I came here with an old friend after searching for new eating options in the city. It was remarkably quiet inside the restaurant, and it was fairly decent sized. The white staff was very attentive and the food was frankly very good. We started off with calamari, which was very light and fresh without being greasy. I had the lobster, ravioli and my friend had a fish dish. I thought the quality of the ingredients was excellent, and the flavors were dialed in. I'd like to come back and try several different items on the menu.

Welcome Caprizza! I love this location and was excited to see a new restaurant moving into this space. The restaurant is spacious and has a nice little patio, which is so chill on nice days. I chose this place to meet up with my coworkers for meetings, as it is quiet and intimate for lunch. The first time I ordered the Pappardelle con Sugo di Agnello (Lamb Ragu with Pappardelle) and it was so savory and delicious that I have ordered it a couple more times. Another favorite is the Fettuccine Alfredo Con Pollo, this is a favorite of a few of my coworkers and looked delicious. Last time I was there I ordered the Lobster Ravioli and a seasonal salad that had prosciutto wrapped peaches, simply so good. I honestly feel lucky to have this restaurant in the neighborhood, so I can treat myself! Check it out, the service and food are awesome.

I was surprised that I enjoyed the ambiance, food and service at a restaurant at 24th and Potrero, yet I was! My friend had been there twice and raved about the restaurant, so I thought I would try it. Being Italian from the East Coast and the fact that I am Italian American makes me extremely picky. when it comes to Italian food. We were greeted by an extremely friendly waiter and a caring lady who poured us glasses of mineral water, which I love, no charge. He told us the specials and was very accommodating when we ordered. He brought bread with olive oil and vinegar and answered our questions. My friend ordered the steak, potatoes and asked for a garlic and oil spinach, instead of vegetables with a tasty Chardonnay. I ordered chicken parmagiana with spaghetti yet I could change to capellini. We ordered fresh and delicious salads, mine was ceasar, and his was spinach, both delicious. The food was fabulous. Al dente pasta with tender, tasty chicken parmagiana with a lovely tomato sauce. My friend's steak was superb, nice sauce, loved the potatoes and spinach. We were asked how everything was. It was exceptional. I had a cappaciano, no desert, too full. We felt like we were treated as family. A lovely night. Don't hesitate to go. I will be back, for sure.

Recently paid this place a visit and we were told they just opened weeks ago! Came for lunch on a sunny Sunday with the fam, and we were all pretty content with our meal. The server was very attentive and answered all of our questions. I ordered the rigatoni con capesante, and it was delicious. Loved the pasta sauce and the bouncy scallops. 100% would get again. My family also tried the steak, the sole and Caesar salad. Everything was good, I only wish I had tried their tiramisu dessert. Will have to come back!

Loved this place service was excellent food was great and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Would recommend ! Alex out waiter was so kind!

$18 for this? Fettuccine Alfredo con Pollo

Fettuccine con pollo - Flavor was good. I think the price is a little high for the amount of food. Nothing special. Would not get it again.

Caprizza is an outstanding choice for families, especially if you have little ones with specific tastes. My two year old son is quite particular about his meals and is a big fan of fettuccine Alfredo. Food was absolutely delicious creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, just the way he likes it. The atmosphere is welcoming and family friendly, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal.

Tonight, we ordered quite a bit of food, and everything was delicious. We had no issues with the service throughout our meal, left a good tip, and overall had a great dining experience, until the very end. After dinner, we called an Uber and stepped outside when it was getting close to arriving. Unfortunately, our Uber driver cancelled, and it was very cold outside so we went back inside to ask if we could sit and wait at the bar for the next Uber. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored. One server in particular, who was wearing army-print pants, was serving tables near the front where we were standing. She made eye contact with us, looked away, and then began talking about us to the workers behind the bar. At no point did anyone acknowledge us or let us know whether we could wait inside. For the remainder of the time, they avoided eye contact and continued to ignore us until our Uber finally arrived. What made this especially disappointing is that we genuinely love the restaurant and have supported it enough to give gift certificates to our own family. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable, we simply wanted to wait inside for 15 minutes because our rides kept canceling and it was cold outside. Even if the bar wasn't available for us to wait at, a simple "I'm sorry, we can't accommodate that" would have been completely understandable. The food is still excellent, but the way we were treated at the end of the night left a really bad impression. I hope this was an isolated experience because we've otherwise really enjoyed Itria but we will likely not dine here again. It felt really unwelcoming and left a bad taste after paying over $350 + 20%tip for our meal.

The experience began the moment we stepped into the restaurant in San Francisco, where she personally greeted and cared for her guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Bruschetta was the perfect appetizer, a delicious, soft bread and fresh flavors of tomato, garlic and basil. For the entrée, I highly recommend Luisa's famous gnocchi with pesto sauce. Unlike the typical flour-heavy gnocchi, these potato-based dumplings were incredibly light, tender, and practically melted in your mouth while pairing beautifully with the savory pesto. To finish, the Cannoli Alla Siciliana provided the perfect balance of crunch and sweetness, with a hint of chocolate chips. Every dish shows the passion and tradition behind Luisa's cooking, making for a truly memorable dining experience and reflecting the diversity of San Francisco!

Amelia recommended one pasta dish per person in the party, to share family style (which ended up working well for us, since we also got three appetizers, and finished the meal with a small amount of yummy leftovers for tomorrow) so that's what we did, along with the starters... We got the "big juicy meatballs with tomato and pancetta," which were incredible; the bread was delicious and certainly is not just a side to the amazing (definitely juicy) herbed tender meatballs. I'd definitely get this again, along with the grilled zucchini with worm salt and mint, which was so flavorful and tasty. We also got the smokey romano beans with fire roasted tomato, which was also really good but just keep in mind the emphasis on the smokey flavor! It wasn't my cup of tea but that's for sure a personal thing. For pastas, I'd rank them in this order: 1. our favorite was today's lasagna du jour, which was mushroom! So delicious, with a crispy cheesy crust, soft tender interior, and an almost caramelized tomato sauce accompanying. 2. Reginette with pork sugo (meat sauce) and spicy turnip greens was next, which had wonderful flavor with the tomato-based sauce and pieces of pork but if you like it slightly softer texture it might not be for you (same with the fusilli; the go-to preparation is aldente!). 3. Fusilli alla vodka with tomato, calabrian chili, cream, basil, and added garlic butter shrimps; this one's sauce felt a little underwhelming and more watery than creamy, and I'm just now realizing that although the menu said four garlic butter shrimp (an extra $7), we only got three. I think I'd come back for the lasagna and/or to buy the pasta from their expansive stock, cook it a bit longer, and serve it covered in a decadent creamy sauce.

My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and our bartender was very attentive without being overbearing and very knowledgeable--he gave thorough, detailed descriptions and recommendations on the wine list and the food menu (beyond what I would've expected). He even replaced my water and apologized after realizing he poured it to the brim, which really wasn't an issue but I appreciated his correction anyway. We ordered the side of wood grilled corn to start, I ordered the malfadine al limone pasta and my boyfriend ordered the spaghetti pomodoro. The wood grilled corn had a nice char to it and we enjoyed the accompanying sauce and cheese on top; however, based on the menu description I was expecting a little more of a Calabrian chili flavor / kick. The pomodoro was good but nothing to write home about, and the malfadine was a bit of a surprise / the highlight! I enjoyed the curly pasta texture and loved the lightness of the sauce paired with the salt flavor and complexity of the salmon roe on top. We love a good dessert but nothing caught our eye on the menu this time, as we don't prefer the soft, creamy desserts like panna cotta (as opposed to something more tangible like a cannoli). Lastly, we also had the following glasses of wine: Verdecchio, Verdeca, Montepulciano, and the Carignan Blend. As someone that loves crisp white wines with high acidity and minerality, I loved the Verdecchio. The Verdeca was refreshing but too light and not fruit forward enough for my preference. We both liked the Carignan, as we like deeper berry flavors, and the Montepulciano was OK (didn't love but didn't dislike). Would definitely love to come back and try some of the other wine varieties and menu options!
