I went to the drive thru, ordered dinner for three kids, had to park off to the side and wait for them to bring out the order. They brought out the order and said everything is in the bag and marked on the side here. I get home and have a missing chicken sandwich is missing from the order, I immediately call the store and talk to a manager who identified herself Samantha, I explained to her that they had missed one of the sandwiches in my order, her response was so you want to come back tonight? I advised yes since I was picking up dinner for kids ( I can't feed two out of three) she then said fo ahead and come back we will promo that for you, I said your not promo'ing anything since I have actually already paid for this missing item, I then asked them to deliver the sandwich and she said We don't deliver missing items, I said you have a delivery service and yet you don't accommodate your restaurants mistakes. I then said can you make sure the sandwich is ready and I can run into the store and pick it up? She told me no, only door dash employees can come into the store, I said well I shouldn't have to sit in your drive they yet again because of your stores error she said well the drive thru isn't busy now if you come. I got to the restaurant and had to yet wait in another line to place my order, I did ask to speak to a manager and when I arrived at the drive they window I was told Mario was one of the managers when I voiced my concern about the replacement of missing items and the verbiage that is used like they are doing you a favor by replacing the item, Mario was dismissive and said well did you get the chicken sandwich? I said yes but my issue is now that I have had to again wait in a line to have you correct your error. Sadly not everyone wants to make multiple trips to a store and I'd there is a mistake they should clearly be more accommodating if Door Dashers can enter into your store to pick up orders why can't someone who has paid for a meal and has a portion of it missing be allowed to enter with no additional inconvenience. Poor customer service tonight. Very disappointed. I also advised Mario that I was so displeased with their service and that I was in process of giving them a YELP review and he again was dismissive. read more

I love Chick-Fil-A but this location is horrible! The staff is so slow, which is surprising because they have SO many employees. They do not know how to control the busy times inside and in the drive-through. Which by the way caused road rage and honking. Every time I've gone (4-6 times) they mess up my order! Don't let the lines intimidate you. They have fast service down to a science. The lines move insanely quick and the food is ready equally as fast. Other fast food chains could learn a thing or two from CFA! Their service is second to one and their sandwiches are great! Saddened that this restaurant experience was so underwhelming. I live in Santa Clarita and usually go to the chick fila there but i work in Thousand Oaks and this one is on my route home. Dropped by around 4:30pm today with my son who had gone to summer camp at work with me. Here are my pros and the reason for the 2 star rating cons Pros- 1.relatively empty, could be because time was before the dinner rush. 2.The facility itself was clean including tables , bathroom, play area. 3.Good parking, again possibly because of time. The one in Santa Clarita is by a mall so it is always crowded. 4. My tray was cleared promptly before i could get up 5. Food came quickly Cons 1- food quality - not as good, chicken patty was overcooked and dry(had the spicy chick deluxe), fries were old and again over cooked, mac and cheese was kind of cold 2-Service at cashier - wasn't asked if i wanted any sauces. I had to come back to ask for my sauces. The girl that helped me was not very friendly. Not rude but bot friendly or warm. Allos seemed annoyed that I asked for sauces she should've offered in the first place. 3 - male guy behind register with red hair. I went up to get a refill. The guy was not helping anyone. He was mindlessly wiping the drink area again and again chatting with some guy that wasn't gettingfood. I stood a good 5 minutes with my cup in hand and lid off as he stood less than 2 feet away ignoring my presence. Another customer came up and stood in line behind me and had her lid off too. He also did not acknowledge her existence. The restaurant was not busy no customer waiting to order food. There was another cashier who was helping a customer. Eventually the guy just walked away. The other cashier , a different one than the one that took my initial order, finished with her customer and promptly asked if I wanted a refill. There were at least 4 other employees that saw myself and the other customer but did not acknowledge us. One one girl seemed to care about good customer service. A note to management, please train your employees better as they r a reflection on the company and this is the worst chick a fil i have been to. read more

My biggest pet peeve when I go to CFA vs when I go to McDonalds is that people at CFA (the ones in the San Fernando Valley) do not wipe the side of my beverage when there is soda all over it. I was at this location being helped on by Chase. He noticed that there was soda all over the side of my cup and without me asking he grabbed a paper towel and cleaned if off before handing it to me. My jaw dropped! I was very thankful that finally someone at CFA didn't hand me a dripping soda! Thank you Chase for taking 5 seconds out of your day to hand me a clean cup! read more

I've been to Chick-fil-A in TO multiple times and I was so excited to finally have one in Simi. Service is great and kinda excessive but I understand. First time was good and whatever but the second time, I had the WORST food poisoning ever. I didn't get anything weird just a spicy chicken deluxe and fries. The next day I was so nausea that my head was spinning. You know how I know it was here? Everything that came up was the chicken and lettuce and that's all I had for dinner. I was throwing up for more than a couple hours. Once my body finally kicked it out of my system I felt so weak (dehydration/electrolytes missing from throwing up) I swear I would never eat at the Simi location again. I've been hearing other people getting food poisoning or something from this place. So if you work here please WASH your hands, keep poultry at a proper temperature and throw away old veggies if they're bad. My love for Chick-fil-A has vanished since this incident as I do not want to take the risk unless it's at another location than I shall risk it for the biscuit. I love Chick-fil-A and so glad there is one is Simi but the drivethru here is majorly mismanaged. I always seem to get in the line with the long order in front of me then all the cars in the other line go ahead and I end up 4-5 cars back from when I arrived. If they were not taking multiple orders at once that would make it fair and you would get your meal in the order you arrived. Something needs to change. My three stars is for the food only. I'm a big fan of chick fil a and all their food but the quality of the food at this location has gone down significantly. The size of the filet is always inconsistent. The past 3 or so times I've gotten a sandwich it has been chewy and under cooked in the middle. Spicy chicken sandwiches are not spicy here and to me don't taste the same as the ones in west lake and TO. Stale buns are also a problem when coming in an hour or so before closing. We were apart of Grace Brethren Youth Soccer this year and we were so impressed with Chic-Fil-A. They not only sponsored but they also had a presence at almost every game! They provide a table with hot coffee on some of the cold mornings for parents which was extremely welcomed! The Chic- Fil-A cow came to visit on picture day which made the kids sooo excited. I would LOVE to see Chic-Fila-A sponsor and to continue to be hands on for more things like this in our community. We were definitely impressed! read more

My daughter and I went on Saturday night, there were 3 workers at the drive through with headsets outside taking orders as we pulled in the right side of the line, two cars on the left side where helped before us, it seemed as if they did not want to walk to walk over to us to take our order. We got our mediocre food before the car in front of us and we had to wait until they finally asked the car in front of us to wait in the parking lot while our food was getting cold. We very specifically asked for EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA THICK Coffee shake and extra pickles in deluxe spicy chicken. Of course neither came the way we ordered! I was in the restaurant Dec 6th and bought 5 gift cards totally $150.00. the operator Josh Alexander had problems activating the cards. He tried several cards. when he finished and handed me the cards and receipts for each card, I went home and put them together. I notice one card receipt did not match the card. I am unable to drive do to an injury and rely on my son for transportation. My son took me back to the restaurant the next day. I brought all the cards and receipts with me. Josh was not working and operator Walls tried to assist but was unable to. He called over a manager and I was told he could not issue a new card. I had all the cards scanned and the only one that was not activated was the card receipt and card number did not match. I was told to contact the Corporate office. I have called, emailed and sent a letter and have not received any call or email. I am an elderly person on a fixed income and I feel chick-fil-a is taking advantage of me. Ordered a 12 piece nugget meal and they only gave us an 8 piece and charged us for a 12! Also one of the nuggets weren't cook thoroughly and was very raw when I bit into it, I was disgusted I couldn't eat any more. One of the first times I went they filled my large French fry barely halfway and have me 4 nuggets instead of 12 nuggets despite charging me the most but they corrected the situation nicely. It took them four times after checking my receipt twice to still miss items from my order and give me incorrect sizes of my fries.
