First time here and I heard lots of good things. Came with some friends for a late lunch. No wait and we sat right down. The menu options all looked great. I was most impressed with the starters - the spinach dip was delicious as well as the Wisconsin cheese bites and I cannot forget about the star which were the warm/soft/buttery croissants! For my meal, I ordered the ribs and tenders. I got two sides with it. The ribs were good but they were kind of dry. The mashed potatoes that I ordered were just okay, also kind of dry. The broccoli casserole was delicious but I will also say they were a bit dry too. It's like these items were not as fresh as I would expect them to be. Overall the meal was good and I would come back again, I just hope next time all my items are fresh. The place had a nice vibe to it and the staff was nice as well.

Alright, okay.

Was way too cold up in there to be enjoyable. 66 degrees!!!!!...you can always tell when the cooks run the show. Thank God I had a hoodie in the car. So, no refills today, not one in the hour we waited for lunch. No refills ...even though we asked. Old cold coffee, well, lukewarm. And no spoons, neither for the coffee nor the pot pie; even though the waiter said he'd bring them, he never did. Chicken was rubbery. This place sort of sucks. I don't know why my dad likes them, but whatever. Baby Boomers love these places. I would have stopped coming here from the raw chicken I got a couple years back or after fish juice poured out of the fish sticks and the manager tried to normalize it. Umn, no. And I've also found serious fault with the hostess more than once. Zuul like gate keepers. I mean, I like the place, the space. It's got a good aesthetic. And the prices are very reasonable. They just need to do a whole lot better. Like a whole lot better.

The blackened salmon was so flavorful and cooked properly. Our server Ashlyn is attentive and very polite. I will definitely visit again.

I have never been a big fan of Cheddar's. I have only been there twice, but I decided to give it another try after failing to make a decision about dinner options. The restaurant's decor is pretty, it has this huge fans in the ceiling that are in themed with the wood and stone decor. Your meal starts with a complimentary honey butter croissant. For an appetizer, we had the Santa Fe Spinach Dip. We had chicken tenders with fries, coleslaw, and New Orleans Pasta for our meal. My husband liked his pasta. The chicken tenders portion is massive. Similar to Olive Garden, this restaurant has a device on the table where you can play games (for a charge), pay your bill, and call your server. I find this convenient if you don't want to wait for your server. My experience at Cheddar's wasn't bad, however, wasn't impressed. I remembered why I hadn't been there in years. It's not a place I see myself frequenting often, but it might be worth a visit if you're in the mood for some comfort food.

We came here for lunch after shopping nearby and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food. We have been to cheddars before, but never this location. The food was what to be expected, nothing extremely fancy but it was good. We were seated right away and our server was very kind and was able to provide suggestions and answer questions as needed. I would consider returning to this location again, and would recommend it to others as well.

Attempted repair of seat in booth (that got sticky stuff all over my pants!)

Very unfortunate that we assumed all Cheddar's would be good (definitely not this one on Rinehart Rd). The Caesar salad had only the very darkest part of the romaine and mine had all stems. I was not going to ask for another- and I was hoping the reminder of our order would be awesome like the East Colonial & Semoran locations are - but sadly not. The famous broccoli rice casserole was pretty bad at this location for all of us (more like a broccoli cheese soup). I didn't take pictures as I was not going to put out a not so good review hoping it was just a one-off bad day for them, but; as I was getting out of the booth to leave the "repaired" patch on the seat was not fully attached and I had sticky stuff get on the back of my pants pic included

I have been to Cheddar's before in Orlando but we tried this one in Sanford after a day of bar hopping out there. As you walked in the staff greeted us and sat us down. The place did not seem busy at all and it was dimly lit with a whole section for our party. Our waitress was very nice and took our drink and food orders, always asking if we needed anything. Unfortunately for some reason the bar was very slow with making the drinks and the food took a while to come out between our appetizers and entrees. But when the food and drink did arrive they were fantastic! The old fashion with Jim Beam was only $5! Can't beat that and their chicken tenders are always perfect, even the steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked the way I like it. Maybe it was an off night, just wish food and drink preparation was a bit faster.

Love this establishment. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The ribs were tender and easy to chew. The chicken tenders were beautifully cooked and had nice crisp. The cheese bites were awesome. Can't get enough of these croissants with the creamy butter. The restaurant was quiet when we visited.

While visiting in Sanford, my grandson and I stopped at Miller's Ale House Sports Bar & Restaurant…read more It was late afternoon midweek so there weren't many diners. We were quickly greeted by a smiling hostess and seated. Milker's Ale House is your typical sports bar & restaurant. There are booths, tall top tables and a large bar area for sitting and plenty of large screens placed throughout for watching sports. I ordered the English Pub Fish & Chips and a Samuel Adams while my grandson ordered the Zingers Mountain Melt and a Miller's Light. A short wait and our food arrived. It wasn't blow on it hot, but still warm. My fish and chips were pretty good. The batter wasn't too thick making the fish have a nice little crunch to it. The fries weren't overly cooked, wimpy or greasy. I only took a few bites of the Cole slaw only because it was just a little too dry for my liking. It needed more slaw dressing. The Mountain Melt was massive and could easily feed 2-3 people. I didn't sample it, but it met my grandson approval because he ate most of it. Overall it was a good dining experience. The restaurant was clean, the bathroom was clean and the food was good.

It's a hit and a miss, with maybe 60% good and 40% why did I come here The beers on tap and bartenders make up for when the food is lacking. Nice chill atmosphere, kid friendly at the tables. I haven't personally done lunch in-person but some other patrons at the bar said they do a great job here about being quick as these folks said they only have a 30 minutes lunch. Which I was happy to hear because depending on the day I have between 30-60. Now they did said that was by ordering off of their lunch menu...regular dinner items from the regular menu will take longer. Overall, it's a nice place to come after dinner for some craft beers and maybe an appetizer or dessert.

Lovely Easter Brunch on the Patio…read more We came here for Easter brunch and had a really nice experience. I called about 45 minutes before arriving just to see if there was any chance we could get a table. They mentioned they were only taking reservations that day but were kind enough to squeeze us in for 1:30, which worked out perfectly. Raven was our waitress and she was wonderful. Super welcoming, friendly, and attentive the whole time without ever feeling overbearing. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad and the steak and eggs, and of course we had to order mimosas (two each... because brunch ). Everything came out fresh and tasty. One small personal preference, and this might just be me, but I would have liked the Caesar salad lettuce to be chopped a bit smaller instead of the larger pieces. Not a deal breaker at all, just something I noticed. The steak was cooked well. I wouldn't say it was the best steak I've ever had, but it was definitely good. What really stole the show for me was the chimichurri sauce. I could honestly eat that by itself with the potatoes, it was that good. We sat on the patio and were a little worried it might be too hot, but it was nicely shaded and they have fans going, so it was actually very comfortable. The only time we got a little warm was after our second mimosa... but that might be on us Overall, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

On Saturday's, they do a bottle of champagne for $20 and it wasn't the cheapest stuff in town! Our server was amazingly helpful, gave great recommendations and helped make our visit special. Everything is true farm to table so the menu rotates. But the dishes we had were divine. We split the savory crepe that was an egg crepe with mash potatoes, sausage and a sage brown butter sauce. Other item split were the haute pocket and steak flatbread. You can tell a lot of thought is put into the menu items and blending of flavors. We for sure will return!

It was a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. It felt like others were also coming in for one last visit, which added a bittersweet feeling to the evening. I ordered a pina colada and a pineapple coconut martini. The drinks were perfect. Cold, smooth, and exactly what I remember. I will truly miss the drinks here. They have always been one of the highlights. For food, we ordered beef empanadas, coconut shrimp, and the honey butter crispy chicken sandwich. The empanadas were not quite as good as I remembered. The filling was more soupy than before and did not have the same bold flavor I used to enjoy. The coconut shrimp was solid and consistent. The chicken sandwich tasted like it may have been cooked slightly too long, making it a bit drier than expected. Service was great, especially considering how busy they were. The staff handled the crowd well and remained friendly and attentive throughout the night. While the food was not as memorable as it once was, the experience and the drinks reminded me why this place was special. It is always tough to see a longtime favorite close. A wonderful happy hour menu, led us to a full menu of what felt like a farm to table experience. I sadly didn't get to snap a photo of the excellent appetizer buratta, but it was a perfect blend of balsamic tomato and creamy cheese! I am a true foodie, and this was hands-down the best burger I've ever eaten. My husband absolutely loved his shrimp and grits, perfectly cooked and well balanced flavor.
