I got the Bistro Burger, and wow it was so good. The Wagyu beef was juicy, the bun was soft and fluffy, and everything just worked. I know you don't usually go to a French restaurant for the fries, but these were genuinely some of the best fries I've ever had. I also found out they have bottomless mimosas and weekly jazz nights, which immediately made me want to come back. Overall, I had such an amazing experience here. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. I will 1000% be returning.

Our waitress did take around 10 mins to get me napkins, our baguette bread took 25 mins to come to our table. I will not recommend this restaurant for bottomless mussels. Electric Bleu is a modern French bistro with a cozy, neighborhood feel that somehow manages to be both refined and completely unpretentious. Everything from the service to the food was executed well, very well. Our server, Jessica P., was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and incredibly gracious, especially when our entrees took quite a while to come out. She more than made up for the less-than-welcoming demeanor of the staff member who brought our water, bread, and a few of our dishes. Between the four of us, we ordered quite a bit including the chilled pea soup topped with bacon, Gruyere, and a caramelized onion wafer (my appetizer), a half dozen fresh oysters with classic condiments, the salad of nectarines with burrata, pistachios, and basil, the grilled quail, the steak au poivre with its rich green peppercorn cognac sauce (my entree), the signature rotisserie chicken, baguette with fleur de sel butter, Electric Fries seasoned with their addictive chicken salt, and six glasses of wine. And everything I personally tried was exceptional. The pea soup was silky and packed with flavor, while the steak au poivre was cooked beautifully and smothered in a peppercorn cognac sauce that was rich but not overwhelming. Pair these with the Electric Fries and you've got a combination that I'll be thinking about for a long, long time. One of my friends ordered the rotisserie chicken and couldn't stop raving about it, saying it was unbelievably moist and one of the best chicken dishes he'd ever had. High praise from a fellow foodie! What surprised me most was how reasonably priced everything was for the quality of the food and overall experience. It had a beautiful crust, was cooked perfectly, and was incredibly flavorful. After trying it for myself I told him, "This is what I'm talking about when I say i want steak au poivre". The roasted chicken deserves just as much attention. It's one of those dishes that's easy to skip because you're thinking about steak, but don't. The skin was perfectly crisp, the meat was incredibly juicy, and it ended up being one of our favorite things we ordered. We've had great service both visits, parking has been easy every time, and the $50 corkage is very fair if you're bringing a nice bottle. It's not often we find ourselves making the drive back to a restaurant this quickly, but Electric Bleu has definitely earned a spot on our short list. Looking forward to coming back again.

The restaurant is part of that whole Platform complex in Culver City. It's a contemporary French spot, new and pretty, with a nicely designed interior and a spacious patio. We sat inside, which seemed like the better choice, and had a pleasant, relaxing dinner. The vibe was upscale but comfortable, and also on the quiet side, with probably too many empty tables for peak dinnertime on a Friday night. I hope Juliet is doing okay. It's a great restaurant that should appeal to a lot of people. Service was welcoming and professional, and the food and drink were excellent. We started with cocktails, and I really enjoyed my Le Sage, a refreshing mezcal drink with sage, Cara Cara orange, and peppercorn. I also tried my husband's Mon Coeur, with cognac, rye, cherry, and Benedictine, and my friend's Coco Chanel, with rum, pineapple, coconut, and green tea. Both lovely. We shared a bottle of wine with the rest of our dinner, a light French red that worked well with most of the dishes on the table. We shared a few appetizers, and these were all delicious. I loved the tarama, a flavorful whipped cod dip with salmon roe, dill oil, breakfast radishes, and toast. Could've accidentally eaten two whole plates by myself. The possion cru was a cool, zippy crudo with sliced amberjack, radish, Meyer lemon ponzu, serrano oil, and cilantro. The salade d'endives was a beautiful plate of tender endives with walnuts, grapes, and Roquefort cheese. My entrée was solid, if less memorable: the daurade royale, a sizable fillet of wild sea bream served with ratatouille and a vibrant green sauce pistou. My husband's côtes d'agneau, or lamb rib chops, were good, though a small portion (I stole a nibble), with chickpea purée and olive tapenade. I also tried one of the cigares de confit de canard, duck confit "cigars" rolled in crispy thin layers of dough, kind of like egg rolls or taquitos, with a side of sauce valois. Not bad, if a bit strange as a main course. I get dinner in Culver City with some regularity (central meeting point for me and my oldest girlfriends), and am always on the lookout for quality restaurants in the area, especially ones that work for larger groups. My favorite is mediterranean eggs, with the perfect fresh herb seasoning on poached eggs, in yogurt with hot chili oil (but it's not actually hot). No matter what my friends order, they always rave, so it seems you just can't go wrong here. Weekdays you might find a parking spot, but on weekends, plan on valet or take the metro, since the stop is a short walk away.

The bartenders were both super congenial and indulged our curiosity for how they made the drinks (even sharing the recipe for one of the choose your own cocktails...seriously delicious, balanced and overpriced at $25). The $28 burgers arrived and we each opted for our own $8 side of fries, since who wants to share fries! At $28 should it come with fries or a salad or a pickle...perhaps. So I guess it's ok to charge for the fries (it seems most places do). However to charge and extra dollar for an aioli dipping sauce for the fries seems a bit petty. Maybe one free dipping sauce with each order of fries. Was the burger worth $28, absolutely, it was rich, melt in your mouth, with some magical onions, on a bun that contained it all neatly, but not oversized (so you don't end up with more bun than meat). Would I return for this burger and rave to my friends. Yes. I needed something green and had a side order of green beans in a hot honey and almond sauce, which didn't really "go-with" the burger, so I'd like to see some other burger-friendly, small veggie thing on the menu... although the burger was so filling, not sure I'd even bother ordering veggies anyway. As a Moroccan, I can say it was a great vegetarian version of the dish. Has the staple veggies you look for in a cous cous. Once you are seated they ask about your drink order, and offered wines, sparkling water, and literally said "tap water". Pretty surprised that they said tap water, but we went with a glass of wine and sparkling water. The menu is short and it's easy to make your decision. We went with the 24oz Prime Ribeye Steak, Pappardelle pasta, Kingfish Crudo, and the Portuguese Piri Piri Shrimp. The ribeye was served with scalloped potatoes and green beans that were delicious. The ribeye was a perfect medium rare, tender, and served in a very balanced sauce. The Piri Piri Shrimp was also great. Large pieces in a slightly spicy cream sauce; I would describe it as almost a Cajun flavor. These were my favorites of the dishes we ordered on this night. The Kingfish Crudo was a nice choice. I believe it was yellowtail served with small pieces of cherry tomatoes and peach chunks. The sauce was nice and refreshing with a little sweetness. The Pappardelle Pasta was ok, and probably my least favorite dish of the night. It wasn't bad, but wasn't on par with the rest of our meal. The thick pasta noodles were al dente, and the sauce was nice and creamy with pieces of green beans. It got better once we mixed the poached egg into the sauce, but still didn't get it to the point where we would order it again. Since it was my fiancé's birthday, she wanted to get one of their desserts served as a small birthday. She saw pictures of their passion fruit coconut cheesecake on Instagram and wanted that, but they changed it where the passion fruit was at the bottom of the cake. I thought it was decent, but not a great dessert. I thought the staff would at least sing happy birthday like other restaurants, but that didn't happen here. Overall, The Little Door is a small romantic stop to have a date night. I don't know if I would consider it a place to celebrate a special occasion though. I think we would come back, but not for anything big. Also, I would recommend using the valet, it's right in front and they only charge $14 pre tip.
