I was happy that they were serving smooth Laughing Dog coffee--a favorite. And the food came out quick and delicious, with a nice crisp on my burrito wrapper. The menu is limited, but what they do they do creatively and well--the quinoa in my burrito went great with the eggs, beans, and sausage, and they told my wife they were experimenting with their already creative pretzel bun sunrise sliders by adding pesto--a perfect extra optional touch for her.

We stopped in for some snacks during the snow fest Parade. Everyone seeming to be happy expect for her. Her offensive comments were totally random and unprovoked. I have lived in Kings Beach for 15 years. I remember when this store used to be the old auto parts store. I will no longer be shopping at Central market because of this employee. Management should get rid of her as it seems she has caused problems before and is not a good fit for their team. There are many reviews about her bad attitude and attacking customers.

So just a couple notes: there's only one person taking orders so the line moves very, very slow. If you are waiting in line, plan your order ahead of time so that when you get up to the front, you're not one of the idiot tourists standing there being a jackass, making it longer for everybody else because they didn't pay attention to the menu board or the pastry case before they got up to the front. That was the most irritating thing about this experience. One group had to bring their whole six kids in (even though they didn't let them order anything) they were just in the way and the people right after them did not plan and took forever to order. So be cognizant of other people around you and pay attention. It will make the entire line move faster. Plenty of seating out front, but not a ton of parking. Planning to try and go back and try some more pastries before I leave this week.

My husband got the burrito it was good but my flaky croissant is over the top delicious! I did like their pistachio donut but the girl ringing up our order recommended me their cronut and I'm so glad she did! I was blown away by it and it wasn't something I would have picked for myself so a big thank you to her! On the way out a caramel brownie caught my eye I missed the first glance I will be back for it!

Also got the hot chocolate which didn't have much chocolate flavor and was very watery/milky.
