I ordered one of their cheap $10 mai tais. Upgraded with another shot of rum for $4 Ordered up a molasses beer, ended up tasting like coffee beer. My island burger was to die for. Our server was on top of things and provided great service. The ambiance tonight was very loud, lots of road noise, lots of loud mouthed people around me.

Not a bad burger, but not the best. The Island burger with pineapple was good, as was their bacon cheeseburger. The fries were just ok. Ok service, a bit slow due to large crowd. Great mai tais. Decorated as you might expect, with Hawaiian and surf decor. TVs were over at the bar area. Waikiki Beach is right across the street.

Great service and fun atmosphere. Like a sports bar vibe. Mahi fish tacos are good. Drinks are really good and fun. Fun place to hang out!

This place is good, the location is ideal and we never had a problem with getting seated quickly, our server Celeste was super sweet and even gave us suggestions of where we get some good local bites! The food is good, I don't think it's crazy impressive but it will not disappoint. I will say the poke nachos were good but a tad salty so maybe asking for not to much of the sauces would be a good thing

Super cool vibes! Friendly staff! Our waitress was awesome! The food was great as well! My wife and I split a burger and fries with each of us getting a smoothie - so good and refreshing! My brother got a huge order of nachos and devoured that real quick! We definitely had an appetite after the plane ride so this place hit the spot!

We stopped in for a couple of cocktails after dinner at another location. It was packed. We were lucky to find a seat at the bar. Lucky for me, it was also sunset. This location is PRIME for sunset. I did cross the street to grab a couple of pictures. Our drinks were good, service was quick and friendly.

Fun, cool environment. Fast service. Server was friendly. Food just okay. Fish tacos way too salty. Mahi mahi sandwich good. Burgers juicy but feel overpriced for what you get. Paying for the experience. Update: Went to Lulus for dinner last night and the burgers were so much better!

We stopped by Cheeseburger in Paradise located at 2500 Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki Beach Honolulu. Admittedly the happy hour Bloody Mary's for $7 drew us in but unfortunately they were underwhelming to say the least. The bloody mix was watered down or something and it wasn't very good, but I suppose that you get what you pay for... We didn't order anything else but we might return to try some of the food offerings. 2.5 stars rounded up to 3.

There's truly something here for everyone! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. Gary (the assistant manager) and Brooklyn (our server) were absolutely incredible--both went above and beyond to make sure our family was taken care of the entire time. When we were trying to snap a photo, Camden kindly stepped in and offered to take it for us, which meant so much and gave us a perfect memory to take home. The service alone would bring us back, but the food made it unforgettable. The coconut shrimp was out of this world--perfectly crispy with a sweet chili dipping sauce, and it actually tasted like real coconut (even the non-seafood lovers in our group couldn't get enough!). We also loved the island-style cheeseburger, BBQ bacon cheeseburger, mahi mahi fish tacos, and loco moco. And the fries? Crispy, seasoned, and absolutely delicious. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. One special touch we loved was the biography included--it tells such a meaningful story about how the restaurant was founded and adds to the overall experience. Everyone we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. This place is a shining example of amazing food, outstanding service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Gary, Brooklyn, and Camden, for giving our family such an unforgettable experience & beautiful views--we'll definitely be back!

Food: *** C. My boo came here while I was working and had the Ali'i Cheeseburger. He said if he would have just had that and nothing else he would have rated the food here a 5 but on his second time here (my first time) we had the small portioned poke nachos and chicken wings with onion rings. The chicken wings came out cold and we prefer our wings to have a little more meat on the bone. Service: **** B, My fiancé says when there's two sides to this. When they're backed up their service goes to hell but when they slow down they're very personable. I think their service is great; Nolan changed the TV for us so we had straight on viewing of the Detroit Lions game so that was exceptional service! Ambiance: **** B. open-air concept with tropical vibe. Lot of people hanging out watching their football teams. Nutrition tip: order the ahi poke nachos for a healthier take on nachos. Don't expect them to have beans and cheese on them, these come with won top chips and soy sauce!

Another place we stopped in to get out of the rain and we're very pleasantly surprised. The bartenders were all great and very engaging. Plenty of seating inside and at the bar, which was great. Had a couple of drinks and ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer.

While in Waikiki today, hungry after doing a test run from Kapolei on the Skyline and bus into town. Decided to grab a bite at this restaurant along the road that run a next to beach. Being a tourist spot we knew it would be slightly pricier. Husband ordered burger and order a Mahi Burger. Husband very happy with his burger and fries. My Mahi Burger was tasty, and salad instead of fries. The place was lively given games that were going on at the time. The interior is part bar with sports playing on the screens in this section restaurant. Our server was great. Wish I asked his name to give him a shout out for his friendly efficient service.

    Do they do takeout orders?

Is there parking close by? If so how much?

There is street parking and if you drive around, a spot can open up. There is also a parking garage connected to The Royal Hawaiian shopping center a few blocks down that is about $4 an hour.

    Do you take reservations?

They didn't when we visited two weeks ago. It was first come first serve basis.

Can I take out the food?

Yes, you can call your order in and pick up to go😀

Our waitress, Alyssa (sp?), was terrific - friendly, energetic, and gave great recommendations. When Alyssa came to take our drink orders, I asked if the mai tai could be made on the sweeter said. She said it couldn't but gave me other recommendations when I asked for drinks that are on the sweeter side. One of those drinks was the meringue di cerdo, which is a drink version of lemon meringue pie (my fave!) and it was perfectly lemony and more on the sweeter side. My mom got an elderflower drink, which she said was just ok. I got the Cioppino and quinoa cakes. The cioppino had a rich seafood flavor that I haven't seen in other versions of the dish I've tried. It came with toast with romanesco sauce. The sauce had a kick without being overly spicy. The quinoa cakes had a similar taste and texture to falafel and were topped with avocado. They were delicious but a little bit on the heavy side. My mom got the beet salad and the cavatappi with sausage, both of which were specials. Though I didn't try the pasta, I did try some of the beet salad. Beets were cooked well. We loved the crispy shallots. We were full so no room for dessert! Only downside was the noise as we were first seated but it seemed to quiet down during our time at Fete. Would recommend/return!

He described everything with such care that it was hard not to order everything! I'd highly recommend a reservation as there was not an empty table the entire two hours we were there. The restaurant is on the smaller side so it can get quite loud but our table had great conversations and a overall lovely time. Appetizer: We ordered the konpachi hush puppies (apologies, they had a nicer name but this is how they were described to us) and they were delicious! I'm not a lover of fish, but these were so flavorful and the sauce paired perfectly with it. Drinks: I had the meringue di cedri to drink and it was akin to a lemon drop (10/10) it was sippable and lasted my whole meal. Husband had the Hana Koa Rice Breaker, which is one of his favorites as its smooth and pairs well with honestly anything. Entree: You will be missing out if you don't get the lemon risotto. I ordered it with the prosciutto and it may be one of the best meals I've had in Hawaii. The zucchini is done two ways in it: diced to be mixed in with the risotto and thinly sliced and grilled on top of the risotto. The panko crumbs on top really solidified the plate for me as top tier as risotto can get to be boring to eat after a few bites as they can lack texture, but not this risotto! Every bite was a journey and it was a very filling meal. My husband ordered the Korean steak and said it was better than some of the local steakhouses we had gone to. Our friend ordered the spaghetti carbonara and enjoyed it as well. Dessert: We were encouraged to try the Rocky Road ice cream and decided it was a must have when you visit. It was creamy, rich and delectable. We also opted to try the dessert special of the evening which was a Lilikoi cheesecake with a chocolate mousse. The cheesecake had a sour tang to it and the chocolate mousse partner with it to balance it out so it wasn't overly sweet. We loved it and I know in a few days we'll be craving this meal all over again!

Had a glass of wine and baby had watered down lemonade. Her drinks were put in plastic cups with covers and those horrible paper straws. Eyes always bigger than my stomach, we ordered: - Cornbread - when i grabbed it I thought would be super dense but really wasn't. I thought it was very corny and tasty. Lightly toasted. Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. The smoked octopus was sliced in pieces that were too thick and a little too chewy and the andouille sausage and black pepper overpowered the dish. Ordered the bourbon and bone marrow mostly for the presentation. It was WAAAY too rich and needed more bread to go with it. They should've served it with bread that wasn't buttered because the buttered bread even though tasty by itself was just too rich in combination with all of that bone marrow. The dish needed more balance. The ice cream sundae was unremarkable. Would have preferred it served with a choice of hot fudge or the caramel drizzle and since it was plain vanilla ice cream they could've drizzled a lot more caramel over it. The waitress did bring us more nuts when we asked, but they were busy at the time and she was the only server so it took her a while to get to us, and the ice cream was pretty melted by the time she delivered. We got there when they opened at 5 PM and they had two servers at that time. The place wasn't busy so it seemed like they had enough help for the amount of tables that were being seated. An hour and a half later, though, one server was missing (possibly taking a lunch break) and the only server remaining at several big parties to take care of which slowed down her responsiveness to the other smaller tables like ours. The music playing in the background seemed to fit the environment and was pleasant to listen to. It's a pretty casual atmosphere. The prices for what you get are a bit on the high end. Probably wouldn't go back unless someone else is paying. We didn't feel too bad this time because we had a gift certificate which covered most of our bill. Maybe we were choosing all the wrong items and should have just stuck to ordering meat dishes, which they might be better at making (with a name like Livestock). You'll have to check this place out yourself and see if they do a better job with meat and if the prices for those dishes are more reasonable. I gave this place four stars instead of three because the servers were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was mostly okay (tasty enough and filling).
