Yummy and excellent lunch spot! We came during the week around 11:45 and it was starting to get busy. We were able to find a table for six though. You order at the counter, grab a table and they will bring you, your food. "The Chick" is their combo meal and comes with your choice of chicken salad, type of bread (or just a scoop with crackers), a side and drink is a little extra. My meal ended up being around $10. I had the Cranberry Kelli on a croissant and it was amazing! I ordered the pasta salad as my side and should have gone with the soup of the day or fruit. We had the Kickin' Kay Lynne sandwich on a croissant with broccoli cheese soup and the Buffalo Barclay salad on a bed of lettuce with loaded potato soup. This was my 1st time coming here. It is a clean and cute cafe style eatery. I think it was pretty cool that I was able to try different chicken salad samples before choosing one. My family and I got there right around 10:45 am and they opened at 10:30 am. It was not busy when we got there but that changed quickly within 20 mins. Not dry or too much mayo. I wish they had a toasted croissant option but they do not. I always have my bread toasted, when I eat bread especially if I have the option. The broccoli salad was missing cran-raisins or something to me. It was good don't get me wrong. The cheese in the broccoli salad was something new for me. In general, I really like broccoli salad. The spicy pimento cheese was tasty with the wheat crackers. I liked the crunchy pickle that the meal came with. The meal comes with a mini wrapped sugar cookie with icing. I didn't eat it I saved it for my hubby. He likes them more then I do. The blueberry cheesecake was a pretty small slice and I was not impressed with it. It was extremely too sweet for my taste. Truly awful chicken salad. The one I picked was advertised on their menu as fruity and supposed to contain nuts, apples and grapes. I think I saw 3 nut fragments, no apples and 2 giant grapes throughout the entire salad scoop which was served on a very stale pretend-croissant. Why wouldn't you at least cut up the grapes so you can have a few bites containing them? This honestly looked like the chicken salad is made in one giant vat every few days and they separate it and throw in a very few extra ingredients to make the menu look somewhat accurate. Tasting good does NOT seem to be anyones goal. And OMG please dont spend money on the cardboard cookies. I will never return to this sad fast food place trying to be a restaurant but failing miserably. read more

A colleague and myself ate here for the first time today 8.14.2019 for lunch (got there about 12:50pm)and it was CROWDED with people and no empty spots to sit at. I was sweating bullets (figuratively) because I did not want to sit outside on the patio in the 100 degree Houston humidity weather. Thankfully as soon as we ordered, a big group of people got up and left. I heard the angels singing!! We hurried up and grabbed the seating while someone was cleaning the table. I ordered the egg salad sandwich on wheatberry bread (toasted) with grape salad and it was delicious and fulfilling!!!! The sandwich was big!!! The cookie was a nice sweet touch afterwards!! The scoop comes with a great pickle spear, crackers and a mini iced cookie. You can also order the chicken salad in a sandwich or salad. But let's get to the point and talk about the food, I got a scoop of their classic chicken salad with a BBQ touch it was delicious, it was called the Barbie-Q to me it had the perfect amount of bbq flavor mixed with a chicken salad, my side it was a classic salad and crackers. Just got home with our awful order from Vintage Park Texas location, extremely disappointed in the 'toasted' white sandwich. The sandwiches aren't 'toasted' the are just 'flattened' on the grill like a panini sandwich. Gross because it makes a slick hard outside and soft smooshed inside. Definitely not a 'toasted' sandwich. Then the amount of chicken salad on the sandwiches was probably only 2 tablespoons worth on each. My sandwich came with the grape salad which had no brown sugar or pecans on it. Extremely disappointed in our order. We have eaten at this location many times, however will not be back.
