Decided to check out Chi Fan recently. Small but mighty, it's a cute fast-casual spot for an assortment of popular Asian foods. Popcorn chicken was tasty my favorite! Decor inside is simple. A good option if you're into trendy Asian bites.

On some passion fruit tea to go and it was delicious the staff were friendly. They spoke as I entered, small place wasn't crowded at all. Went during lunch time but it was a lot of people coming in to pick up takeout and the kitchen seemed very busy. Great tea. Will be returning for more.

I love that there are a good amount of different options you can choose from and that there is something for everyone. I heard about this place from TikTok and everything looked so good. I really enjoyed the popcorn chicken and special chi fan noodle dish that I ordered. Unfortunately, my friend wasn't a fan of her spicy gochujang dish, but is still interested in trying the ramen next time. They clearly do well for takeout orders, but since I'm no longer in the area, I ate inside. The interior was spacious and they had some cute wall decor. The owners are very friendly and bring the food to the table for you. But you do have to clean up after yourself, which isn't any issue. They are kid friendly in the sense that I noticed that they have high chairs there. I definitely want to stop by again to try another dish!

Very nice poke bowl, noodle and Asian fusion place that also serves an assortment of milk tea offerings as well - got the garlic butter noodles which were incredible and also a poke bowl with pineapple, shrimp, scallops, tomatoes, cucumbers and other veggies with a great sauce. Also they had a mango lassi milk tea beverage that was pretty good, plus an Assam black tea one as well. Service was also great as they bring the food out to you. Interior atmosphere relatively spacious with plenty of tables plus cool decorations on the wall. Madison Heights has other cool places like this as well. Recommended and check it out!

I had a taste for Ramen today and so I searched for the nearest restaurant. She fine was the closest to me. I must say that I am so happy that I decided to stop in. I was greeted immediately upon walking in and was able to place my order and have a seat at one of the many tables. I ended up getting the creamy tonkatsu that was actually really delicious. I also grabbed the crab rangoon that was cooked so well and so good that I was upset that my experience was over when I ate them all. I will definitely be back whenever I'm in this area.

Seating area to wait for carry out, table, or to enjoy a Boba tea.

Fantastic food and boba teas! I tried the Chi Fan Noodles (and added tofu). I paired it with the Thai Milk tea (which might be my new favorite drink). I recommend you get a punchcard because you're going to fall in love with the Boba teas. And you will get a free drink after six punches. The staff were very friendly and nice. Looks super clean and a relaxing ambiance with quiet music. Would be a great place to come and catch up with friends or family.

Totally disappointed in this new place. It all started with picking up my carry out order. Total cluster inside, patrons trying to use the self serve kiosks, people trying to pay and pick up. I Had the tangy mandarin chicken and the crab Rangoon. While the crab Rangoon was okay. The chicken was inedible ( yes looks great in photos but does not taste good) Complete waste of money and time as I threw it away. Tastes like frozen chicken bites tossed in sauce that didn't taste like tangy mandarin. Rather bland and Rubbery. Just yuck. I won't be back.

Thought this place was okay for what it was priced at and the kind of food they were serving. Service was very helpful and honest about portion size and what things tasted like which was helpful. The dishes here are very customizable with what proteins you want to add and other veggies you want. Almost like an Asian chipotle but not really. Gochujang noodles 3/5 I thought the sauce, noodles, and garnishes worked together and taste good overall, but I wish the sauce was more viscous as it was it had a soupy texture instead but that's just preference. Veggie egg rolls 3/5 Nothing special about the egg rolls but we're good if your craving them. Standard cabbages and carrots in them.

This place has a great location and is relatively easy to get to. The inside decorations were really cute and definitely gave a cutesy vibe. The bathroom was really clean. They have some kiosks in the front to allow for individualized ordering however staff is always there to help. The food was a decent portion size for the price however I will say the food wasn't amazing. The poke bowl ate a little dry and the ramen had a decent broth.

This is my second time coming here in a week. The food and service is great. I like that there is seating in the inside.

Chi Fan opened recently and offers poke bowls, stir fry, ramen, boba, and more. I visited for the first time on a Friday afternoon after hearing rave reviews about it on a local Facebook page. I was not disappointed! Their online ordering system was very easy to use, and I arrived about 10 mins early to get my order (miscalculated my work commute!) and only had to wait a few minutes for my order to be ready. The staff was super friendly, the restaurant was clean, inviting, and had easy parking, and the food was fresh and delicious. As for my order, I did a create your own stir fry with tofu, crab, rice noodles, bean sprouts, fishcake, bok choy, mushrooms, pineapple, scallions, sesame seeds, and spicy Gochujang sauce. I also ordered a taro milk tea with tapioca pearls and brown sugar drizzle. Both were incredible! There were honestly so many stir fry ingredients to choose from so I just mixed a lot of things together, but it was amazing. Good portions of everything, too. I'm very glad I gave this place a try and I will be coming back!

Honolulu Hawaiian - Ahi tuna, Salomon, corn, edamame, advocado, seaweed salad, pineapple, grape tomatoes on rice

Quaint place in a strip mall near 75 freeway. Ample parking with seating indoors and outdoors. The staff was super friendly and helpful with menu. Had the Honolulu Hawaiian - Ahi tuna, Salomon, corn, edamame, advocado, seaweed salad, pineapple, grape tomatoes on rice. You can add up to 2 sauces so I chose the spicy mayo and teriyaki which paired really well. The fish was very fresh and prepared perfectly. Recommend Matcha Milk Tea with tapioca bubbles to drink. Highly recommend

Heard about this place online when I heard they had a Mango Lassi Boba tea. Seemed intriguing so I tried it out. The place was clean with plenty of seating. It was busy and looked like a good place for groups. It was a bit of a wait but you can see them behind the kiosk working the woks making the food. I ordered their Chi Fan noodles with tofu and customized it (the kiosk made that easy to do) and ordered the Boba Mango Lassi. Pretty good for the price. I'll try some of their other items soon.

Total plot twist. The place was pretty quiet with only a few diners, so service was steady, though a little slow at times. We ordered the veggie noodles, cucumber salad, lamb skewers, xianbing pancake, and juicy pork dumplings. Overall, the food was decent and comfortably average, but honestly, we were just excited to finally find a Szechuan-style Chinese restaurant nearby. The veggie noodles were the clear winner of the night: chewy, flavorful, and coated in a sauce that had us going back for bite after bite. I could've done without the bok choy, though, and I wish the noodles had been a little less oily. The cucumber salad leaned much sweeter than we expected and was swimming in a bit too much soy sauce for our taste. The pork dumplings were nice and juicy inside, but the wrappers were slightly too doughy. Now the lamb skewers? Absolutely delicious. Great flavor, good portion size, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The biggest disappointment, unfortunately, was the xianbing pancake. It didn't feel authentic at all. The crepe was way too thick, and the crispy crackers inside had lost all crunch and turned soggy instead. Still, the cozy vibe, solid noodles, and tasty skewers made it a worthwhile visit, especially if you're craving Szechuan flavors around Madison Heights.

And whoever mops the floors must have an irrational childhood fear of cleaning corners. Although the floors themselves are clean, each corner has a disgusting black buildup of filth. Likewise, the sinks in the bathroom. They have not been cleaned well in a very long time. Food: the beef roll pie is delicious. The marinated beef is OK but should be served cold, not room temperature. The steamed dumplings were OK too. However, the noodle dishes were oily, bland, flavorless, and just seasoned with a sweet brown sauce. Further, there is almost no meat to be found in the noodle dishes. What I had looked to be scraps. I paid three dollars extra to have the wide hand cut noodle. It was basically served raw to me. Service: this place has no concept of service. Food comes out haphazardly. First I got my entrée, then my daughter got her entree, then we got two appetizers. Sometime later, my son got his entrée, and the steamed dumplings came. Never once was an empty dish taken away, and never once was a water glass refilled. Service here is absolutely awful. Other than the beef roll pie, there isn't a single redeeming quality about this place. The food is awful, the service is terrible, all surfaces are sticky and dirty. Avoid this place at all cost.
