Wow! What a gem we found in Dallas! As Brazilians, we're always looking for Brazilian food every city we visit in the US. And this time, we stumbled upon Casa Pollastro, a traditional galeteria gaúcha "rodízio" style (you can have as many of the dishes as you'd like! From the appetizers to the main course and then dessert, all dishes are delicious! The homemade bread, fried polenta and cheese and honey were the best appetizers in my opinion. For the main course, we had the traditional galeto (rotisserie chicken) - super well seasoned and tender. As for the pastas, you've got cannelloni, ravioli (the guava filled one was my favorite!), spaghetti. A great variety! And to top it off, the desserts were sooo delicious! You should definitely ask for pudim (Brazilian flan) and the passion fruit mousse. And last, but not least, service is A++! Such a welcoming and friendly environment - we couldn't have asked for a better service. I'll be sure to come back next time I'm visiting Dallas! read more

The dishes were hit or miss for me but the ones that were good were really good. The restaurant was really busy but we went on a Saturday night. The restaurant itself was clean and well lit. The all you can eat aspect is really nice but we didn't take advantage of it because there were so many plates to sample. Took a group of 5 to this new Brazilian Concept restaurant last night. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside warm and inviting. The staff were gracious and attentive. We all started with cocktails. Very well made. Great wine list. Then the food immediately started coming. That is my only complaint . We all felt rushed because they were bringing the food so fast. I know their intentions were to provide excellent service but it was just to rushed. Especially on a Friday Night when you want to relax and enjoy the evening with Friends. The food however was absolutely delicious. The tortellini soup with hand made pasta and a rich satisfying broth was perfect. Courses came out so fast we barely got to enjoy them. I don't like that. The staff and kitchen needs to slow down and not be so over zealous . Cheese, Salad and Polenta were all so so good. The Polenta served 2 ways was the perfect crunch. Cheese grilled and served with Honey was melt in your mouth greatness. Salad fresh fresh fresh with a Dijon Vinaigrette which was nice to cut the richness of the Cheese and Polenta. They also had these little fried pieces of bliss they call Cheese Balls. That might be the Stand out of the night. But then the Pasta and Chicken started coming out and before I knew it the table was so full it was overwhelming. All the Pasta's were-hand made delicate light and Sauce was beautiful. Chicken was absolutely delicious. We especially loved the Piri Piri which we fell in love with while visiting Portugal last year. Brazilian food has a lot of Portugal influence. The desserts came out just as fast. Table was cleared and boom dessert course. It wasn't because they were trying to turn tables it wasn't packed or even that crowded it was just really rushed service. Please slow down. We even ask them 2 or 3 times to slow down. Dessert was delicious. Flan, Chocolate and Passion Fruit Mousse. All so velvety smooth. We really can't wait to go back. I would be giving a 5 but the rushed service really impacted our overall experience. The wait staff was fantastic, the owner came out and spoke to us and we loved everything. Next time I hope it will be a slower progression of food coming out so you can actually enjoy each course and appreciate the love and effort that each dish is. read more

Was super excited to try this because of tiktok and instagram and while the experience was cool with all the food you get for only 35 a person, the food was mediocre and only had few good plates. Service wasn't that great and our server did not look happy to serve us. Before we could ask our waiter for a togo box, they quickly took our plate - feels like a lot of food waste. We were told we could get as many things as we want as it was all you can order but when we got dessert, I wanted to get a pasta to go but we were denied because they already gave us dessert. This was my first time at Casa Pollastro. I had a large birthday dinner party there over the weekend and the experience was awful. I had a 7:30 reservation and the establishment didn't close until 9:00p.m. The service was rushed. We couldn't truly enjoy the dining experience nor the food as the server was snatching full plates of food off of the table before we could partake. When we asked for water of any form of hospitality, it was done begrudgingly. Our table's tab came to well over $600, with gratuity built in as of the party size.....but do be honest ...he deserved NOTHING!! Oh, and let me not forget to mention that a lot of the pasta that they were serving was cold as it reached the table and you had 2.5 seconds to eat it, before they removed it. This place is a hard no for me. I will continue to patronize Fogo de Chao, where the service is superb, and the food is divine. read more

Our first time at Casa Pollastro on 7/18/24. Very impressed with both the service and the food quality. The variety of the fixed menu was amazing and very tasty. This is not all one of the Brazilian steakhouses we are all used to seeing (Fogo...). It is a family owned biz and their Italian and South Brazilian roots play nicely off each other in the food. They say everything is made on site, incl. raising their own chicken and I believe it. The chicken was amazing as were the pasta dishes and the bread and spreads. So many side dishes were little gems, e.g. the cheeze dipped in honey. We had to pace ourselves to not over eat early so we could savor everything down to the last desert and we took the rest home. Today was our second visit. First time was a couple months back and made my wife an instant fan. Today went to celebrate mother's day with some family and I think everyone enjoyed even the grandkids. Wow, this place is an 11/10. EVERYTHING was FRESH AND HOMEMADE. I came here with my family for my cousins birthday and I have to say I was amazed and will absolutely be coming back for any special occasion or even just a date night. The staff was soooo attentive and made our table feel very special and welcome. Be prepared because there is a LOT of food that will be brought to your table, I'm not complaining about that though it was quite wonderful just warning everyone else you will not leave here hungry haha. The food was absolutely delicious, what I really enjoyed about this restaurant is that they bring plenty of different variations of things to try, they bring several different kinds of pastas and you are bound to like at least 4/5 I personally liked all of them but there were a few that I just couldn't stop thinking about because they were just the perfect flavor for my taste buds. The food was delicious and i was surprised at how fast all courses come. They don't skip a beat when replacing the courses that are finished- absolutely incredible. All food can be requested again at no charge unless you order off their extra foods list! Ohhh and the drinks, are strong - thank goodness you get what you pay for. The restaurant is very well put together. Don't forget they have coffee!! The only things i would change would be the booth seating as it's really not comfortable and the tile reflection in the men's bathroom. Went there the other night with a friend. Although everyone was very friendly, I was confused as to why the waiter couldn't tell me about any of the dishes. I was also confused as to why we didn't receive all that came with the all you can eat. I had to ask and match each dish with the menu and the missing items were shrugged off like no big deal. I've never been and wanted to try everything, so I expected the waiter to ensure it all came without me having to take inventory. The bussers were friendly as well, but the language barrier was an issue when trying to get refills of the plates. The hostess was extremely nice. Very pleasant woman. read more

This family owned Brazilian steakhouse was spectacular! We did make reservations for my daughter's 5th birthday, so we were seated as soon as we entered. The menu was already in the table but the server also went over the entire menu to let us know what to expect. After getting our drinks food was immediately brought out. First was bread and soup. The soup was great and the pasta in the broth was a tortellini pasta, yum! The bread came with garlic butter, Sun dried tomato paste and eggplant tapenade which was in my opinion the best of the 3; and I've never had eggplant because it's never looked appealing to me, but i could have eaten that all night. Next was the pastas and different variations of fried cheese, chicken and they came around with prime rib several times that night since it was Thanksgiving.
