The salted caramel cold brew and pistachio matcha were actually some of the best drinks I've had in LA, the cold brew was sweet but salty n perfectly layered (I could eat a bowl of just the sweet cold foam) and the pistachio matcha was unlike anything I've ever had, honestly just try it even if you're not crazy about pistachio it'll change your life The pastries were also so good!!! Yikes, $11 for a large strawberry Matcha. While the matcha itself was ok, the strawberry syrup was so sweet and tart at the same time and didn't mix or blend into the matcha at all. It stayed separated no matter how much I tried to mix it. The cold foam did nothing to smooth out the matcha. Very overpriced, not very good. Looked cute though. read more

went to chamberlain coffee and it was so fun and cute! super tiny store, line was outside and we waited in line about 15 minutes (it was 4:45ish on a sunday). i got an iced vanilla chai with oatmilk and the cream top, and it was DELISH. the chai is nice and spicy, def one of the better chais i've had! my friends got an iced vanilla latte and a strawberry matcha with oatmilk. the latte was good, but she did not taste much of the vanilla; not too sweet, solid latte. the matcha has VERY subtle strawberry; it was a super tiny bit, and it was a bit watery but the matcha tastes good. matcha was a 3.5/5, latte was a 4/5, chai was a 4.5/5! i also got a chocolate croissant and it was super good, wish there was an option to warm it up. we ordered a chocolate chip cookie and they gave us a free extra because the one we bought was small. overall great experience! cups are obviously so cute. read more

waited 20-30 min on a friday afternoon around 2/3pm. service was rly nice. they did not have the signature salted pistachio matcha that i wanted to try, but the barista did say they could make something similar with pistachio flavor and cream top. i ended up just trying the signature strawberry matcha, but it was mid. the matcha flavor was lacking and you could add sweetener like honey or maple syrup, but i liked it better without. with the long lines, the mediocre drinks, and for $10 each, i would not come back. read more

I came here on a Monday late morning, early afternoon and it was great! The staff was so friendly and helped with recommendations For drinks and pastries. I got a pistachio latte with whole milk and added cream top. It was a bit pricier than some places but it was delicious! And the strawberry almond croissant was so good! I got a salted pistachio matcha with the cream top for about $12. I know it's LA and that's typically what a drink costs now but honestly this drink was not that good for what you're paying. In my opinion the drink tasted like salty almond milk, no pistachio or matcha flavor present. The ambiance of mall and the cafe is a nice touristy experience so there's that. I also had the miso bread that has a hard sugar top, that was really good I definitely recommend! Also now that the hype has died down the whole experience is really no more than twenty minutes! I haven't tried the other drinks so I'm not sure about the actual coffees, but I feel like there are definitely better cafes in LA still in the same price range if not less! As someone one who loves Matcha, this is hands down the best Matcha drink I have ever tried. Each sip I took made me even more of a fan of the drink! I never leave reviews on Yelp, but the barista who made my drinks was AWFUL, and I'm not even just talking about their coffee making skills. I ordered 3 vanilla lattes, for the first one she forgot to add the SYRUP so she put it in a tiny cup for us to mix in ourselves. I promise you, I did not say anything about it or make a face or anything, just became my own barista, it's cool . BUT, then she forgets my last drink and when I ask her if the drink on the counter is for "my name" she rolls her eyes at me "No this drink is for Natalia." Continued to give me UNWARRANTED attitude for letting her know I hadn't received my last drink. Her rage was so palpable, it was extremely uncomfortable. Went here today with two friends as we wanted to see if Chamberlain Coffee was worth the long lines and hype. My friends stood in line for about 45 minutes before I was able to get there, and noticed that it's very sunny waiting in line until you get to the last two rows to the front door to be able to stand in the shade. The storefront was also smaller than we expected. We also noticed that the matcha is not made fresh from powder every time, and instead made pre-mixed - which we figured was because it would take too long to make fresh for every person considering the lines. Maybe they'll switch to doing it fresh once the hype dies down. Waited for about 25 more minutes before we were able to order - for a total of about an hour. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, and my friends ordered the signature peanut butter mocha and pistachio matcha lattes. Mine came out to about $9.55 with a 15% tip. The workers were nice so I decided to tip. My latte was fine. I don't drink coffee very often, but at the very least the espresso didn't taste overly strong which I prefer. The consensus on the peanut butter mocha was that it wasn't very good -- didn't have much peanut butter flavor and had a watery consistency which was not expected considering oat milk was added and it had a cream top. The pistachio matcha was the better of the two, although the matcha flavor wasn't as prevalent. Overall, we're glad we got a nice outing out of it and were able to cure our curiosity but we concluded we won't be coming back. read more
