Campania is one of my favorite spots in town whenever we are wanting something that feels a little more special. We usually come here for occasions like birthdays or anniversaries because the atmosphere is romantic, elegant, and a bit more formal than other restaurants. It definitely has that "fancy night out" feel without completely breaking the bank. It's also a fantastic venue for events. They have a private dining room that can be reserved, which makes it perfect for surprise parties. They also have a beautiful enclosed garden patio that I've seen used for shower events because of how spacious it is. And if you're hosting a really large party, you could easily take over the whole patio area. The food menu has a lot of great options, so there's something for everyone, and their specialty cocktails are so good. Honestly, they can be a little dangerous because they taste amazing and hide the alcohol so well that you might find yourself ordering more than you planned. Another bonus is the parking situation. It's actually pretty decent and not nearly as stressful as some other restaurants around town. read more

A big part of the restaurant is the bar. We came on a Saturday afternoon was happy to see they have some happy hour items (but it's only limited to $2 off pizza & $1 off beers for those that enjoy a weekend drink). Walked in for a late lunch and was greeted by friendly staff. The restaurant was nice, and clean. At lunch it was very chill and laid back, but you could easily dress up for date night and not feel out of place. Now let's talk food. We ordered a variety of things to share including the fresh mozzarella and sun dried tomato pesto bruschetta , pear and butter leaf salad, prosciutto grilled cheese, chicken Milanese and the angus burger. The bruschetta was amazing, and I don't like tomatoes . It was fresh and so delicious. The tomato pesto was acidic and paired well with the arugula and balsamic. I could eat this all day everyday. Next we had the pear and butter leaf salad. It was crispy butter leaf lettuce with strawberries, blue cheese crumbles, candied pecans and a poppy seed dressing. Also phenomenal, I didn't order it with protein but it would have been amazing with grilled chicken. It was sweet and salty and crunchy... my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The prosciutto grilled cheese was made with sourdough bread. It was toasted to perfection. It was as buttery and a little salty thanks to the prosciutto which made it pair well with the tomato bisque. The soup was hot and full of flavor, like a warm hug to your insides. It came with a house salad but we subbed for French fries. The angus burger was cooked to a perfect medium with bacon and Carmelized onions, I ordered the fries which were crispy and just the perfect amount of salt. The chicken Milanese was tasty, but it left me wanting more, it would have been perfection with some pasta or maybe mashed potatoes.. give me all the carbs! The lemon caper sauce was so good I wanted more to dip my bread in. After all that we still needed to try dessert! We ordered the trio of desserts and we were presently surprised. They were full size desserts! The Creme brûlée was perfectly cooked with a hard sugar shell. The lava cake wasn't as sweet as it looked, think dark chocolate, but don't let that discourage you, it was so die for topped with whipped cream and fruit. Lastly I as the bread pudding. I'm not a fan of soggy desserts but this one was good. It wasn't soggy, tasted like a thicker apricot cobbler. I would definitely order it again. The only issue we encountered was we left stuffed! Meh. I usually order the ribeye in person. Decided to treat myself but felt like fat slob fresh out of the Gulag ready to hot drop into Verdansk. So I ordered it for delivery. Medium rare ribeye. It arrived and came with potatoes slices and brussel sprouts with a wattery sauce. I thought I remembered it being a little thicker. Also the steak I'm assuming from being transported with a cover on, made it lose its crispy texture and become a little more cooked. This is my first time here with my in laws celebrating my sister in law's 35th birthday. We arrived at 10am for our reservation and were seated after about 5 mins. We went for a birthday brunch at Campagnia's with a group of 14, having made reservations well in advance. At the end of the meal, the server brought one combined bill for the entire table. We let her know that we needed the bill separated into 2 singles and the rest couples. She told us that they could only provide up to four checks per table, set the bill down, and said, "I'm just going to leave this right here," before walking away. It left us in an awkward position trying to sort out multiple tabs on our own cards. In my opinion, it would have been helpful if this policy had been mentioned when making the reservation for a large group. We requested further assistance, and the staff did eventually split the checks as needed, but the whole situation made the end of the celebration stressful. The dress code was listed as Business Casual, but during our visit we noticed a guest wearing sweats and a hoodie, so it didn't seem consistently enforced. We've brought many people here over the years and it has always been one of our favorites. However, after this experience, our whole group felt that it really took away from the celebration, and we've decided we won't be returning. read more

This is our favorite restaurant to celebrate all occasions. We've been here for anniversaries, Valentines Day, Thanksgiving dinner, and just a fun night out. Each time the service is consistent and the wait staff are very nice. The food is phenomenal. My husband usually gets the barbecue pizza which he loves and I get spaghetti. Came for a work luncheon. When they do group parties they have a smaller limited menu to make things go smoothly and faster. We were provided with two appetizers, some chili glazed breaded shrimp and a chicken quesadilla with guacamole and sour cream on the side. We were also provided rolls. I have been going to campagnias for years and will always say they have the best brunch in the CV. Ive been to many spots and they really do an amazing taco for lunch, incredible NY steak for dinner, and the bar is one of the best. They all look like theyre having fun with the customers and make everyone feel like youve known them for years. The way they serve you and the environment is excellent. When i see the 1 star reviews, it's usually customers who are entitled and think they own the spot. Ive seen some of these customers yell at staff and the staff tries their best to accommodate but you cant help the helpless. I would say to ignore the one star reviews as entitled karens and go try the restaurant yourself. I usually don't write reviews this low but our experience was disappointing. We had reservations at 7 pm and when we arrived, the host told us that our table is ready but they were just going to finish up setting it and will call us back shortly. 30 minutes later, one of the servers told us that our table wasn't quite ready yet. He informed us that we could either sit outside by the heater or sit by the bar because it could take another 30 - 45 minutes before a table will be ready. I get cold easily and it was a cold night so we opted for the bar. When we walked to the bar, there was a table for two available. Hmm... Why was this table given to us as we were the only party of 2 waiting for a table. At the bar seating, it was loud, busy as people were getting drinks but we were shortly forgotten after being seated. I had to flag down a server as we had been waiting for another 15-20 just to place our order. Seats were very wobbly and uncomfortable. Food was only okay. We got the ahi seared tuna appetizer, pasta, and halibut entrees. We did enjoy the seared tuna and pasta but halibut was overcooked and dry. Our table setting upon arrival was set with a beautiful arrangement of flowers and decorated to the "T' for our special birthday event. Brianne even went a step further by addressing a birthday wish on the menu, another thoughtful gesture. Our server, Audrey, was charming and her service was impeccable making for a smooth enjoyable dinner. She immediately brought the appetizers Crisp Fried Calamari with a dipping sauce and prawns with an orange-tarragon sauce that were superb to the palate. I ordered the Pan Roasted Halibut with Asparagus Risotto. I have never been a fan of Risotto but the preparation of this dish was absolutely mouth watering delicious. I am going out of my typical review to say this is one of my all-time favorite meals here in Fresno/ Clovis. My wife had the Grilled Salmon and rice pilaf topped with a berry guava salsa that I took a bite of and was also impressed. We paired the meal with a bottle of J. Lohr Riverstone Chardonnay that balanced well with the Seafood and not to acidic. We will certainly be returning sooner than later. What a great Dining experience. read more

I went here around 6:30 PM on a Saturday night. The place was busy, and I was very glad I made a reservation. Despite being busy, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The environment is warm, and this is just a really great date location. My date ordered the angel hair pasta with shrimp. My goodness, it is delicious! Their pasta is absolutely wonderful. This was cooked to perfection, the sauce was light and flavorful, and the shrimp was delicately cooked without being overdone. The short ribs had a few problems. My major complaint with a short ribs, was the toughness of the meat. I still needed a knife to eat the short ribs. When short rib is cooked perfectly, you really don't need that. Additionally, part of the short rib was dry. I wonder if I just got the piece that was sticking up out of the broth. The broth/sauce had a wonderfully rich wine flavor. The mashed potatoes were perfect and creamy, and the veggies still had a little bit of crisp to them. The last time I was here they used to serve some sort of spiced oil for dipping your bread, I'm very disappointed that it was not served when we went. I remember that being absolutely delicious. Overall, this place is just wonderful. I love the atmosphere, the people are always friendly, and the food is pretty good. read more

This place is gorgeous inside and out. Arrived at 11:30 on a Friday for a party of 4 and were sat down immediately. There were a lot of college graduation celebrations happening. We saw at least 5 large parties of 10+. But the service was still on point! Lunch prices were not too shabby for such a nice environment to dine in. Yelp had a free bruschetta for check-in with purchase of 2 entrees. Yay, Yelp!! We ordered a lot of food! I started with a hot coffee, we got the free bruschetta, the bread basket rolls and an appetizer of calamari. My main meal was the pear and bacon pizza. For dessert we ordered 3 to share; the chocolate molten cake, the apricot bread pudding and the chocolate ganache. Everything tasted wonderful and met my expectations.
