Something so simple and yet deliciously made. I got hooked on their deluxe chicken sandwiches cause they don't make you feel like a heffa and they seem healthier than most fast food restaurants. Their chicken nuggets are real cause you can actually see the chicken meat inside, not a chicken mixture. Not that I'm hating on the mix but I occasionally like to feel like I'm eating healthy. Oh, and the polynesian sauce is something when you dip the nuggets in. It's like ying and yang, lol. Chick-fil-A is also very child friendly which is a plus for me and my posse. Every Tuesday is kids eat free night and they get a free kids meal. In addition, they have a lady on a table with crayons where the kids can color at. Pretty cool since no fast food place does that. The play area in the back doesn't smell like pee either and I swear, I feel much better knowing I don't have to hold my kids afterwards by the edge of their shirt. Double plus! The service is always awesome and the place is always clean. I can't help but notice that whenever I go here there are always pregnant woman. Chick-fil-a is my favorite fast food chain, so my review might be biased, but I don't care! Chick-fil-a has THE BEST chicken nuggets, ice cream, fries, and barbecue sauce! The nuggets are small and kind of pricy for their size, but they're amazing in that you know you're eating REAL chicken. Not some breaded ground up chicken mush. The ice cream is nice and creamy, but also has this like refreshing taste to it too. I love that it isn't too rich and doesn't make you feel too guilty for eating it. The fries are waffle style and delightfully crunchy and are equally tasty when soggy. And the barbecue sauce is sweet and tangy and pairs well with anything savory on the menu! Best part is that they are free! None of that $.25 per sauce crap! The staff at Chick-fil-a are also very friendly and helpful! Most of them seem to want to help you out and aren't shy to ask if you need a refill or more sauces if you dine in. Even the facility itself looks well-kept. Long live milkshake monday! read more

I regularly come here weekday mornings for coffee and a bagel on my way to work. The coffee is not the best but coffee is like sex: It's better to get some than none. I am not much of a poultry fan so I typically get many of the sides and they are great. My regulars are the waffle fries, cole slaw, cesar salad, milk shakes and parfait. It's surprising that they keep it so clean since it is very busy much of the day. The prices are very reasonable and the cashiers are very polite. I have never come here on a Sunday but the word going around is that they are closed. read more

Honey. Roasted. Bbq. Sauce. It doesn't matter what "entree" you get, just make sure you get this sauce! I literally suck it straight from the packet. It's just THAT good! I usually get the chargrilled chicken sandwich with provolone combo and they never fail to load it up with a nice big leaf of lettuce and two thick tomato slices (I hate how other places get stingy with the veggies). The waffle fries are to die for, and dipped in that wonderful honey bbq sauce... *drool* outta this world! Seriously, I love the sauce that much! I've always talked about having Chick-fil-A cater a party just so I could get a party platter of fries, nuggets, and a big ol' bowl of that delicious sauce! My sisters and I always ask for extra when we eat in just so we could bring some home. :) If I want something "healthier" I go for the southwest chargrilled chicken salad. The corn relish = spicy goodness... paired with a sweet berry balsamic vinaigrette, this salad is DELISH! I only wish they gave bigger slices of chicken rather than ones that are as thin as the accompanying tortilla strips, no joke. I especially like this location because the employees are so friendly and accommodating. I really have to emphasize how nice the employees are.. and they all seem sincere, none of that fake stuff. I also like that they deliver the food to your table, and without the attitude you get at other fast food joints that do the same. Plus, the girl who took our order and delivered it to us was more than happy to get a fork for me when I was already half-way to getting it myself. Also, one of my friend's usual order is the same as mine but with only ONE bun. Yeah, you read that right.. like either the top piece or the bottom, just not both. Who asks for that at a fast food joint?! I've heard of cutting back on carbs and asking for a burger wrapped in lettuce, but opting for just half your bun? That's just WEIRD! But the employees here don't seem to think so and are more than willing to comply. Currently I'm a federal employee . I work out at the gym a lot so I like to eat healthy and I'm not really a fast food guy . I went into the chic fil A on Olympic parkway because I know they give discount to federal employees . I showed my creds and they told me I would have to be in uniform . Being in uniform alone after work with no back up Isn't a great idea seeing how we like to keep a low radar because of the job we do . I hope they change this policy and only require feds to show badge creds . I didn't get a discount or anything my lady paid for our meal . THE BEST chicken sandwiches. EVER. I love their sandwiches and their "pro cow, eat chicken" advertising. Their chicken sandwich is a true chicken breast that's fried or grilled. None of that cafeteria chicken paste that's made into a patty crap. The chicken breast is crisp on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. YUM! Waffle fries and fresh lemonade go perfectly with the chicken sandwich. Their service is amazing too, for a fast food place. The staff consistently comes by your table to offer you refills and to clear the trays. We consistenly have to drive all the way to Chula Vista or Oceanside to get these sandwiches, so I'm definately looking forward to the one opening up near MCRD! read more

My first experience with Chick-Fil-A was in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The year was 2000--which doesn't roll off the tongue like 1999, or 1776, but I could also say, it was near the turn of the century, but now I sound old. This place was quite the find as I navigate the 125 in search of businesses and new life, new civilization--because if you're from San Diego proper, you probably don't know stuff exists south of the 54 and east of the 805. I sure didn't. Before I started working in the neighborhood, there was simply construction and wild fires. I had never lived anywhere that wasn't 3-4 minutes from a major interstate. Ever. Chick-fil-A is good. I'll tell you why. Chicken sandwiches made with the love of God. If In-N-Out are burgers made in the Lords name, than Chick-fil-A is made with the love of Jesus.... and I'm a complete atheist.. or agnostic. It changes depending on the girl I'm dating. I can't give them the 5 stars they deserve though. I've been here a few times and they've screwed up on my order. Once I was promised something free as a promotion--when I pulled up to pick up my food, it wasn't given to me and I drove off thinking I had a surprise in my bag. There was not. It's not open on Sundays. I'm sure everyone is writing about that. It's like New Jersey--it's not open on Sundays. But the only difference is Chick-fil-A is awesome, and the only thing good to ever come out of New Jersey is Bon Jovi. Am I the only one who has cravings for Chick-fil-a when it's closed on Sunday's? Well for once I was having those Chick-fil-a cravings on a Saturday before my friend's wedding. Yes not the smartest of choices when I have a white dress on... But definitely convenient! The establishment was pretty busy at noon time. However, we got our food fairly quickly. When I took a bite of my french fries they were were lukewarm and did not seem fresh! It made me sad because I go to Chick-fil-a for their waffle fries. Thus, when they cannot perfect this.. I'm pretty disappointed! My chicken stripes were also lukewarm and average tasting. My cravings were definitely not satisfied! I can't believe that this is a minute away from me, and I NEVER tried this place out until it was like military appreciation day or something, and we got free food, because we were actually broke that day. HA HA! When I went over there, they were handing out samples of their milkshakes. OH EM GEE man! was that a bad idea to do that to me or what, knowing that I LOVE milkshakes, this was just ...*stops to wipe my drool* The banana cream pie or something and oreo was SO GOOOD!!!! Hallelujah, an actual quality American fast food. Well I can't actually say that cause In-N-Out is another quality American fast food joint. Come to think of it Chick-fill-A is the In-N-Out equivalent to chicken fast food joints that In-N-Out is to beef burger fast food joints. They also both have hyphenated names, makes me wonder if they're under the same parent company but oh wells. All I know is if I want actual healthy fast food I go to either here or In-N-Out, depending on if I want chicken or beef. And in case I want something totally unhealthy I'll get a Double Bacon Western burger in the Carl's Jr. that's right next door. Another plus other then the healthiness of the food is the waffle fries, these are just good and since they're in a waffle shape then can hold a large amount of ur choice of sauce, and boy does Chick-fill-A have a bunch of sauces to dip ur sandwhich or waffle frie in, there's atleast a dozen plus different types of sauce. My favorite so far is the Honey Roasted Bqq sauce, my gf's lil sister is the Buttermilk Ranch. Bottom Line: Good tasting and healthy chicken, great waffle fries that are oh so dippable, and a plethora of different sauces so any palate can be pleased earns Chick-fill-A four stars. read more

I've gone here for years but in the past 6 months, their food quality at this specific chick fil a has gone down tremendously. My fries seem to always be way too crispy and the nuggets are soggy and mushy and i have found fat in them recently. They also don't take special requests because they're too busy. Just finished doing my survey form my visit the other day so thought I'd write a long overdue review. I am always highly satisfied with my visit to Chick fil A. It is my favorite fast food restaurant for 3 reasons: 1. The employees are awesome (always kind, courteous, and smiling) 2. The food is delicious. Always fresh and hot. (2a.They have sweet tea:) 3. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service I receive. I always rave about those 3 things when my friend sees me with a Chick fil A cup and asks me about the food. Also, you can order lunch/dinner for breakfast (which is important to me because I'm a RN and work nights so I don't always want breakfast when I get off work in the mornings. They give military discounts And if you do ever have to wait super long (which is VERY rare) they apologize and usually give you some sort of discount or coupon From what I see They care about their employees (and customers). This is my first time to visit this restaurant, and I am tremendously pleased with the service they provided. The cashier Ms. Kali was courteous and very friendly. She took my order with efficiency and wih a pleasant smile. The rest of the staff behind the counter were helpful, organized and worked flawlessly keeping their spaces free of clutter. The dining area is well kept. The empty tables are wiped clean and free of trays. The lighting and temperature are optimal for customers to dine and enjoy their meal. I'm a huge foodie and believe it or not, I've never had Chick-Fil-A until this past trip to SoCal. I had 2 trips to LA and SD within a 3 week period and ate mostly Korean and Mexican food. This one evening we were craving something different so my buddy brought me here, alomst against my will. For one, I prefer more ethnic foods. Secondly, I'm not much of a fast food guy, especially if there are restaurants nearby. And last but not least, I prefer good ol' beef and pork over chicken. So, reluctantly I went along and I'm sure glad I did. This has got to be the best "fast food" chicken sandwich I have ever had. I believe they use breasts for their sandwiches, and one would expect it to be dry but no way, they're juicy as heck! They have a plethora of sauces, and even one called "Hawaiian." LOL The joint is very clean and service is awesome. The girl taking my order was very helpful because i had no clue what to order. She even ended up giving me 4 different sauces to try even though I didn't ask. I can't wait to make it back to Cali so I can eat here again! read more
