I opted for the lavender nimbu pani which was described as a spiced lemonade with a hint of lavender and mint. However, I didn't note any lavender. Okay, first things first: where is the Punjabi hospitality?! the vibe here is actually great. Let's talk about the food and drinks because it was a rollercoaster. The mango lassi? Spot on. Absolutely elite, and much better than a sketchy stuff you get on Pioneer Blvd . I really wanted to love the Kashmiri chai, but unfortunately, it was a bit too watery and definitely not that "McDonald's third-degree burn hot" temperature I need my tea to be. That being said, it still actually tasted like home, so they get points for that! As for the snacks--the masala chips were absolutely happening! But the samosas? Abysmal. Total letdown. Very chocolatey and delicious. I tasted the Chai tea and it tasted exactly how I expected- I'm not a fan of Chai tea. I got the Mango Lassi, which was also rich and creamy. Lots of mango flavor and like a milkshake. My friends used to order this often. It was my first. It was delicious. The table was filthy from the previous guest. They had a plate lots of napkins, water cups and coffee mugs. We moved them to the side so that we had a clean space for when our order to arrives. My daughter and I went and got the kashmiri chai, mango lassi cheesecake and gulab jaman cheesecake. we enjoyed all 3. The mango lassi had a spice in the pulp that I wasn't a fan of but my daughter loved it. It's a very authentic move, as desi people add certain spices to their fruit salads and such. I LOVED the gulab jaman cheesecake it was delicious and perfect. The rose syrup was a beautiful addition. The kashmiri chai was delicious and perfect as well. When I first got there, it wasn't too busy, but a wave of people came in after 1 pm before it died down around 2 pm. The interior is nicely decorated, & I really liked the fun music. The atmosphere was lively & a great spot to catch up with friends. Even though it was a more social spot, I was still able to get some work done with noise-cancelling headphones. I ordered their masala chai, which was good, but I'd like to try some of their other chai options next time. They also offer a wide variety of food items & pastries.
