    Caesar Salad

We chose this spot mainly due to its location, diverse menu and the fact that it was open on Sundays. While I respect any business that chooses to close on Sundays, I'll say that people need to eat on Sundays as well! If I lived here, sure, I'd be happy to eat at home... but we're traveling and don't have the ability to cook! So kudos to Cheddars for being open. I originally ordered the herbed chicken but our server came back to inform us that they were out of it so I had to switch to something else and I chose lemon pepper chicken. I'm thinking the herbed chicken would have been better, since by its description, it was actual pieces of chicken and the lemon pepper chicken was more of a pressed patty made of breast meat. Not horrible, but not great either. The caesar salad was good - nice fresh lettuce and parmesan (I told them to hold the croutons)... the dressing was heavier than I'd like - if I had to do it over again, I'd get the dressing on the side. The croissants were delicious! Overall, this was a "mission accomplished" type of stop. Nothing fancy or special, but I don't think they are trying to be fancy or special... the servers were friendly and the place was clean. A solid option for someone on the go or someone who just can't or doesn't want to cook at home.

202402161810 Strange. Friday night with no waiting? Well, it is raining. Anyway, we sit quickly & Isaiah brings us Buttered Croissants, nice & warm. The Painkiller is a favorite drink & I'm trying a Maui Margarita with a shot of cactus juice. Mmmm-buddy. One's a tropical delight & the other is a coconut pineapple drink. Look 'em up. The Monte Cristo is a classic favorite. Smoked ham, smoked turkey & cheese, battered & fried, with raspberry preserves & powdered sugar. Boo-ya! Enjoy your meal in low lighting, high booths, funky spinning fans & a big fish aquarium. Clean place, fine foods, good drinks & Isaiah is great.

This is a popular place to eat since it opened in MJ and rightfully so. The wait isn't horrible. You can join the waiting list online by the way. The service is outstanding. The food is delicious. You get all of this for a very fair price as well. The wife and I both had a nice dinner for under $40 before tip. We had to wait all of 2 minutes to be seated. We were immediately greeted by a top notch waiter. They bring out these delicious complimentary sweet croissants that are really more like pastries. The blackened salmon was delicious. The wife loved her meal of pineapple chicken and shrimp. You can't go wrong at Cheddars!

Although our server at Cheddars believes "Kaden" is more superior spelled with a "C", our experience with him was probably the best we've ever had. He was not only attentive and quick to serve, but he was absolutely entertaining throughout the entire evening! My girlfriend and I shared that it was our 8 year anniversary, and he made sure to customize our dessert before it hit the table. His attention to every detail made our anniversary more special than just a night out. We recommend Cheddars, and we highly recommend Caden! Kaden Franco

Food was consistent, and croissants served for free were delicious. Service was definitely below par. Overall just a mediocre spot to eat, but a large menu which would be good for families or large groups.

I've eaten at Cheddar's in Alabama too many times to count, and I'm rarely disappointed. Though it has been a few years since I've been, I'm glad this location did not disappoint. My family always order the New Orleans Pasta, so since this was my boyfriend's first time trying Cheddar's I suggested he try that along with the butter croissants. Both were a hit and he loved it! I ordered the pasta as well and was stuffed after eating everything. We ordered curbside pickup which was an easy process and the food was well packaged. Based on his moans of joy from the pasta, I'm sure we will be back soon!

Not my first time at Cheddar's and probably won't be my last, but this visit was a bit disappointing. I love Country Fried Steak and Cheddar's is one of my favorites when I visit the South. However, this time it was raw in the middle and inedible about halfway through. Luckily I had mashed potatoes and yummy green beans to dig into. I also ordered a Margarita which was OK.BTW it was huge! The first couple tastes were fine but I was done about halfway through. Our server was a sweet girl.

Service was great and the fish was wonderfully cooked. Nice and relaxing too. Great place to visit.

This was our first visit to this Cheddar's location. We entered the restaurant and were seated quickly. Our waiter was friendly and took our drink and appetizer order. Our favorite appetizer at Cheddar's has always been the cheese fries, and these fries had plenty of cheese and bacon. Delicious! Our entrees were the Smokehouse burger with broccoli casserole and the shrimp & chicken tenders. These were both delicious and we had leftovers to bring home. I'm so glad we have this Cheddar's location near us. We look forward to visiting again.

Awkward and slow introduction, great waitress didn't put my number down correctly so no text when our table got ready but got seated quickly when we wondered in after the while. Waitress was timely and friendly yet didn't seem to hear us well but we worked with it. Had a good time looking over the extensive and familiar menu, went with cheese curds to start, one buddy tried the pasta and actually cleared the plate! My friend and I split the full rack of ribs, a bit fattier than others and lacking sauce but tasty and easy to eat. Wonderful to see the fake inflation corporate greed hasn't taken over priced here, also great to see excess food donated to local banks! Cheddar's always makes a good time and pleases everyone.

My order was wrong, but the Spring salad was similar enough to the Our Signature salad that it didn't really matter. The menu is pretty extensive: appetizers of all kinds, salads, bowls, soups, burgers, wraps, pizza, even pan-fried Brussels sprouts! Service was decently fast for a party our size. One guest had to remind the waitstaff about his meal, but after that, it was brought out momentarily. French Onion soup (cup) - the smallest cup of soup I have ever seen, but my daughter found it lacked the deep, rich, meaty flavor synonymous with French Onion soup and left half of it. Fish tacos - fish to tortilla ratio was on point. The fish tacos were well dressed and the cabbage add a nice crunch. This entree was 10x better than those starters. Bam Bam shrimp - had some crispy texture even though covered in the sauce. It was a solid dish and everyone finished it off. Sides- onion rings and fries. These were standard fare. Shrimp scampi flatbread - did not come out hot and quite flabby. We decided the kitchen was having a bad night. The cocktails were fine, so the bartender was having a better night. The service was quite slow but it was a busy night, so understandable as my daughter and I both worked as servers while in college. There is many parking opportunities here as this restaurant is surrounded by other retail stores and restaurants. I included the receipt in my pictures because I want you to know about the "hospitality fee". I find this disturbing practice is increasing. In my opinion, this practice is deceptive. It makes me believe the owners or corporate office is not paying their employees what they are worth. As a former waitress during my younger years, this will only make patrons reduce the waitresses tip if they are not bold enough to have it removed. I did not see this at the time we were finishing up as we were talking and just trying to get out of the restaurant. I did not see it listed on the menu either, although most restaurants that partake in this deception has it listed in very small print somewhere on the menu. I just avoid these restaurants in Vegas - but never thought Mt. Juliet restaurants would adapt such a practice. Lesson learned.

Today I had a server with green hair--she never introduced herself: she's the server with the green hair. This server decided to ignore our table and talk to another table at length about Ireland, Scotland, her fiancé, etc. I had to wait approximately 15 minutes for my drink, which was in part due to the fact that she neglected us. I sat there with my hand raised as if I was in elementary school: the man who cleared away dishes looked at me sympathetically and other servers glanced at her and shook their heads as if this was commonplace for her. When I finally had to audibly say, "Excuse me", she acted as if doing her job was an inconvenience: the eye roll was inappropriate and rude, seeing as how I had to wait for so long. This happened again when we needed sweet tea refills. We were going to order more food to go, but the service made us want to leave: terrible service affects the restaurant's bottom line. I certainly hope this will never happen again and that I can continue to spend money at Darfon's. If not, I don't mind traveling elsewhere.
