Updated review - have made multiple visits since they opened. Food is still wonderful here. The pasta dishes and appetizers get me filled up before the chicken or the picanha show up. Dessert trio is always something to look forward to. This time came on Valentine's Day and I will say that we felt a bit rushed as far as service goes. It felt like they were a bit too eager to get folks in and out. Regardless will return again.

The place was beautiful! Service was great and the ambiance was peaceful. The food was super yummy and the lunch menu was only $20 a person!

Came here for a holiday luncheon/gift exchange and we all had an amazing time! It's easy to park, we were seated immediately, and the customer service was great! It's an all you can eat style for a set price of $39.99 - you can also order any drinks you may like. I ordered a strawberry caipirinha and it was delicious! For food, we started with bread with multiple dips, salad, and chicken soup - that transitioned to the various meats (chicken, steak) and pastas. I really enjoyed the traditional chicken and bolognese pasta - they were my favorites! We ended it off with multiple desserts and I liked the fudge mousse. Overall, it was a good experience especially if you're able to eat a lot of food! Try it out!

Found this place from Strictly Dumpling YouTube blog and decided to take a long drive from Mansfield. This was such a unique concept for a churriscaria and fresh Italian. The food was amazing and just kept coming. I was so engrossed with the food I forgot to take pictures of the meat and pastas we had. All of the food including the desserts are phenomenal. My favorite meat was the flamed grilled taste of the piccana and the 12 hr Charcoal chicken. The food was fresh and we love the house made pastas. The flan was some of the best we've had around and the dense texture is exactly how I like my flan. We had two orders of the flan and the passionfruit mousse. The service was impeccable and we definitely plan to drive the hour again soon.

Five star experience very attentive & kind staff. So much food! It's too bad our other server slipped & fell, so he had to leave to attend to his injury. Please invest in some nonslip rug runners for the safety of your workers & patrons.

We decided to try this reading after reading the reviews. It's Brazillian and Italian. They serve you bread, appetizer, salad and soup before they start offering the meats. Appetizers was good especially the grilled cheese with honey & fried pollenta ( ithink) . The soup was pretty good too. I enjoyed the pasta selection. I like how they give you small portions so I was able to taste everything and not get too full on carbs. I especially like the 4 cheese pasta. The meat served was just okay. Picanha was tough despite us having it medium rare. Not too much option on the meats. We knew that going in but to have the the Picanha tough is just sad. The Fraldinha was okay. Overall, the quality did not satisfy us. We are more meat lovers than pasta lovers. The desserts, the flan and passion fruit were okay. The red wine with tapioca pearls I will avoid next time. Service and Ambiance was good.

My wife recommended this place. This place is an all you can eat, but they come and serve you the food. We ended up eating all of the menu items, but just remember it is just a taste test of most. Here is what you are served first 1. Bread with three spreads (herb butter, sun-dried tomato and eggplant tapenade 2. Sopa de Capeletti - chicken broth soup with some food that looks like tortellini 3. Salad Arrangement - wanted more of this 4. Potato Salad - I enjoyed this 5. Queijo Assado com Mel - cheese with honey - this one was alright, they took this one away fast before we finished 6. Polenta frita - definitely like 7. Bolinha de Queijo - fried pepper jack cheese - eat this when hot, but not cold 8. Half of a chicken - dark meat was moist, but the white meat was dry After all of these eight are served, the servers will have a bowl of pasta or a meat platter. 1. Guava Ravioli - this is one of my favorite, but sometimes they undercooked it as it was hard 2. Picanha - this one the meat is dry and tough would not recommend 3. Fraldinha - this one was cooked to perfection 4. Maccheroni al Rose Bolognese - this one was alright 5. Garlic chicken - this one is very salty 6. Spaghetti ai Quattro formaggi - would recommend, but I ended up getting full 7. Butternut squash ravioli - would recommend this one Dessert I ended up trying all four of them 1. Sagu com Creme - tapioca with the red wine, make sure you ask for this one 2. Mousse de Maracuja - mousse with passion fruit - this is very sour so if you do not like sour do not get this on 3. Brazilian flan- this one is good 4. Moouse de Chocolate - this one is alright The service was top notched that I over tip them. It was an all you can eat for $35 dollars which is definitely worth the money. Would come back here again.

We were staying at a hotel close by for work and saw Casa Pollastro on Yelps Top New Restaurants of 2024! We made a reservation for 15 online, then I called later to update it to 20..but if you have ever traveled with people from work and what it's like to try to make dinner plans, you'll understand that the number changes up until the last minute! So about 15 minutes before our reservation, I called again to update our reservation to 15! They were so friendly and so accommodating each time! Even when we walked in they were there to greet us with big smiles and sat us at our table that was set up and ready for us. The food was great!! The pasta was just okay, and the chicken was a little too salty...but everything else was so delicious and all 15 of us were raving about how great it was!! It is not your traditional rodizio...they do come around with the pasta, and 2 meats...but I was so happy that the picanha was cut in steak bites, every one of them was cooked perfectly and so so delicious! They have booths and a small room, plenty of tables and the ability to host big groups!! It was so nice!

We drive all the way from Austin just to eat here - that's how good they are. Service is top notch, they are so attentive all the time. Huge kudos to Marcelo who made our night extra special. Can't even describe how amazing the food is - from the little appetizers (fried cheese, polenta, sopa de capeletti, bread, potato salad), to the main courses... pastas were always my favorite but now I am addicted to their "galeto" (marinated chicken) which is legit from heaven! I dare to say their galeto is better than what we eat when we are in Brazil. We will continue to drive 3 hours to just eat here because this place is amazing!

I love the concept! So much food and for a great price. Food was good, and each course came quickly after the other. The only real negative was that they sat us and told us who our server would be, but then no one actually came by to take our drink order. We had to flag someone down to order drinks. But outside of that, it's great. Very clean and upscale decor. Decent for families/kids, as long as your kids are well behaved and enjoy new and interesting foods.

It was quite small, just a row of tables straight back from the front. I was looking forward to some good paella, so I ordered the Valencia small size ($20). It was served in a small sizzling skillet, which was harder to manage than a bowl. First of all, the skillet was steaming hot, and was more difficult to eat. It was literally dangerous touching the skillet's rim, which could burn your hand. My first disappointment was that they didn't seem to use yellow Spanish rice, which I consider integral to the dish. I used to make this, and it was a somewhat long process, letting all the ingredients simmer in the pan to ensure the flavor permeated all ingredients. This was served with mussels, shrimp, scallops, and calamari. I opted to have it without the calamari. It was also served without a knife. As some of the mussels were closed, it made them difficult to open without a knife. When I asked for a knife, I was able to wrestle the mussels open, but found that they, along with the shrimp and scallops, had no flavor or taste. Evidently, since it was fast-cooked in the skillet, none of the seasonings flavored the seafood. There was a lime stuck in the middle of the sizzling skillet, which was too hot to squeeze. Also, serving it this way left you to scrape the rice off of the skillet sides. The dish was acceptable, but definitely a far cry from the Spanish or Cuban Paella I love. For that, I will always go to Bulla in Legacy, which is also less expensive. My husband thought he was ordering a Cuban sandwich, and even pointed to it in the menu when ordering. It was the ropa vieja Cuban sandwich. Instead, what he received cost a few dollars more, and was a bowl of hot ropa vieja, along with rice and beans. He said it was good. The dessert of cinnamon sticks in whipped cream atop ice cream was also good, although not outstanding. The single women's restroom was acceptable; although it was unique in being the only eatery anywhere in this area without a purse hook, which made it slightly inconvenient. Although a nice mom and pop small local storefront, we are unlikely to return.

We only saw 2 workers the whole time we were there which made sense with how slow it was. Ordered some drinks and they were not the best. My partner did not enjoy his at all since it was basically just margarita mix. We quickly noticed that the prices on the menu were modified, handwritten new prices with pen on paper than was then taped over the old prices, with many dishes having increased by $5 compared to the prices shown on their website. We get it, inflation has been crazy, but that seemed drastic. The food was fine but in our opinion definitely not worth the increased prices. My dish (Rib Eye) was a good portion size and the flavor was fine, but it didn't blow my mind. The Arroz Poblano was a very sad portion size. Service was very slow throughout our whole visit, which is wild because we were the only ones there. An explanation on the delay between drop ins would've been nice. Sadly it just didn't meet our expectations and I'm not sure we will return. Maybe it was an off day for them, because many other reviews are filled with praise, but as of now we'll just opt for other Latin food spots we know.

The Fogo in Addison continues to hold its own, and decades later it remains the original and one of the best. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Gone is the open pit in the front waiting area, but so is the wait. There previous waiting area is now a massive wine cellar, and luckily on my previous visits for lunch and dinner there was no wait. The majestic salad bar is the center piece of the restaurant and should be admired as you venture to your table. 1 Star. Service - The staff was excellent. Our server even mentioned they were the OG. A few changes (for the better), they'll ask you if you want their sides. I declined so I had more table space (and not wasting food). If they the cut isn't cooked the way you like it, they'll grab another skewer (medium rare, FTW). 1 Star. Food - There are 17 cuts to choose from. Many people love the Picanha, but I am a fan of the bottom sirloin, the ribeye (new), and the lamb chop. The bottom sirloin has a very beefy taste, and the ribeye gives you a great steak flavor. But the lamb chops (only medium rare!) are tender and juicy. New to the list is grilled pineapple. It's warm, sweet, and a perfect palate cleanser (or cheap dessert). But, while Fogo de Chão is the OG, they continue to evolve. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While they are the original, they are not the best. North Texas has many new churrascarias, and in my opinion, the best is Brasão in Irving-Las Colinas. Fogo de Chão still has more locations (Irving, Plano, Dallas), the Addison location is still their best. 1 Star.
