My husband decided to take me out to breakfast. It had been a couple of years since we had eaten here, so he chose this place. I should have looked at my review of this place before I ordered, because I ended up ordering the same thing by mistake. Ugh! I got The Works Skillet again and once again it was just okay. My husband got the skillet with chicken fried chicken. Both of us said the same thing about our meals; we wouldn't order them again. They weren't bad but we've had better skillet dishes! Next time I'll stick with Eggs Benedict.

Combo Special with side of hashbrowns

I tried this place for the first time for breakfast. I ordered the Combo Special and added a side of hashbrowns. I didn't care for the pancakes that much because I've had much better elsewhere. The eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon were good. I would order something else if I were to return. The service by Lisa was great. She was super nice, attentive, and made me feel welcome. It was a typical American diner. There was Beatles stuff everywhere and plenty to look at. There were more than a couple regulars that came in, so they much really like the place.

Such a cute diner! Went here for a date night and really enjoyed it. The servers were all friendly too. Everything tasted great. Not pictured: DRE Melt, Bacon Cheeseburger, Onion Rings and a Chocolate PB Shake

Chase's Diner came to my attention when I saw Yelp friend LaToya B's review. When she mentioned that this is where she takes her mother for breakfast...well I knew this diner had to be a keeper. The ambiance says 50s diner and the place is kept very clean. We were here on a Friday for a late morning breakfast. The place was doing a brisk business. Some of it was due to high school graduation that happened the previous day and some were still celebrating. While we were seated promptly and our drinks were brought to us quickly (I had lemonade while my husband had coffee and orange juice), it took a while for a server to come and take our order. I ordered the "combo breakfast" which consists of: "2 eggs, 2 pancakes and 2 pieces of bacon". I got my eggs fried over easy. My husband ordered the "meat lovers sampler" which consists of: "2 pieces of bacon, a sausage patty and half a ham steak with 2 eggs, hash browns and toast". We both enjoyed our breakfasts. The pancakes were light and fluffy and the eggs were prepared properly. My husband enjoyed his rather filling meal. We will return for breakfast here next time we visit AZ.

Well, I haven't been here in a long time, but we decided to try it again this Wednesday we had their special pancakes and eggs bacon coffee delicious breakfast service was awesome. Pretty cool little 50s diner. It's been around for quite a while. Check it out you love it.

We went in for breakfast around 7am during the weekday. We were seated quickly and provided menus. It was quiet and only 1 other table had people eating. We were able to order coffee while we looked at the menu. There is a lot of different options to select from. Pancakes, waffles, omelettes, burritos, biscuits, skillets, platters, burgers and other types of sandwiches (fish, chicken pork and/or cheese). The Belgium waffles I ordered were warm, toasty and a very filling. I would recommend using fresh strawberries without the syrup since it comes with whip cream. That morning I was in the mood for some pancakes, french toast or waffles and this an excellent choice. The coffee was fresh and we enjoyed our service. The other food items were also enjoyed and we all said we would like to return to try other food items for breakfast. I would like to say thank you to the staff and the individual who helped my sister get her wallet back. She had forgotten her wallet in the morning and didn't notice until late in the afternoon. She was in the process of retracing her steps when she heard a knock on her door. The individual delivered the wallet to her home since she didn't return to the diner through out the day. She was very thankful and we appreciated the kind gesture.

I brought my family to Chase's Diner for Saturday nights desserts and they did not disappoint. The sundae and banana split are both big enough for two people and the ice cream is delicious. I love the 50s vibe and oldies playing in the background. I wish we didn't wait so long to come here!

Alright, my second review in one year. I can feel my Yelp elite coming back to me. So Chandler's grandmother actually recommended this place to me. She's a lovely young lady named Mary. The atmosphere is phenomenal. It's like walking into a Time Machine and you're in a 50s diner. It is perfectly decorated. With an inviting atmosphere. The service was prompt and the seating location was perfect. I would recommend sitting in the juke box side if you. A good jam session while you eat. The menu offers many American classic favorites for breakfast lunch and dinner. I started with a cinnamon roll and coffee before my meal and the icing on the cinnamon roll was the best I ever had! I don't even care what's in it next time I go give me 5 cinnamon rolls to go. Next I had the simple breakfast pancakes bacon and eggs. All perfectly cooked. The check was reasonable and the service was the best I've had. Thank you I look forward to returning for another savory dish.

The food is typically great, but I think it would be a good idea to invest in better takeout containers. I received my delivery this morning only to find the container had melted into the food.

Old school diner, with old school diner ambience. Most mornings, I just want a coffee - the food comes second. At Chase's Diner, you're getting that first cup of coffee with a side of delicious morning breakfast food. The service was great, too! I had the Belgian waffle with a pair of sausages on the side. All was perfectly cooked and satisfying. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend Chase's Diner for that morning coffee fix and a great breakfast! This review is my opinion about this business and you might find that your experience differs from mine. With that said, I highly recommend this business and highly recommend that people visit this business.

This place has a cute 50's diner theme and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was fast and friendly and this is a local, family-owned and operated place so if you want a diner meal, check this place out instead of going to Denny's. If you have a larger party, it may take a while to get seated during busy times. Most of the seating is booths and bar so there are only a couple tables they can put together to seat larger parties.

Is there Gluten Free items/meals for gluten sensitivity?

Hi Anna. Not trying to sound short, but they have an extensive menu. They definitely have GF options but I recommend reviewing the menu (many pictures posted on Yelp of it). Just to be sure it's what you're looking for. Lots of comfort food… Read more

Is there ample seating for weekday brunch-lunch groups of around 10-15 and do they accept reservations for groups of this size? Thanks for any input ?

It's mostly booths so I don't think a group that big would work? It's family owned and everyone is very personable. I'd give them a call and see if they have that ability and would reserve the spot.

We stopped in on a Wednesday around 1 PM expecting it to be quiet... and instead found the place happily buzzing with families, pilots, airport staff, and pilots. First thing you notice? The people. The servers have clearly been there for years, and it shows. They greet regulars by name, remember orders, and make everyone feel like they belong there. That kind of service is rare these days and it sets the tone right away. The space itself is cozy but surprisingly roomy. There's a classic countertop (which I absolutely love), plenty of seating, and even outdoor tables for those beautiful Arizona days when you want sunshine and a side of airplane watching. Being right at the airport adds a fun little bonus -- you can catch planes taking off while you eat. Now let's talk about the food -- because wow. The menu is classic American comfort with a Mediterranean twist, and everything tastes fresh, made-to-order, and high quality. I ordered the mushroom burger, which was perfectly cooked and loaded with flavor. One of my sons went classic with a hamburger topped with bacon -- simple, juicy, and exactly what a great burger should be. My other son ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich, and that one might have stolen the show. Tender, flavorful chicken wrapped up and -- great touch -- stuffed with fries inside. He absolutely loved it. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and every bite tasted like it was made with care. It's the kind of place where the food is excellent, the service is even better, and the atmosphere just makes you want to linger a little longer. Great food. Friendly people. Cozy vibe. Airplanes taking off in the background. Honestly? Amazing. If you're near Chandler Airport, this spot is absolutely worth the stop.

From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. There was a group of servers standing around chatting, and no one acknowledged us for several minutes. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes before a server came over just to offer water and ask about drinks. We placed our drink order, and while the coffee came in a carafe, it wasn't even hot. The rest of the drinks trickled out later. Then it was another 20+ minutes before the server came back to take our food order. We ordered two simple build-your-own breakfasts and an Ultimate Grilled Cheese (no fries), plus two Cobb salads to go. Nothing complicated--yet the food took a long time to come out. During that entire wait, our server never checked on us once. No updates, no refills, nothing. When the food finally arrived, we ate, and again--no check-in, no "how is everything," no refill offers. Eventually, she dropped the check off without a word. We had to remind her about the two Cobb salads we ordered to go. She said they'd be right out, and a couple minutes later they showed up with a revised bill. Before leaving, we checked the salads--and that was the final straw. For $18, they were basically side salads. No cheese, no grilled chicken, no avocado, no croutons, no green onions, and not even any hard boiled eggs--just iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, bacon, and ranch dressing. Completely unacceptable for what's supposed to be a Cobb salad. We waited at the table for about 5 minutes for someone to come back--no one did. So we went up front and stood there another 5 minutes while multiple staff members ignored us, continuing their closing routines. Not a single person asked if we needed help, and our server was nowhere to be found. At that point, we left the salads behind, paid for the rest of the meal, and walked out. Terrible service from start to finish, and the food quality didn't make up for it. We won't be back.

You order at the counter, and then you either get a seat number and choose a seat or wait at the counter for pick up. There was a decent sized menu of bbq options, sides and drinks. The dessert display was filled with what looked to be DELECTABLE goodies! :) (this is what I'd try when I come back, FOR SURE!). I ordered the double meat platter with a half rack of ribs and brisket. The sides were chose were baked beans and Mac and cheese. The platter came with the two rolls, as well. This was to share with one other person. I'd say the ribs were okay, not my favorite! The brisket, on the other hand, had a PERFECT Smokey taste. The Mac and cheese was okay and so were the baked beans (they were super sweet, if that's what you're going for!). Add the regular bbq sauce on the side for dipping and you've got a tasty meal! After dining, we were able to go around the antique shop in the back. It was HUGE! And it kept GOING AND GOING! There was even a hidden (I guess not hidden if you know about it), second hand, vintage clothing store in the very back. I didn't walk out with anything, but it was as worth the window shopping! The exit was through the antique shop near the cash wrap. Overall, the experience was lovely. The food was in the mid range for me, but I'd come back for dessert and the shopping.

So far, we've been able to try different places during each visit. I came across Wildberries while researching breakfast spots and saw that they had good reviews. We were there on a weekday for a late breakfast. The place is popular. While they were doing a brisk business, I can only imagine what it must be like on the weekends. Upon entering, we were immediately seated and greeted. It's clear from looking at their decor and menu (they also serve lunch) that it is a Greek-owned place. They have daily specials written on a portable sign board, and they take it from table to table so diners can see what's on special that day. Our only complaint was that service was very slow. Our server took our order after we looked at the signboard. I ordered a daily breakfast special that consisted of cinnamon French toast, 2 eggs (I chose over easy), and a choice of meat (I chose bacon). My husband ordered Eggs Benedict off the regular menu. It consisted of two poached eggs with Hollandaise sauce and hash browns. To drink, I had lemonade, and my husband had orange juice and coffee. Like all the other customers, we had a long wait for food. It had us wondering if the back of the house was short-staffed. When the food finally came out, we both enjoyed our meals. The cinnamon French toast was so good on its own that I forgot about the syrup that accompanied it. The eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed his Eggs Benedict. Wildberries is in a small strip shopping center, and parking is tight. If you are heading west on Baseline, you have to make a left at the light at S. Ext Street, then a left into the lot.
