This is probably the best burger I've had at Carl's Jr. I really liked the diablo sauce but it was not as noticeable on the burger as it was on the fries. I usually only use the drive-thru and they are always professional and get the orders right. They will repeat your order and remind you to check the screen for accuracy. They are always pleasant at the window. I have the app. and it's really easy to use. It helps me save a lot of money. The food is usually hot and fresh. Sometimes the fries are warm but never cold. I have never had a cold or messy burger or chicken sandwich. I really enjoy getting a quick meal from here. read more

We reviewed our order with the cashier 2-3x before paying. It was a to-go order for 4 burgers; 2 fish, 1 beef Western bbq, 1 Star beef. Nothing else. We were the only ones ordering and another party was already eating. So not busy at all. When we got home, found a grilled chicken sandwich instead of the Western BBQ (which we didn't order at the bottom of the bag) SOAKED in BBQ sauce. The buns were soggy wet in sauce. Lettuce was also wilted from the sauce so everything was falling apart. Home is about 15 min. away so not worth the drive back. The two fish sandwiches tasted like old freezer-burned cardboard "fish". One has a fish bone that I almost swallowed. This has never happened to me at any fast food place with fish sandwiches. The Star beef burger was drenched in mayo so all the vegetables kept slipping out. Ruined everyone's meal and literally left a bad taste. Well I have finally had it with Carls Jr. If I could give it a negative number of stars I would have. Years ago the quality of Carls Jr across the board took a dump. I have even written to Carls Jr corporate to no avail. I hadnt had Carls Jr for over a year because of rotten quality but decided to give it a try to see if things improved. I ordered a double famous star with cheese with bacon. When I took it out of the wrapper water streamed from the burger soaking my plate and part of the bun. I HATE soggy bread so I had to remove it. So after washing the plate so I could put the burger down between bites, I took a couple of bites. The burger had no charbroiled taste, the bacon was limp and seemed like it wasnt even cooked, the tomato was so soggy it disintegrated, the bun was hard and crusty, the cheese was so minimal I didnt even taste it, and the construction of the burger was sloppy. I ordered a Hand breaded bacon Swiss chicken sandwich. The sandwich I received had no bacon or Swiss. Pretty much a discounted spicy chicken sandwich. No one else was in the restaurant so they can't claim they were busy. They just have poor quality in their product. The hint should have been that it was empty. I paid $15 for a Famous Star single Combo with waffle fries, where at the location down the road on La Palma I paid $13 and change for a Famous Star double combo with waffle fries just the other day. Why am I paying more money for less food than the same restaurant, both in Anaheim, one exit down the freeway? And the food was only mildly warm at 1pm. Waste of money. I almost never go here. I hate their ads. I also hate that all the things I love about Carl's are long gone. Today however it was my husbands turn to pick. I love love Carl's Jr for fast food burger. I work at night, 12 hour shift and for breakfast I love to devour MEAT! BURGER! I go to Carl's Jr drive through and get my breakfast before going home. Their ingredients are fresh even early in the morning and less line than McDonalds. Their burgers are waaaay bigger, too, than other fast food restaurants. Plus, I use their coupons all the time and get buy one get one free burgers, fries, or drinks. Of course I share these with someone. Their menus are better than other also. They have Hawaiian burgers with pineapples and bacon. They also have this vegan or plant base burger. It's called beyond burger which Im not really fan of. I don't visit this location (or any Carl's Jr.) often, but when we're making a pit stop or taking a detour from the 91 this is our stop. The staff is amazing here. They're friendly and very helpful. They really go out of the way to greet customers and they know how to give good service. The food is great, it comes out hot and fast. I really loved the new Sourdough Star. I credit the staff, I think they fact that they are more mature, there's not a bunch of teenagers working here who don't care about customer service. I am very impressed with the level of customer service I received today. I didn't get her name, but she was definitely a manager. She went above and beyond! I went during the busy lunch hour and even with all the customers, she still took the time to listen to my requests to have my kids meals be made after I was done eating. This location disappointing. We get the wrong food (we check before we drive away now), the "large" fries are always half filled and the service is unfriendly. My $6 thicker burger was pretty BAD. I couldn't eat it. I actually threw it away. I just got home from drive through order and sat down with the family to eat our burgers. Mine was down right bad. It was rubbery, dry and definitely Not Charbroiled. It didn't have any Char marks anywhere and in fact it had what appeared to be round indentations but No char broil affects. The other 3 burgers were charbroiled as I was able to see the char marks. Also I ordered 1 of the burgers with only Ketchup and pickles, well it literally only had 1 slice of pickle.
