she was clueless. The service is good, but since it's always jam-packed getting your service quick is not an option; unless you come at a earlier time. The interior is good, it's a family owned restaurant which is nice to think about. There is sometimes a performer, so if you come alone focus in the music! If there is a Italian singer, often times the whole crowd joins in. You feel like you are at home in Italy. I recommend their Pizza. read more

This used to be our best place to eat. We have been going every week for years. But today, it was the worst food. The sauce, gravy, was watery and greasy. First off let me say, food was amazing. This is by far the best penne alle vodka I have ever had. Absolutely delicious. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it is super tiny and the tables were on top of each other and our server wasn't the best (other servers seemed to be more attentive though!) Terrible. For a $20 veal piccata dish, I received 2 slivers of veal and probably 2 liquid cups of sauce. Meatballs are frozen/mass produced and not fresh or homemade (for $1.50 each, they should be). Rigatoni Amatriciana contained what appeared to be bits of bacon fat, NOT prosciutto as described in the menu. The bread was old and stale, the "tomato pie" or whatever it is had a TON of garlic on it - inedible. AWFUL. I had high hopes for a homey, traditional Italian place but will never make this mistake again. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to see they have a bar. After reading positive reviews and driving by this place, my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try on a recent Saturday evening. Sadly our experience mirrored those on Google + reviews where the waiter really makes or breaks the experience. We were whisked in and plopped at a tiny table near a loud and boisterous group of "regulars." Our waiter (presumably the manager, the infamous Serefino?) never introduced himself, and seemed impatient and unwelcoming. He was more interested in the larger tables and disappeared often. He shooed away the more welcoming and friendly busboys who tried to give us water, bread and later dessert. While the ravioli was good, the portions were small for the prices but my boyfriend's pasta was excellent. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. Despite talking briefly with a nearby table of regular diners and presumably the lady owner, both sweet and friendly, we felt uncomfortable and tense throughout the dining experience. read more

My daughter's graduation was this past Saturday 5/31 and we were looking for something in west chester for lunch after the graduation with easy parking and great food. we had 16 people and we all had GREAT meals. the service was outstanding and the ambiance was perfect - casual but very, very nice. Good Italian food here. Staff is always very friendly and attentive. Usually not too much of a wait even though I am very lazy about making reservations. The atmosphere is warm, with a family feel. Each meal I've gotten here has been great, portions are good, and prices are fair. Entered into a small Italian home which had so many nik-naks if they got rid of all the clutter and updated the place they may get a younger crowd in there. So old fashioned looking. Got seated at a 2 seated table so tiny that only 2 plates could stay on the table so when the food came out there was no room for the bread basket or glasses and the table rocked back and forth and were seated right beneath the air conditioning vent. Oh and the place had one other couple so it's not like there was other seating available. The food was plenty we ordered a veggie calzone and meat calzone. Ate a quarter and had to send both back because they food was refrigerator cold in the middle. Cheese didn't melt. Sent it back and it arrived at our table burnt-seriously you don't warm up food by placing it right next to the fire in the oven??? A little caring please. By now we are the only ones in there and the owner didn't apologize couldn't care less. NICE! So we just asked for a container to take home and they took our food from the table and packed it themselves. Don't remove my food from the table--I will pack it myself--I don't know what you are doing with it. Would never return for 35.00 and no drinks, cold food and poor service. Not worth it. read more
