Have been here with the gf for breakfast on multiple occasions. With the classical music on blast, this uniquely designed little shop really seems like it has something for everyone. The food is pretty good, with most of the breakfast specials priced well below $10. The menu is quite expansive, and contains the usual diversified K-town mix of flavors and textures. Its more of a weekend kind of place rather than a M-F kind of spot. By this I mean that the french toast is cake sized, and the waffle is served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.... Not for everyday consumption :-) Haven't checked it out during PM hours, but like most spots in K-town its open past midnight, making it ideal for some late night chillin/studying. read more

Most legit sweet potato latte! Weird how others have had bad experiences here! The servers tending the store are super sweet. A guy brought me a glass of lukewarm water with sliced lemons on the side (without me asking) a while after I was done with my latte. Downside: Price - 7bucks for a small latte. A typical korean coffee shop that also boasts their own flower shop. It's a little odd, but the place is cute as a button and just waiting for a story book romance. Lighting tends to be on the dim side. I don't understand how people study here, but they do. Their pricing is similar to other ktown coffee shops, which means pricier than your typical coffee shop. Hot chocolate is yummy. If you get the pots of herbal tea, it comes out in a really nice setting. They lack good desserts. Tried the honey cake. It was good but only the right spoonfuls. Tried the waffle. This was gross the waffle tasted stale and they should have stuck with vanilla ice cream. The shaved ice is probably the only thing I can recommend. They validate parking in the lot next door, but it's a shorter time if you don't order food. read more

This is one of few coffee/dining spots in ktown wherr i can bring my dog and work on my stuff for hours. Ktown places don't really welcome dogs. More spaces are banning dogs recently for outside patio. Its outdoor area where i sit with my dog is clean & secluded. Their food is decent. Scent is a very cute, cozy coffee house. I recommend their Bingsoo and teas because their cups and dishes are very cute. Chicks dig cute stuff. Tall backed booth seating makes for a more private feel when youre here. The interior is deceptively large, but I normally stick to the front tables but they do have push call buttons available. Bring some friends here, drink some tea and hit a round of golf upstairs at Aroma golfing range. Good times! read more

There's an outside section, a dark restaurant style, and a cafe section. This place sells good food and flower all day long! Flowers? YES! I heard that this place used to be a flower shop and now it's an eatery that sells flowers. And their menus are small photo albums. How original! (: As you can see, in the beginning of this review, I wrote "Honey Bread" three times. Honey Bread is a breakfast item (I believe). Thick slice(?) of bread... three or four inches of love! It's topped with fruits, ice cream, and condensed milk. I become really greedy when I have this in front of me. I don't even know how to attack this beauty! Fork? Knife? Spoon? This cafe is pretty pricey, so make sure you come with a minimum of $10 for YOURSELF! I recommend you bring $20. Nom nom nom! read more

Recently, I went with a friend of mine to study because she really likes this cafe and recommended it. The workers were efficient and amiable, parking was easy, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food was awesome. Some say that it is overpriced, but don't listen to them. We had the Korean shaved ice and the Rose Pasta, and both were delicious and plentiful in size. This is a café, but the menu ranges from dinner pastas to lunch salads to frappes, so it's good for all parts of the day, for whatever you're feeling. The place is also beautifully decorated--love the flowers--with very nice and friendly staff. I'll definitely be visiting here again--especially with friends! There's a lot of space with very large, spacious tables, and it's clearly made for large parties, but is still great for a nice dinner for two. read more

I think this place is so cute! It's a cafe/flower shop so there's flowers all around~ They have huge funky fur seatings, which I like, and it feel really cozy and intimate here. The prices are your typical ktown cafe fare, and none of the items are anything to RAVE about, but it's still good. They have some stuff on the mnu that I've never heard of like squash which are different flavored carbonated soda esque drinks and alcohol free mojitos, which kinda defeats the purpose of mojitos. They have food too. So far I've tried the ddukbbokggi and honey toast. I was suprised at how good the ddukbbokggi was. I was expecting Honey toast to taste like brick toast from guppy's, but it just really tasted like hot bread with honey and ice cream... It was still good nonetheless. Service here is pretty amazing. Esp. this one unni who I guess recognized our faces and was really friendly and cheery to us~ The menu itself is really cute here too. They use cute mini photo albums. A cute, intimate little cafe in K-Town, right next to a fancy health club/indoor golf range that doubles as a flower shop apparently.... I like the ambiance inside. Dimly lit, with heavy dark furniture, velvet couched booths, I think, and comfy chairs in the middle island for the serious laptop workers. The tea and desserts are ok. I really came more for the study environment and for that reason alone it serve its purpose quite well. Parking is a little challenging during peak hours -- you've got to find a spot on the street somewhere. Strangely enough, despite supposedly being a florist as well, they use fake flowers on their tables -- and there isn't the scent of flowers in the cafe, as I had hoped....:( read more

When I walked into Cafe Scent, it reminded me of a scene from a Korean drama. This place is a major mood setter. With that said, it's infested with couples! The decor is fancy and well-designed. I totally dug it. There are 2 parts to this place. One side is a cafe and the other is a cafe/flower shop. They're interconnected so if one side is full, they direct people to the other side. No big difference though. Each side has a long table that people can take their laptops to study. I came here to study once and was really productive for once. In my opinion, the hazelnut latte was not sweet enough. I'm not a coffee drinker though, so I may be biased. The gogoma (sweet potato) latte was good! I can never get over how accurately it tastes like sweet potato. The prices are typical Ktown cafe prices. Around 6 bucks for a drink. I'd say it's worth it though. Def comin back! read more

Wow, talk about being ZEN! This place is a little hidden, but the quality of the drinks and food is exquisite! Their lattes definitely has a "wow" factor, but to get the "wow" factor, you are paying for the price. I came here to do some work while my husband studies and the general ambiance when you walk in is so soothing! It seems like it would make a great first date place! I would think it's pretty romantic! They even have 2 separate rooms!! One for music and leisure time and the other for no music quiet time. Say what?! I've never experienced a cafe like this before. Wow "Hyunjoo" instructor is amazing!! She is the owner of cafescent for over 10 yrs and instructs the floral arrangement lessons at her beautiful cafe! I just got 1hr 30 mins lesson w/ her today. When I first got there, she kindly put away my purse in safe place and offered me coffee. (Loved the vanilla latte~ ) she is so generous and love her floral work! She actually takes lessons herself from Korea to follow up the trends and purchases all her materials from Korea!! Her flowers are specially fresh delivered also. Different quality from what you expect by other local flower shops in the area. THE BEST!! I've received flowers as a gift from this shop several times and fell in love with them~ nicely wrapped... color coordination. added beautiful finishing touch. Absolutely recommend for who loves flowers, who wants to gift flower to someone special (you can specially design yourself!!) , who wants to learn how to nicely arrange yourself for your home to brighten up + lovely scent, or office centerpiece to give an inviting feeling for your clients. I had such a great time here. The atmosphere is great for groups since there are booths where parties can have some private time. I noticed the store has a back part with additional tables next to the flower booth, which gives it a good view whenever. The food here is also great, especially their hamburger steak!! This review is coming a month since my visit. That's got to tell you something about this place. It's been a month, and I'm still thinking about it! Although I'm from the Bay Area, I've had a lot of papbingsu. (There aren't very many places up here that serve papbingsu.) In my years of scarfing down Korean shaved ice, Cafe Scent is the first place that has made the last bite of papbingsu as good as the first. So good! So good. Aside from the delicious shaved ice, the service was pretty good. My friend and I were seated promptly, and received our orders in a timely manner. The only critique I have for the cafe is that their menu could be more detailed. Next time I'm in the L.A. area, I'm stopping in at Cafe Scent for more papbingsu! read more

Overpriced like every other Ktown cafes out there. Went with a friend of mine during the late afternoon and it was almost empty (another table occupied near us). I ordered a strawberry peach smoothie and it was waaaaay too syrupy. I feel like they didn't even put a hint of fresh fruit in there. I drank half of it and left it. You can tell they put a lot syrup just by the way it looks after you leave the drink alone. Overall just blegh. Service was OK nothing bad but nothing great about it either. read more

Went there for a meeting and we order 2 cups of tea. WORST customer service!!! This place needs to clean and update their business. What I don't understand is that they charge you $0.35 per parking ticket validation. We take business to this location, but we end up paying portion of parking?? Very disappointed of this location. This review is solely based on the dessert and coffee. Honey toast is so so so amazing and their cappuccinos are perfect with it. A go to spot for a classy, relaxing dessert with a couple close friends or boyfriend/girlfriend. A bit pricey but it's worth it every once and a while. read more
