First time here and I heard lots of good things. Came with some friends for a late lunch. No wait and we sat right down. The menu options all looked great. I was most impressed with the starters - the spinach dip was delicious as well as the Wisconsin cheese bites and I cannot forget about the star which were the warm/soft/buttery croissants! For my meal, I ordered the ribs and tenders. I got two sides with it. The ribs were good but they were kind of dry. The mashed potatoes that I ordered were just okay, also kind of dry. The broccoli casserole was delicious but I will also say they were a bit dry too. It's like these items were not as fresh as I would expect them to be. Overall the meal was good and I would come back again, I just hope next time all my items are fresh. The place had a nice vibe to it and the staff was nice as well.

Alright, okay.

Was way too cold up in there to be enjoyable. 66 degrees!!!!!...you can always tell when the cooks run the show. Thank God I had a hoodie in the car. So, no refills today, not one in the hour we waited for lunch. No refills ...even though we asked. Old cold coffee, well, lukewarm. And no spoons, neither for the coffee nor the pot pie; even though the waiter said he'd bring them, he never did. Chicken was rubbery. This place sort of sucks. I don't know why my dad likes them, but whatever. Baby Boomers love these places. I would have stopped coming here from the raw chicken I got a couple years back or after fish juice poured out of the fish sticks and the manager tried to normalize it. Umn, no. And I've also found serious fault with the hostess more than once. Zuul like gate keepers. I mean, I like the place, the space. It's got a good aesthetic. And the prices are very reasonable. They just need to do a whole lot better. Like a whole lot better.

The blackened salmon was so flavorful and cooked properly. Our server Ashlyn is attentive and very polite. I will definitely visit again.

I have never been a big fan of Cheddar's. I have only been there twice, but I decided to give it another try after failing to make a decision about dinner options. The restaurant's decor is pretty, it has this huge fans in the ceiling that are in themed with the wood and stone decor. Your meal starts with a complimentary honey butter croissant. For an appetizer, we had the Santa Fe Spinach Dip. We had chicken tenders with fries, coleslaw, and New Orleans Pasta for our meal. My husband liked his pasta. The chicken tenders portion is massive. Similar to Olive Garden, this restaurant has a device on the table where you can play games (for a charge), pay your bill, and call your server. I find this convenient if you don't want to wait for your server. My experience at Cheddar's wasn't bad, however, wasn't impressed. I remembered why I hadn't been there in years. It's not a place I see myself frequenting often, but it might be worth a visit if you're in the mood for some comfort food.

We came here for lunch after shopping nearby and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food. We have been to cheddars before, but never this location. The food was what to be expected, nothing extremely fancy but it was good. We were seated right away and our server was very kind and was able to provide suggestions and answer questions as needed. I would consider returning to this location again, and would recommend it to others as well.

Attempted repair of seat in booth (that got sticky stuff all over my pants!)

Very unfortunate that we assumed all Cheddar's would be good (definitely not this one on Rinehart Rd). The Caesar salad had only the very darkest part of the romaine and mine had all stems. I was not going to ask for another- and I was hoping the reminder of our order would be awesome like the East Colonial & Semoran locations are - but sadly not. The famous broccoli rice casserole was pretty bad at this location for all of us (more like a broccoli cheese soup). I didn't take pictures as I was not going to put out a not so good review hoping it was just a one-off bad day for them, but; as I was getting out of the booth to leave the "repaired" patch on the seat was not fully attached and I had sticky stuff get on the back of my pants pic included

I have been to Cheddar's before in Orlando but we tried this one in Sanford after a day of bar hopping out there. As you walked in the staff greeted us and sat us down. The place did not seem busy at all and it was dimly lit with a whole section for our party. Our waitress was very nice and took our drink and food orders, always asking if we needed anything. Unfortunately for some reason the bar was very slow with making the drinks and the food took a while to come out between our appetizers and entrees. But when the food and drink did arrive they were fantastic! The old fashion with Jim Beam was only $5! Can't beat that and their chicken tenders are always perfect, even the steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked the way I like it. Maybe it was an off night, just wish food and drink preparation was a bit faster.

Love this establishment. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The ribs were tender and easy to chew. The chicken tenders were beautifully cooked and had nice crisp. The cheese bites were awesome. Can't get enough of these croissants with the creamy butter. The restaurant was quiet when we visited.

The Combination of this level of excellence within the establishment, along the creatively effective leadership from the owners, has blessed the community with a powerhouse in the dining industry. Additionally, the availability for on-site private functions and their catering capabilities has led to their exponential growth and now the move to their new larger location. If you are ready to step up your dining experience with a true local hot spot for hospitality and hearty meals, Angels is your place! I personally know customers that order through Door-Dash and Uber Eats to have their food delivered as far away as Geneva, Oviedo, Chuluota and East Orlando. That alone speaks volumes when you consider the increased wait time and expense of such a great delivery distance. Pure Proof of Product Perfection! *10 Out Of 10* Highly Recommended

You order a surprise meal through the app. It was Sunday and they offer a Sunday dinner so I had high hopes for my order of two dinners. One meal was three pieces of jerk chicken along with sides of rice and black eyed peas. The second meal was baked chicken with mashed potatoes and white beans that seemed to be northern. The chicken was freshly prepared and hot and the meals stayed that way until I got home. I liked that the jerk chicken was not too spicy. Definitely full of flavor and the peas and rice was a nice combination. The second meal was a comforting meal. Two dark pieces of chicken and a scoop of mashed with the simmered northern beans. Each meal came with cornbread which probably was my favorite part. I was happy with my meals and definitely would eat here again. I want extra cornbread and to choose another dish from the menu.

We were immediately greeted by an older gentleman who I assume is the owner. He was friendly and chatted with us a few times during while we dined it. Customer service - B. My husband had to wait a good 15 mins for a refill on a cup of coffee while the gentleman was in the back. Food - Ugh. I ordered the Jack - double home fries, onions, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and cheese. My husband ordered the frick frack - large portion of home fries topped with onions, sausage links, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy with cheese. Unfortunately, both are meals were disappointing. Neither dish had onions. I did hear a blender at one point so perhaps they were blended and were not visible. Also, "sausage gravy." I didn't see any meat in my meal. Again, maybe it was blended? The frick frack didn't come with any sausage links as the description on the menu stated. Overall, our experience was very disappointing. It had been years, and I was genuinely excited. Unfortunately, that excitement faded pretty quickly. It was freezing inside, and that's coming from two Floridians who appreciate strong AC. The service started off rough. Our first server seemed irritated from the beginning. Somehow even asking about the soup of the day that was listed on the menu felt like an inconvenience. The whole vibe felt tense. Ordering took forever (to the point we were questioning if they realized we were there), and the food took just as long to come out. My sister was so excited for the hashbrown casserole that she ordered a double portion, which made it even more disappointing when everything came out bland. Truly bland, to the point that neither of us could finish our meals. I was honestly so thrown off by the server's attitude that I forgot to ask for a corn muffin instead of a biscuit, although she did not ask either (which is typical). The only reason this is not a 1-star review is because our server was unexpectedly switched out after we ordered, and the second one was a total night and day difference. The gift shop staff were also beyond sweet and helpful, and the store itself is still fun to browse. They have such a unique selection of treats you do not usually see. I could not resist trying the bubble gum soda and loading up on candy. Overall, not the cozy comfort meal I was hoping for, but the shop and the second server kept it from being a complete loss.

Had to get bloodwork done at 6:30am, so afterwards we were close to here and craving breakfast, so it was a no-brainer to stop in here. Having been born and raised in Mississippi, I am always on the hunt for some good southern homestyle cooking and I for sure found it here. First, everything about the outside and inside of the restaurant reminded me of all the lil mom and pop restaurants I was raised going to. Great nostalgia for me. Now was the food going to live up to what the place looked like?? YES! So I went in craving breakfast and then what did my little eye spy on the menu? An open-faced roast beef sandwich and they service breakfast and lunch all day? Well, yes, please and thank you! Forget brekkie, I went straight for that open-faced roast beef with fried and all of it covered in gravy. OH MY! I'm talking this is the kinda food that (as we say in the Deep South) makes you wanna slap your momma! The bread was piled high with fresh roast beef. The fries were steak fries which are my favorite. The gravy topping everything was just the chef's kiss to set everything off! So many things I want to try on the menu, but I think it's going to be a while before I order anything other than that open-faced roast beef! Hubby had scrambled eggs, toast, hash (his fav brekkie food and he asked for it crispy - they delivered), and breakfast potatoes. He said everything was great and that it's the best hash he's had. I have never been a fan of hash, but I always try it. This has I would definitely eat. It was good. Can't say I'd order it myself because I'm just not a fan, but if this is the breakfast that was served to me, I definitely wouldn't turn my nose up at it. Anyway, two big thumbs up from hubby. Wheelchair friendly. Clean restrooms. Great service from our attentive and sweet server. Food came out very fast. I also much mention the Diet Coke. You know how some are just better from certain fountains? Yes, this was one of those cold fountain Coke's that was just so good. It really hit different. I ordered water as per usual because I try to not drink soda too much, especially while I eat, but hubby mentioned how good it was so, of course I had to try it. He was right. Very good indeed. If you are in the area, don't miss out on this lil restaurant. You will not be disappointed! The only negative thing I can say is they are only open until 3pm on weekdays and only until 2pm on the weekends. Guess that's a good complaint though. LOL Sure wish they were open for dinner too b/c we'd really be eating here a lot!!

Daily specials and soups are available. The service was spot on, def a place to become a regular at! Can't wait to go back and try something else.
