This little spot definitely lived up to its reputation The girl at the front who took my order was courteous and extremely helpful, definitely had the down-home, Southern hospitality, local diner vibe that you want at one of these spots. We (my husband, father n law and myself) got takeout due to Covid and let me say I've been craving just a good diner burger and this burger was insanely good I decided on a simple bacon cheeseburger (and decided to try one of the crazy loaded ones next time) but it's probably one of the best burgers diner, gourmet restaurant, or otherwise I've had in the valley and they actually know how to cook medium rare which let's face it, is rare Especially for the price I cannot tell you what a great deal this is and I think it was like a half pound too so definitely shareable. We got it with side of fries with ranch and yes I'll judge a diner on it's ranch dressing and there's was pretty good! We also got the order of meatloaf with mashed potatoes. I was hesitant because I'm definitely a traditional meatloaf girl with a red tomato paste/ketchup sauce and this was served with brown gravy but all three of us were impressed how good it was! ...Normally my husband would've complained that they were too many onions in the mix since they were Visible (had I made it ) but he actually liked it here. Good mashed potatoes too they definitely tasted fresh not instant. We also got a side of chicken tenders with fried okra as we were just getting a combination of comfort food per my father-in-law's request. They were good lightly breaded and still tender juicy on the inside and the honey mustard took me back to 'kids meals' days in a good way and the fried okra took me back to Texas in my happy place Perfectly fried and still soft on the inside. Ya I know a lot of flashbacks happening but that's a good thing right!? And finally the REAL REASON I've been dying to try this place, the carrot cake. Yes it's a little pricey but it's a huge slice and it's worth it because it tastes like homemade with real cream cheese frosting not the nasty bucketed buttercream that grocery stores try to pass off in their bakeries as cream cheese frosting. Also between the three of us we couldn't even finish the one slice do yourself a favor and get it! Decided to give this place a try last night after finding it on the map. I had the French dip, and honestly it was probably the best French dip I've ever had. My daughter had the chili, loved it. My son had biscuits and gravy, polished those off in 2 minutes!!! We loved it so much, we ordered here for dinner again tonight. We all tried something different and we were not disappointed!!! The staff was pretty friendly, seated pretty quickly. The creamer bowl on the table actually had cream in it, gross? No one maintaining these tables apparently. The waitress asked us how our food was like 10 seconds after we got it... We both got the chicken fried steak and overeasy eggs. The eggs and the hash browns were OK. the toast was very dry and the chicken fried steak was literally falling apart. The "steak" had the same consistency as a McDonald's chicken nugget and the skin wouldn't stay on it when you cut it, so you literally had to eat them separately. It gets a two and not a one, only for the environment. But the food was bad, Denny's does it better and I'm not even a fan of Denny's. read more

Desperately was wanting to find a great "diner" now that we have moved to the area. The previous reviews definitely steered us in the right direction. Chané gave us great service and was so much fun to interact with. We opted to try two different burgers at her recommendation. Oh my! Great flavor, cooked perfectly and a very large plate of food. Needless to say we brought some leftovers home. The 50s decor was fun and the place was very clean. Will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu and hopefully Chané will be there too. The food was delicious! I ordered through the grub hub app, it came warm and with plenty of syrup! I will definitely be ordering again. I had the 3 french toast it came with butter and syrup. I was kind of bummed because there was no powder sugar. So it may have never been added or it melted from the heat? There were also no napkins/utensils. Chase's Diner was a fine experience. It's a 1950s-themed diner filled with seniors and families. Three of us came on a Tuesday for lunch and everyone was eating inside but they opened an umbrella at a table outside for us. The staff were friendly and the food was traditional diner fare that tasted fine. The 1950s vibes and music grated on me after a while but it's hard to hold that against the place. I wish the menu was considerably more friendly to those who don't eat meat, but I didn't expect it to be. read more

The exterior intrigued me as that is the era I grew up in. Needless to say I had to try out the atmosphere and food. Both were pleasing. The food was outstanding! and rather plentiful. Ok so the sandwich and fries I had and the sandwich and fries my son had over filled the plate. Excellent! Our waitress was cordial too. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars, is that I thought it was pricey. Two sandwiches, one the cold meatloaf and one philly, both with fries and iced tea, came to almost $27.00 w/o the tip. My review covers breakfast. Looking for a mid-afternoon breakfast the other day and found that Chase's Diner serves all day breakfast which is my go to comfort food. But I'm particular about my surroundings. Have to have a booth and sufficient space between me and the next diner that I don't feel crowded. Also fussy about service. Must be fast and accurate. I ordered standard - eggs, potatoes, bacon, toast and OJ. They got it to me and they got it to me right with good portions. The only thing I would have changed was the OJ. Too sour - try a different brand. I had a book and my server not only was good at what he was doing but he knew the book and the author so we had a pleasant interchange. I will return for breakfast again but additionally I'll try their lunch and dinner. Well done Chase's Diner. read more

I come here often before work and occasionally with family or friends. I prefer it over some of the other local breakfast joints. I haven't had their lunch here yet but the menu looks good. The staff is very friendly and provide quick excellent service. Only complaint I would have is the cell service. I think the building dampens cell service. As soon as I walk outside I get service again but I can't use my phone inside. They have wi-fi but it's restricted so it only helps if I need to text someone. All of my other apps pretty much don't work. read more

I was in the mood for some diner food this weekend, and I remember during that Chase's Diner was still open for take out. I ordered a tuna melt with a side of onion rings, and by the time my husband picked up the food and brought it back home, although it tasted good, it was very soft and mushy from being left in a styrofoam to-go box for all that time. The condensation from the hot food altered the textures of the sandwich, that was supposed to be crispy on the outside, and the onion rings, which were also supposed to be crispy and crunchy. I'm not sure why they didn't wrap the sandwich and the onion rings separately in paper to absorb the moisture? Hopefully, they will read this review and make the necessary changes to their to go packaging to avoid this from happening in the future. read more

My only gripe is as I was at the register to pay, I noticed one of the cooks in the back not wearing their mask as regulations require to be open. Usually leftovers for the night next day due to such large portions. This is a family owned diner that gives back to the community. I decided to give Chase's Diner another try considering the diner hsd been my all time favorite on this side of town for several years. I thought maybe just maybe my last really horrible experience with the food and my not all that great experience with my waitress was just a fluke. That just maybe they had a new cook whi didn't know .what he was doing and just maybe a new waitress whi was new and maybe felt overwhelmed. I know..im coming up with every excuse possible to excuse the really based experience. This time a couple of friends joined me. Rather than sitting in a booth we sat up at the bar. Things started out great. Our server was great. She was very clean, friendly, prompt, attentive but not bothersome, had a personality that will make people want to come back. Unfortunately the food was AWFUL! I played it safe this time and went with a simple omplete. One of my friends chose pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs, the other ordered scrambled eggs with a side of sausage links and wheat toast. Not one of our plates were anything to be desired and none of us are picky eaters... not even close to being picky eaters. There is something wrong with the eggs. All three of us noticed an odd flavor/taste to them immediately. The only thing we could think of was they changed their product to a powdered egg which is gross enough in itself if that's the case. We really don't know considering none of us have ever had powdered eggs. The pancakes also had a sour taste to them. The only item good that we all ordered was the coffee. None if u.s can really say what was making the food taste the way it was but by that evening all three of us were pretty sick with flu like symptoms only none of us had the flu. So disheartening. I was really hoping things would be different this time around. Chase please whatever it is you've changed to your breakfast foods (i don't know if the same has been done to the lunch items) please put it back to normal fresh food items. Came here via Yelp and it was a great find. Prices were somewhat affordable but the portions are big and the food came out fast. Hashbrowns were crispy and good, eggs cooked to perfection, the waffles were crispy and hot. Made to order. French toast was thick and seasoned really good. Pancakes were good if you like pancakes. I did get a slice of carrot cake to go. It apparently takes them 3 hours to make each one and it goes fast so I figured why not try it. Its over $6 a slice but its three layers and the slice covers the bottom of the to go box. The cakes were huge when you walk in. Overall we will come back here when we are in town it was less than $50 for 3 adults and 1 child. read more
