The guys (and gals) at work have been ordering from this place for some time now and I finally got to join in on this work lunch. Was sorta excited for we (I, maybe, cuz, the rest of the office had been eating from here in my absence) never get Italian for lunch. I got Fettuccini in olive oil and garlic sauce + sausage. It was quite disappointing. One of my coworkers walked into the area where I was eating and she said "did someone order plain boiled spaghetti? it smells like when you boil pasta and you are dumping out the water". Unfortunately, there was zero garlic flavor in the pasta and it was very dry. The sausage sorta saved the day. I will give it one more shot some day in the distant future and go with something marinara. Will update review then. read more

Came in for 2 slices of just plain pizza, this is funny because for lunch i had been to a pizza place about 5 mins away and my pizza experience was kind of disappointing. Well, i will say this much, this slice was definitely a better slice when compared to Amore Pizza. It actually tasted like a NY pizza, tomato sauce had good seasoning, cheese was tasty, the dough had a nice chew. Cannot complain. I would go back and try other types of pizza whenever i have time next week. read more

Casabianca is definitely the most consistent pizza restaurant in Hells Kitchen from what I can tell. Their salads are pretty good too, which you can't say about most joints. I usually get either 2 slices of cheese pizza or a whole pie with all the toppings if I want several meals worth. I've always received really good service if I order delivery or do carry out. The employees are friendly and always keep things clean, COVID rules are followed etc. read more

Used to swing by any time I was craving a slice because I'm not a fan of the other place nearby but I will probably never come back. Ordered my same slice of buffalo chicken pizza and despite being reheated from the display trays it was completely gummy and doughy when I brought it home. I ate almost the whole slice because I just thought they were using some new weird cheese and it looked completely cooked at first glance but on closer inspection nope, just severely undercooked, stretchy oily dough, not some flavorless cheese. After letting my coworker coerce me into ordering from here I ended up with some mediocre wings. Im still not sure why I even obliged. Justino's has better food and better prices. I used my debit card and was charged a $1 fee for using my debit card plus tax on my food. You can buy one slice of pizza in Justino's and they wont charge you a fee or tax. This place is tucked around a corner so it looks like a lot of the food just sits there on display. The foot traffic on 10th avenue in front of Justino's is very frequent so all of the food is fresh. So in a nutshell I definitely do not recommend! read more

Ive had better. Both times I visited I was greeted with burnt pizza that you cant fold which is essential to maximize the pizza experience. It actually tasted kind of boring. Far below your average pizza joint. On top of that they charge $1 to pay with a card (I paid cash) which is a fee the merchant s supposed to pay but I guess they feel that your responsibility. read more

The pizza was nice, but just average. It was what you would call, a quick snack... Do not come here and expect you taste buds to have the time of their lives with their pizza. I'm not sure how their other menu items taste... [you should try them and let me know]. The inside appearance was not up to par with Manhattan standards, but it was okay. The workers are friendly. The time that I went, there was only one customer sitting down inside. I get the impression that they are never packed - I could be wrong though. Service is quick as it should be since it's only pizza. The slice and the Snapple was $4.50 total. I am not sure if I will come back here in the near future. I was craving pasta....it was raining....and I am new to the area so I have not gathered a drawer full of menu's yet. This place is less than a block from my place. To be honest ... I did not very have high expectations. I was out of my mind starving and I just needed the quickest hot pasta outlet. Much to my amazement the food was pretty fricken good. They were super fast...cheap..and the portions were super huge. I got baked ziti and the husband got a chicken parm sandwich. The baked ziti was pretty standard...nothing out of the ordinary...but it was humongous and I will have lots of leftovers for tomorrow. Yeah! So...was it amazing food? Not really. The stromboli here is out of this world. The pizza here is decent, but it is the pasta dishes that are surprisingly great. The alfredo, bolognese, parmigiana, etc. are amazing compared to most pizza shops including its competitor around the corner. Only complaint: I wish they were open later. read more

Stopped here because Justino's, which is around the corner, was packed. Casabianca is off the avenue so I think it gets overlooked. When I stepped in I noticed it was very clean. 10 tables or so, so a table should be readily available. I've never ordered anything other than the plain slice. The crust is nice and thin, just how I like it. The sauce is not sweet, its salty and spicy. It's not a very cheesy pizza, it has the perfect amount. The second I bit into it, I realized I had found a hidden gem, 40 feet from Jake's Salooon. I often go for lunch on my lunch period, it's a bit expensive for the broke high school student market, that frequents it, but it's good for the one splurge meal. $7.25 for two slices and a bottle (bottle is only 25c more than the can, good deal.) The pizza really hit the spot if you want a quick no-frills piece of a pizza that comes with a pretty cheap bill. Literally it served its purpose of a good cheap piece of pizza. The place itself was ok although has an odd vibe to it. The pizza didn't look THAT fresh and there was only about 6 pizzas premade to choose slices from which turned out a little greasy. Casabianca is the perfect local pizza joint. I am extremely picky when it comes to pizza, and Casabianca does it just right. Definitely extremely casual, I recommend doing take out, as the ambiance is not the best. My boyfriend and I go so often, that they know our order by heart there. If you love grandma slices, then Casabianca is the place for you. They have the standard grandma slice, plus different specialty grandmas. My favorite is the pizza supreme, which has no tomato sauce but the grandma dough and is topped with various Italian meats. It is seriously amazing, especially when ordered well done. They are the type of pizza joint that will make a completely new pie if they are out of the slice you want, which is the way that it should be. My boyfriend loves their buffalo chicken and pepperoni slice. Their garlic knots are hit or miss. Sometimes amazing with all their garlicky and crispy goodness, and other times much too oily. Their veal francaise and penne alla vodka are great as well for when we want to switch it up. If you are in the area and looking for awesome pizza, I highly recommend Casabianca! They have a cute Italian ices stand there in the spring and summer! read more

Food here is very good, service is usually very good as well. I've done pick up and delivery and have had satisfactory results no matter what option I choose. Only negative is that if you want to pay with a credit card, they charge you a $1 fee which I'm pretty sure is actually illegal in New York State but I'm not going to make a whole commotion over a dollar. If you're just visiting town and want THE BEST slice NYC has to offer, this is by no means that place. But if you want a good slice of pizza that definitely is "NY good" and therefore by default better than every other slice of pizza you can get outside of NY, you'll be happy here. read more

I ordered the eggplant hero and garlic knots. The knots were burnt. The eggplant hero was inedible. The sandwich was extremely sour and soggy -- I could only manage one bite. I ordered shrimp scampi and 5 mini shrimp came on order. Not enough for a small child. The sauce was all over the bag . The container had not been closed properly. The sauce was horrible . The pasta with vodka sauce was like out of a jar. The garlic nots were hard. The bread was soggy from the sauce all over the bag . The slice of pizza was missing half the cheese. I've never been into the actual shop, but I found them on GrubHub.com and they had five stars, so I ordered. The food came pretty quickly, but the delivery guy refused to use the buzzer (which makes me insane since it's right there on the order slip), but whatever. When I opened up all the tins and started eating, the food was alright, not the best, not the worst... Until I found a hair in my chicken. Normally, I would assume that the hair is just mine, but since my hair was pulled tightly back and the color was certainly not mine, I was more than a little grossed out.
