I've had this place on my bookmarks since this opened last year and finally made it here with my partner! The food was delicious! We ordered Thai sausage, pad see ew (with beef), and laab (medium spicy). 9/10 - Thai Sausage. Our favorite dish that we ordered. 8/10 - Pad See Ew. It was pretty good however I wish I had asked for it to be cooked spicy. That was my fault. They had a lot of additional side spicy sauces at the table to add though which was my saving grace. The pad see ew was a bit pricy though at around $18 without tax. That seemed high to me. 7.5/10 - Laab. I've definitely had better laab. The color was too bright and light compared to what I'm used to. Seemed like it didn't have as much texture as normal. We also asked for a medium spicy level (5) and it wasn't spicy at all. Top 2 best Thai food I've had in SoCal. We got the Khao soi and this is very hard to come by especially from orange county. Most Thai restaurants don't have it. The portions were huge and shareable. We got the Khao soi, eggrolls and dessert roti with a large Thai tea. The Thai tea was huge and it was so worth it. The resturant had some of the friendliest staff with the most odd hours. They open only for dinner and I'm surprised the hours aren't extended or shifted for the weekends. Delicious Thai food restaurant in Long Beach! The only downside I want to highlight is the parking situation. It's all street parking. During the day, it's not too hard to find a space, but if you go on the weekends or for dinner, it may be a bit more difficult. The second time we visited it was in the afternoon and we were able to get seated right away. The food and service is great! They have a lot of great options and it's actually hard to choose! My family and I got an order of the crab wontons, Kao Soi, pork bbq noodle, and the crispy garlic fish, and pork belly. We loved all of the things we ordered, except the pork belly. The pork belly was good but it was a little too fatty for my taste. Everything else had great taste and none of the spices were too overwhelming. There were 3 of us and it was a lot of food! We recently visit Chiangmai Thailand earlier this year and it was then, when we first learned and discovered about Kao Soi noodle soup in a curry broth with coconut cream. Since our return to the USA, we realized it's not a common dish that is served in most Thai restaurants locally. This is a delayed review of a visit from a month ago. We ordered the eggplant with tofu, tom yum hotpot, yellow curry, and sweet roti. I rate the food somewhere between 3 and 3.5. The eggplant with tofu dish has decent fried tofu. The tofu skin is crispy, which is good. But the tofu size is small, making the inside drier than usual. I think the biggest offender of the eggplant with tofu dish is the sauce; there is way too much soy sauce and fish sauce, making the dish one-dimensional. I wish the Tom Yum hotpot had less fish sauce (or better quality fish sauce) and more seafood essence. Overall, the soup is overpowering in one flavor, and I wish the soup were more balanced. The yellow curry was good. The photos of their noodle soup dishes look excellent. I am a big fan of soup noodles, so I will return to try their dishes.
