First time here and I heard lots of good things. Came with some friends for a late lunch. No wait and we sat right down. The menu options all looked great. I was most impressed with the starters - the spinach dip was delicious as well as the Wisconsin cheese bites and I cannot forget about the star which were the warm/soft/buttery croissants! For my meal, I ordered the ribs and tenders. I got two sides with it. The ribs were good but they were kind of dry. The mashed potatoes that I ordered were just okay, also kind of dry. The broccoli casserole was delicious but I will also say they were a bit dry too. It's like these items were not as fresh as I would expect them to be. Overall the meal was good and I would come back again, I just hope next time all my items are fresh. The place had a nice vibe to it and the staff was nice as well.

Alright, okay.

Was way too cold up in there to be enjoyable. 66 degrees!!!!!...you can always tell when the cooks run the show. Thank God I had a hoodie in the car. So, no refills today, not one in the hour we waited for lunch. No refills ...even though we asked. Old cold coffee, well, lukewarm. And no spoons, neither for the coffee nor the pot pie; even though the waiter said he'd bring them, he never did. Chicken was rubbery. This place sort of sucks. I don't know why my dad likes them, but whatever. Baby Boomers love these places. I would have stopped coming here from the raw chicken I got a couple years back or after fish juice poured out of the fish sticks and the manager tried to normalize it. Umn, no. And I've also found serious fault with the hostess more than once. Zuul like gate keepers. I mean, I like the place, the space. It's got a good aesthetic. And the prices are very reasonable. They just need to do a whole lot better. Like a whole lot better.

The blackened salmon was so flavorful and cooked properly. Our server Ashlyn is attentive and very polite. I will definitely visit again.

I have never been a big fan of Cheddar's. I have only been there twice, but I decided to give it another try after failing to make a decision about dinner options. The restaurant's decor is pretty, it has this huge fans in the ceiling that are in themed with the wood and stone decor. Your meal starts with a complimentary honey butter croissant. For an appetizer, we had the Santa Fe Spinach Dip. We had chicken tenders with fries, coleslaw, and New Orleans Pasta for our meal. My husband liked his pasta. The chicken tenders portion is massive. Similar to Olive Garden, this restaurant has a device on the table where you can play games (for a charge), pay your bill, and call your server. I find this convenient if you don't want to wait for your server. My experience at Cheddar's wasn't bad, however, wasn't impressed. I remembered why I hadn't been there in years. It's not a place I see myself frequenting often, but it might be worth a visit if you're in the mood for some comfort food.

We came here for lunch after shopping nearby and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food. We have been to cheddars before, but never this location. The food was what to be expected, nothing extremely fancy but it was good. We were seated right away and our server was very kind and was able to provide suggestions and answer questions as needed. I would consider returning to this location again, and would recommend it to others as well.

Attempted repair of seat in booth (that got sticky stuff all over my pants!)

Very unfortunate that we assumed all Cheddar's would be good (definitely not this one on Rinehart Rd). The Caesar salad had only the very darkest part of the romaine and mine had all stems. I was not going to ask for another- and I was hoping the reminder of our order would be awesome like the East Colonial & Semoran locations are - but sadly not. The famous broccoli rice casserole was pretty bad at this location for all of us (more like a broccoli cheese soup). I didn't take pictures as I was not going to put out a not so good review hoping it was just a one-off bad day for them, but; as I was getting out of the booth to leave the "repaired" patch on the seat was not fully attached and I had sticky stuff get on the back of my pants pic included

Today, however, was especially memorable thanks to an amazing young lady who served us. Her name was Heaven, and the name truly fits her perfectly. She provided exceptional service and had such a natural and thoughtful way of communicating with guests. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly easy to connect with, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Her parents must be very proud of her--she is truly remarkable. We pray that she continues to be a blessing to the people God places in her path. And Peach Valley deserves recognition as well for making such a great hire.

The hostess and our server were very pleasant and attentive. Refills were abundant, which I like. I hate it when you wait forever for a second cup of coffee. The food was hot and fresh, and the menu clearly defined which items were gluten-free and vegetarian. The Greek omelet was excellent, with a good proportion of feta cheese. The home fries, not so much. They were greasy and sort of tasteless. The atmosphere is sort of a glorified hall. The ceilings are very high, no carpeting on the floor, so sound bounced everywhere. Decor was meh. Bathroom was very clean. Overall, a really good experience. It's only open for breakfast and lunch, but would be a good option whether for a quick meal or a larger celebration such as a birthday.

Decided to try lunch specials and got the lunch portion Pork Schnitzel with Potato Pancakes and Gurkensalat (fresh cucumber salad with yogurt/sour cream dressing) My companion ordered the Buffalo Sandwich but opted for pork rather than chicken. A surprising choice that turned out to be a very good one! Came with 2 sides, chose fries and red cabbage. We also ordered the cheese spatzle with butter cheese and gruyere. Nice day so we dined outside on the patio. Our server (didn't get his name) was helpful and quick with our beverages and order. Everything came out quickly, hot and fresh. The schnitzel was perfectly fried and tender. The potato pancakes crisp and delicious with applesauce and sour cream toppings! Gurkensalat, fresh slightly crunchy cucumbers in a light creamy dressing. Perfect summer salad! The Buffalo sandwich with pork instead of chicken was amazing! Cooked to tender perfection with just the right amount of buffalo sauce and heat. The grilled pretzel bun with cheese, lettuce and tomato was excellent. The fries were a great companion to the Buffalo sandwich. Red cabbage rounded out the meal adding both color and texture to the lunch. I come to this restaurant every time I visit Sanford as I love German food and the staff here is so friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend Hollerbach's German Restaurant for delicious German Food, great atmosphere and friendly service! Excelent Local Restaurant!

We should up ( 10 people) half over the age of 80. Christy ( the manager) asked us to wait outside in the heat , which we didn't do. She did not offer a chair inside to any of the older people. There were 3 empty table she told us were for other people and there was a line outside. It was a mess. She then told me it was because the World Cup was on. I think this is something they should have mad my mom aware of when she booked the reservation. It was just confusing and chaos. So we left. I thought the whole situation was poorly handled. A very enjoyable dinner…read more Restaurant was neat and clean. The dining room and tables were all tidy. Service once we were seated was prompt and efficient. Our chicken fried steak was tasty. The smothered pork chops were also very good. Both portions were generous. Our meals were very well done. We enjoyed splitting a Coca Cola cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. A sit-down dinner for 2 under $50 including a tip for our server is PDG these days. Especially when compared to a cold flavorless burger and limp fries in a paper bag tossed on a dirty counter by a surly teenager along with a flat soft drink that cost $15 at the popular fast food place right next door. This Sanford Cracker Barrel is well-run with good food at a reasonable price. We'll be back.

It had been years, and I was genuinely excited. Unfortunately, that excitement faded pretty quickly. It was freezing inside, and that's coming from two Floridians who appreciate strong AC. The service started off rough. Our first server seemed irritated from the beginning. Somehow even asking about the soup of the day that was listed on the menu felt like an inconvenience. The whole vibe felt tense. Ordering took forever (to the point we were questioning if they realized we were there), and the food took just as long to come out. My sister was so excited for the hashbrown casserole that she ordered a double portion, which made it even more disappointing when everything came out bland. Truly bland, to the point that neither of us could finish our meals. I was honestly so thrown off by the server's attitude that I forgot to ask for a corn muffin instead of a biscuit, although she did not ask either (which is typical). The only reason this is not a 1-star review is because our server was unexpectedly switched out after we ordered, and the second one was a total night and day difference. The gift shop staff were also beyond sweet and helpful, and the store itself is still fun to browse. They have such a unique selection of treats you do not usually see. I could not resist trying the bubble gum soda and loading up on candy. Overall, not the cozy comfort meal I was hoping for, but the shop and the second server kept it from being a complete loss.

In town on a work trip, my husband, and I decided to try this place out! What a wonderful surprise! From the moment you walked in the eclectic, industrial, modernized, warm, cozy feel welcomes you in. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we knew right away that this place was a find! A wonderful happy hour menu, led us to a full menu of what felt like a farm to table experience. I sadly didn't get to snap a photo of the excellent appetizer buratta, but it was a perfect blend of balsamic tomato and creamy cheese! I am a true foodie, and this was hands-down the best burger I've ever eaten. My husband absolutely loved his shrimp and grits, perfectly cooked and well balanced flavor. Well, I know everyone recommends the chocolate cake, I can't rave enough about the crème brûlée. Do yourself a favor and go out of your way to enjoy a " private chef experience" meal!
