Not sure why I've never been here sooner. I've had dim sum all over the place and since this was a bigger name, didn't think to come because it might be overpriced but I would say they are fairly priced especially in today's market. - glazed bbq pork buns 5/5 - shumai 4/5 - beef noodle roll 5/5 - turnip cake 5/5 - red chicken feet 4/5 - almond puff dessert 5/5 (so happy that they have this to go) - baked mochi dumpling 5/5 Plenty of parking in Plaza but make it busy around Peak lunch hours

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 This is one of my favorites dim sum restaurants. Their dishes are always fresh, come on fast and delicious. I have tried multiple dishes and nothing to complain. Plenty of parking spaces available.

I live really close to this restaurant and my family and I have been coming here for years. We came here for dinner last night and the place was semi empty... Maybe because it was a Thursday. The resttairsnt had a beautiful main dining room. The lighting is bright and decor kind of feels like a hotel restaurant but it's not. The food though was consistently delicious. The Honey Walnut Shrimp is so light and crispy with huge prawn. The beef tenderloin was really good. The braised pork belly was so tender and flavorful. My all time favorite though was the green beans, so garlicky and delicious.

I usually come on a weekday. There's not too many people, but it's not completely empty either. Tables of all sizes and fast service. Picture menu of all the small dimsum dishes and a paper menu to mark down your order. Look at the back to find larger plate items like fried noodles. Pricing is okay, food is good, and free parking in the lot. No traditional push cart on weekday lunches.

Place looks nice and clean. Servers have problems with what we wanted. They pretend to understand but gave us a wrong order. Food seemed to taste all the same.

Another review but this time for their dimsum. They have dim sum available daily but only up to 2:30 pm so me and the boys went here for a Sunday brunch a couple of weeks ago. We arrived around 11 and waited for probably about 15-20 mins for a table for 3. There are larger groups waiting but if you're a smaller group I think it's easier to get seated fast because they have booth seating in one area of the restaurant. So they don't have carts but occasionally someone comes with assorted tray of dishes you can pick off of the tray. Otherwise you are given a menu with the pictures and number and you order from the server. I loved the steamed pork dumplings because I don't accidentally poke the soup out of the dumplings since they have that little foil container. My kids loved their pork buns. The pork shu mai was huge so it was very filling. I thought we need to order more but it was enough for us. Price points are anywhere between $6-8 per dish. Mia was our server and even though there's a lot of groups waiting we never felt rushed.

Capital seafood has an extensive Dim Sum menu with many chicken and shrimp items. Movie items are served in quantities of foursome and quantities of three service was efficient. Food came out hot and it has a very large dining area. The restaurant has its own parking lot and noise level was reasonably quiet. You can have up to four choices of TT as $1.50 per person you can have lunch specials or dim sum.

Always come here for Dim sum with family on weekends. Food is fresh and tasty. They have wide variety of dim sum for brunch or breakfast. This restaurant has family style dinning that includes sharing small plates among the group while drinking tea as part of the meal when serving dim sum. A little bit pricey though compared to other dim sum places in SGV area. Service was nice; they kept refilling for our tea. We received everything that we ordered in timely manner.

Great order off the list service for dim sum, plus a few past trays involving baked and sweet items being passed manually. It's a bustling dim sum tea house, so there will be quite a chatter of noise from all the conversations. We did the 10:30am seating right when it opened which helped a lot because the parking lot fills up really quickly. All the flavors in textures were wonderful, perfectly prepared, and absolutely everything was both appetizing and delicious. Prices for dim sum these days has gone up, so expect to pay 4 to 6 dollars per plate, and 8 to 15 for the larger entrées. A great location being very close to the 210 freeway at Huntington Drive.

We may have caught Capital Seafood in Arcadia at an off hour, as the dim sum menu was wrapping up--so take this with a grain of salt. The highlights were the Taiwanese vermicelli noodles, a pleasantly non-greasy Peking duck, and an almond "tea" with puff pastry that was unexpectedly fantastic. Most other dim sum staples--har gow, siu mai, char siu bao, honey walnut shrimp, and Mongolian beef--were fairly average. Service was hit-or-miss, as is common at dim sum spots--we had to ask multiple times for basics like water. The atmosphere was classic dim sum: bustling, casual, and centered around a lazy Susan.

Went to Capital Seafood in Arcadia on New Year's and luckily didn't have to wait since we came about 30 minutes after opening. It was already super busy, but that's pretty expected for a holiday. Food was good as usual -- consistent and hits the spot every time. Service was about the same as always; since they were slammed, you have to get their attention when you need something, but nothing unexpected. Food came quickly after ordering. The restaurant was clean inside and very spacious, which made it comfortable even with the crowds. Overall, a solid experience and still one of our go-to spots. Will definitely be back again for family gatherings and holidays.

Came here often with family for dim sum. You have to call on servers to get help, but food is good and overall a decent restaurant.

TK Cafe has thoroughly impressed me off first impression, and if I was closer, I'd probably be a regular here. For how much we ordered, the food didn't take too long to come out and genuinely, was so good. We got a lot here, from the garlic shrimp to the popcorn chicken, and so much more. The popcorn chicken was, without a doubt, my favorite item. We originally came here because a friend said they had the best popcorn chicken, and I'd honestly agree. It was crispy but also still a bit juicy and I feel like most places go heavily into the crisp aspect and it ends up just seeming overcooked. But it was a 10/10 here. The proportions are huge, so it's easy to over order. The crab rangoons were good on the portions and crispness and not overly filled with cream cheese which is nice. The noodles were good, pretty average, same with the Mac salad. The garlic shrimp was a bit overly garlic-y, but it was still good. If you're looking for a new Hawaiian spot, definitely check out TK Cafe. The proportions are huge and the taste is amazing. If I'm ever in Monrovia again, I'd definitely be stopping by!

The food is consistently good, honestly better than a lot of nearby places that charge quite a bit more. What won me over right away, though, was the breakfast combo. Two dim sum items and a hot drink for just $14 is a genuinely good deal. A cold drink is only $1 more (typical HK practice), and you can also take your drink to go for another $1, which is a nice little convenience. I'm pretty particular about milk tea, so I don't say this lightly: their half coffee, half milk tea really hits the spot every time. It's balanced, and satisfying. Beyond the combo, they also serve all the comfort staples, porridge, fried chow mein, Chinese donuts, and my personal favorite, rice noodles with a variety of fillings. It delivers the same comforting flavors you want from a casual dim sum-style breakfast, but without the inflated prices, long waits, and hectic atmosphere that have become so common at more traditional dim sum spots. This place is a solid, dependable replacement for the usual dim sum experience. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the service is consistently warm and welcoming. The driveway can be a little tricky. It sits right next to the Taco Bell drive-through exit, separated only by a fire hydrant, so it's easy to miss or get confused when pulling in. But it's a small tradeoff for a spot that delivers this much value and consistency.
