After a long day of work, I stopped by calif chicken cafe but unfortunately I wasn't able to select my favorite roasted potatoes. When I arrived i spoke to the cashier Astrid and told her I couldn't order the roasted potatoes. Recently visited this place and fell in love with their salads and wraps. You have to order ahead or walk up to order and I love how quick and easy it was to order and get my food. I decided to check out the northridge location since the Encino one can get a little crazy. You can't go wrong with CA Chicken Cafe. The food was delicious and l probably waited less than 10 min. I got a veggie wrap and honestly used a Cesar dressing instead and it was too good!! I also ordered some of their fresh lemonade, I highly recommend the lemonade.I was helped by Bridget. She was on it and got me out of there asap. What I was not expecting was this location is crazier than encino. It's located in a huge plaza. And there's plenty of spaces a little further away.the spaces right on front are usually good, but people are waiting for you. Seems like this location like Encino is always busy. Staff is constantly taking orders, running the to go orders out and checking in with those who are parked. I would recommend parking a little further away and walking up. It'll be easier to exit(that's what I'll do next time) Great good! Amazing staff! Will be coming back! read more

The chicken is cooked well when you order it juicy. If you order a whole chicken it will take 10 minutes extra added to your order. It is on the pricier side. Especially when everything is Al La Carte. The green goddess salad is a good portion enough for two if you are not a big eater. I like how every topping is placed on different areas and not mixed in. The veggie soup side is yummy, it taste healthy and not hearty. There is no inside nor outside dining. It is all to go orders. Parking can be tricky as it is in a busy plaza near CSUN. They have an app in which you can order from them pull up into curbside parking otherwise you can order in person. I like that the utensils given are more Earth conscious. read more

CCC. I use to go to you all the time while I was at CSUN. Having not had my wrap fix in 5+ years I stopped by for some lunch today. While tasty I'm sad to say I had a pretty comical order from you today. So I got the Primavera wrap. But I do love those crispy noodles in some of your other salads. I was excited to add them in the online order for a steal at .25 cents to my wrap to give it some crunch. Well turns out you need to work on some process improvement. Because while my order clearly said Chinese Noodles. What printed out on the order form was just Noodles. And guess what you also serve Pasta! So guess what ended up in my wrap. A ton of pasta noodles. It was the exact opposite of what I wanted. No crunch at all, all soft noodles. Let me tell you pita and noodles don't exactly mix. So maybe you can update the description on your program that prints out the order. The chicken was still delicious by my wrap today was a disappointment. read more

To start with this is not a sit down restaurant. So to make life easy order online to avoid any waiting. Also this parking lot has more speed bumps then needed so go slow. All items are sold individually The chicken can be ordered dry or juicy keep in mine chicken will cook a bit on the drive home. Swung by here for lunch. Was thrown off when we found out it was just a pick up and go. The young lady that took our order was very sweet and offered us some water while we waited for our food. We ordered a couple of chicken wraps and a Chinese Chicken Salad. Loved the salad... very fresh... lots of shredded chicken, onion, carrots, lettuce and more. The chicken wraps were great too. California Chicken Cafe has always been one of my favorite places but the last few times, there has been a couple of small issues. However, I still love it! There dine area has been closed for awhile which means right now is to go only. It's hard to know for sure if the order is correct with to go orders because they tie the bag closed and it's hard to open and check while you are there. I ordered two salads. The California Salad and The Chinese Chicken Salad. I made a note to pass both salads with dressing but only one of them is tossed. The Chinese Chicken Salad is also supposed to come with mandarin oranges on top and there was zero of them. There's also an option to have a free two oz dressing on the side which they did not include. I recommend to double check your to go orders ahead of time before you leave to resolve some of these issues. They have two curb side parking spots in the front where the staff will bring you your order. read more
