Light lunch here Sunday - delightful. In Naples for a little shopping at Waterside. Nice spot, plenty of dining opportunities in addition to shopping. Valet parking available as well - who knew. Perhaps they don't walk in Naples. But I digress... Nice location; dine in or out or at the bar. We sat outside. You need a good 20 minutes to digest the menu - perhaps too many options. We had a "power bowl" that was quite good. (Trying build our dark green antioxidant intake.) A Caesar Salad that hit the spot and a small garlic chicken pizza that was absolutely delicious. Melt in your mouth crust; great balance of flavors that married extremely well. The service was friendly and well intentioned, if a bit slow. But never a problem. Nice, relaxed ambiance. We only wound up there because of waiting forever without service at Brio. We were greeted right away and went to a booth. Our server came over right away and suggested a pizza based on my requirements which was delicious. My friend got sangria and a 1/2 salad that was huge. Great service and food. read more

We have never been to a CPK and our son wanted pizza. He enjoyed it very much. We shared the Avocado Club Roll which was delicious. Service was stellar with Kristal. She was very attentive and helpful. Terrific job! I had the Shrimp Scampi Zucchini Fettuccine. It is a lighter dish but was not seasoned with garlic and lemon, which make a scampi sauce, light or not with the oil or butter. Salt might have helped a little but still not the dish as described in the menu. Thanks though and we will give it another visit for the Valentines special for two. Thanks Kristal! This California Pizza Kitchen is great. It can get pretty busy during the evenings around 6pm, but if you come right when they open for lunch like we did at 11am- the restaurant is all yours. CPK is very family friendly. They have a kid's menu and crayons for your kids to draw with. Food comes out fairly quickly and service is always good. My favorite dish remains kung pao spaghetti with shrimp, while the kids love the fusilli pasta with butter. Definitely a fan especially as I have two young kids in tow. read more

Went for lunch last week. The service was just ok. We tried the sangria flight- yummy. I also ordered a regular sangria from one of the flight choices. From there everything was just MEH. My friend ordered the Salmon & asked for it to be cooked med, not med well. The server made a point to say it had to be cooked to a temp that I can only assume was well. I never would have thought that, but apparently, it has been an issue. My friend said ok, but if it is dry, I won't eat it & I will send it back. We had the spicy cauliflower appetizer. It was ok, it looked like it sat under the heat lamp a little longer than it should bc the dressing (ranch) was hot & baked in. Still ok however. I ordered the garlic chicken & vegetables. Veggies were great chicken really dry on the inside:(! The salmon came and when my friend cut it, it truly was dry. I wish I had taken a photo, as you would be able to see, this was not how salmon should be served. If they truly need to cook it med well, they should just put in a dish, not as an entree- just my opinion. She sent it back & we just ate my chicken. We did order the $5 take & bake pizza. I asked for cauliflower crust, but received the regular crust:(! The service again, not bad, but just ok. Of course I would go back- it is a chain restaurant & food is always a hit or miss. My experience​ at California Pizza Kitchen was absolutely stunning. The food was phenomonal- I recommend the crispy mac and cheese as an appetizer. The pizza was delicious and doughy as well and this was one of the only places I've​ seen with cauliflower crust as an option. The waiter (Daniel) was extremely attentive and very great at his job. The only thing that wasn't great was that a fly was annoying us while we dined. read more

This place is pretty good. The pizzas are great, they have stellar gluten free options for those that are either intolerant or allergic to it. The service is friendly which is highly important to me. The food is superb. The prices are what you would expect so no surprises there. The atmosphere is good, not too noisy but also not too quiet. I went to have lunch with one of my employees today and the restaurant was busy, they were on a 10-20 minute wait so we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender got our drinks almost immediately but then she got very busy. I felt bad bc she was the only one behind the bar and was clearly in the weeds. We grabbed a hosts attention to request bread bc we couldn't get out bartender. I think the hostess forgot though bc our salads finally arrived. The person who ran the salads out didn't pay attention and brought the wrong salad for one of us, this was at least corrected quickly. Not the kind of experience I expect from a chain like California pizza kitchen. Very disappointing! read more

Yes, there's one in Boca. And yes, a trip to Naples isn't complete for my our without a trip here...due in large part to the Waterside Shops Location, the Apple Store, the fountains, Barnes and Noble, etc., etc. This trip didn't disappoint. Our daughter loved her pint-sized pepperoni pizza and grooved on the nachos/spinach dip appetizer. (Although - my wife pointed out the nachos were absolutely stale. While we'd been on the road for hours, we devoured them without complaint because the dip was the saving grace). More importantly both the new quinoa salad and the peach green salad were out of this world. We ordered to smaller portions of these and delighted in their preparation and freshness. For a mid afternoon Sunday, there were hardly any patrons, and while we had an incredibly friendly server - she wasn't able to get out of her own way to provide timely and attentive service. The service and staleness of the chips are the reasons why I'm listing this as an "A-OK" 3 start review. It's been higher in the past and I'm prepared to certainly review it again soon. read more

Suggested by a friend kept it very simple. Half cheese half pepperoni pizza and a ceaser salad between myself and two others. The pizza was good and salad was salad if I'm in the area I'm sure California Pizza Kitchen will be a fine choice to dine. Very clean and attentive service. I always try to change up what dish I'll be getting and everything I've had has been pretty good. My two favorites by far though would have to be the Tortilla soup and the Split Pea and Barley soup as well. As you can tell I am a soup person. But their pizza are great too. For dessert we never fail to get the Butter Cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Definitely recommend it. Overall I think price is reasonable, food is delicious and service is great. read more

Walked out. Waited for a very long time while tables around us that came in after and ordered the same food got theirs well ahead of us. While waiting, the servers where pounding down pizza in the kitchen eating over the food ingredients - this grossed us out, still didn't have our food - threw $10 on the table for the drinks and left.... read more

I am a well-established fan of the CPK chain of restaurants. As you yelpers know, the appropriate rating for my review would therefore be 4 stars. I was compelled to review this particular CPK not to tell you about my favorite dishes here like the tortilla soup, the Waldorf Salad or the Spinach and Artichoke thin-crust pizza. But instead, to express my disappointment with the level of service my family and I experienced today. We came in to the CPK at the Waterside Shops to celebrate along with 5 other members of my family. There was no wait.... until we arrived. There were no tables for six available at the moment. Normally, one would expect to receive an estimate of how long the wait will be for a table. Not today. The staff instead, felt it necessary to explain to us that there were other customers that were done eating dinner and that were sitting at their table talking. We were informed that she could not give us an estimate of how long the wait would be. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I asked again. The staff again repeated the same story. I really don't care to hear staff commenting negatively on other parties in their restaurant. I just want to know how long we are going to have to wait!!! I then asked her to tell me how long she believed it would take for the second table that could accommodate our party to become available. She said, about another 20 minutes. Wow!?! Was that so difficult now? I think I just helped two of the CPK staff go through a lesson called Hosting 101!!! Grrrrr!! read more

Came in on weekday in summer a hour before closing. The service was great. Servers were super friendly and fast. Food and portions were on par, really good. And the price was fair. Not too spendy but not super cheap. Overall a great restaurant and would return again in the future. read more

Absolutely awful. The Roasted Garlic chicken was over cooked and as tough as leather. The vegetables were burned black. Flies were buzzing on the windowsill at the table we were sitting. I asked the waitress for a damp towel to wipe off the dead ones from the windowsill and she handed me a dry napkin. read more

My family and I enjoy the pizza here, and the family atmosphere is delightful. My wife enjoys the salad and shrimp pizza, and my kids adore the thin crust pepperoni and onion pizza. We sit in booths and at the bar area sometimes, and service is quick at both areas of this establishment. If you want a fabulous family restaurant for some great eats, CPK has it. The appetizers here were great too....we did nachos last time and loved the freshness of everything. read more

Not sure where to begin. We were a party of 6 service was slow they were kind of busy perhaps understaffed. Our server took our order and forgot our salads I told her when our entrees arrived to cancel our salads and she said 'oh so you don't want it now ' Our drinks were refilled once and she dropped the check while we were still eating and tried to take our food away while we were still eating and did not offer us the dessert menu. I called 2 weeks in advance for 25 people as it was my last homecoming and wanted to have a nice dinner with my friends. I spoke to one of the 5 managers when I called and I was told I had a secure reservation for my party. The night of, I arrived one hour prior to my set reservation time to check in. At that time, the manager working had talked to me and said that he did not have seating for my party. Nervous about what everyone was going to eat, my party arrived and we were back at the door at my reserved time ready to be seated. Long story short, after waiting an hour my party and I decided to leave as they said they could not seat us unitl hours later. I was very disappointed with the service I received. The pizza menu is extensive and unusual. I like trying new interesting combinations but I think from now on, when it comes to pizza, I will go with what I know. I had the Tostada Pizza (12.89). My husband had the Jamaican Jerk Pizza (13.79). We would not order either one again. The combinations were too odd. The draft beer was expensive at $4.79. read more

This was a terrible experience from start to finish. Our waitress was slow, then slower and never actually made it back to our table to deliver the check after a LONG painful dinner. We had to stop multiple servers to get her back to our table after the food was finally served. We made the mistake of ordering salads, which were not fresh. Lesson learned, stick to the pizza. Then, what we believe was a manager finally cashed us out so we could leave, and never asked us how our experience was. Very disappointing. read more

I'm honestly very disappointed with my visit. I called 3 days ahead to attempt to make a reservation. I was told that I couldn't but I could make a reservation 30 minutes ahead of the time I'd be arriving. However, the manager assured me that a party of my size would be easily able to be seated at the time and day I was planning on dining. I then called 30 minutes before my arrival. When I got there, the manager informed me that calling 30 minutes ahead did not actually reserve a table but simply notified the restaurant that we would be arriving and I would have to wait another 30 minutes. That would have been a great thing to inform me of on the phone. After voicing my concerns to the manager, he proceeded to rudely argue with me and ended the conversation with threats to make my party wait longer. My large party was forced to wait outside in freezing weather. On a positive note, the server was wonderful and very helpful. I would also like to include that as my party was walking out, one of the waitresses pointed at my group and asked the manager if we were "the party." I guess the manager could not help but to talk poorly and gossip about my group like a teenage girl. His attitude was terrible and overwhelming. I will never be coming back to this restaurant and strongly advise everyone else not to dine here unless they would like to receive snarky attitude from the manager. read more
