One thing to be aware of is there prices. The menu list a totally different. We ordered the lunch special orange chicken the menu list the price at $15, we were bill $19. The same thing applied to all our other items. When we asked about the price, the lady said they had a price increase however, she didn't know when the price increase occurred. Terrible experience Friday night. Came in and the place wasn't that busy. Dingy setting and you could tell everybody wasn't happy. Service was a problem right out of the gate and after 15 minutes I had no water. The people in our party had already ordered by the time I got there and the food came out and didn't look great. Checked Yelp and found they had 3.5 stars. I don't eat at anyplace that has less than 4 stars. Decided then and there I would go to Ruth's Chris and left. Ordered takeout; expectations were modest given it's a shopping mall restaurant. Food was ok. But the lettuce wraps came with one partial piece of cooked lettuce. There was enough filling for 4-5 "wraps", but nothing to wrap them in. The mu-shu pork had no pancakes and no plum sauce. Maybe these people don't like wrapping things? Only had five small broccoli heads, sliver of carrot, and few pieces of Napa cabbage. Pork was sliced in small pieces, tasted like it was dipped in cornstarch then fried. It was Ok. Totally unimpressed. We ordered on DoorDash and the restaurant didn't give us all of our order. When I called the guy that got on the phone said he put them in after I said he didn't and basically said I was lying. And then they wanted me to come pick up a remake, and they crossed them off on the receipt like they put them in. There is a reason I ordered online. Ive been here two separate times, once in 2024 and once more recently (Jan 2025) and the cleanliness of the dishware remains to be huge flaw of this establishment. Almost all plates and glassware have food residue from improper cleaning. My father in law's glass cup had lipstick residue from the previous customer. We had to ask for new dishes several times and they were only replaced by plates at other tables. While the waitresses were friendly, there were no apologies for the dirty dishes. The Hot and Sour soup here is amazing! I didnt get a picture of it. Very flavorful with meat in it. The fried rice is very gold also. The Egg Foo Yung is alright. Too much batter. Very disappointing evening at Canton Bistro. I have been there many times before and always enjoyed the food and service. This weekend, something was off. The food wasn't as good as before. Not only my dish (Lo-Mein) but my wife's Kung-Pao chicken looked nothing like Kung Pao. And another friend complained about her dish as well. I've always had good food from here over the years. Enjoy their lunch specials. Service has been good. Get take out from time to time too.

The food was meh but the service was unsatisfactory . I had to literally flag the waitress down for soy sauce. My husband asked for chili oil and instead of saying they didn't have any, she brings chili paste which he hates. she never returned one time to ask if we wanted more drinks, dessert or anything. Another word of advice, don't just give extra attention to the non minorities. Shitty service, no tip. we will not be returning. we'll stick with Palm Tree Palace. read more

I have previously eaten at this restaurant and ordered takeout and I have always enjoyed my food except for today. I ordered orange chicken, combo lo mein and other plates. The lo mein shrimp had a strong odor and the noodles were overcooked. The orange chicken was also overcooked. I asked for chili paste and I am not sure if they gave me a used one or what but it was mixed with something else. Drinks are weak, food quality went down. Server missed all the happy hour special prices and charged me full price. (Which is probably an honest mistake) but after tasting the food we decided not to eat it. We took it home and at home nobody could eat it either. I think they got new cooks or there's one man back in the kitchen doing it all because it took forever to get anything.
