Stopped by to pick up a Togo order. I ordered the Classic Ribeye - Medium Rare. I get home to find out that I did not receive what I ordered. Instead I get a Sirlion cooked to Medium/Medium Well. Like Leo Getz always says....they F you in the drive thru. I'm too hungry to drive back and wait for them to fix my order. Spoke with a Manager after I ate my dinner to let him know about the messed up order. He apologized and told me he would be mailing me a couple of Chili's Be Our Guest cards. You know those days when you're working your butt off at the gym, totally unmotivated, on the dang eliptical pushing 3 miles uphill for 40 minutes and a Chili's commercial comes on the dang gym tv? Well yeah..happens to us all and those advertising wizards know just how to lure you in! So I had one such night where my workout buddy and I ended up at this Happy Hour Oasis. I call it this because of their awwwseome daily happy hour deals! Two full orders of extremely naughty appetizers deep fried cheesy and spicy yumminess washed down with two rather well made ice cold house margaritas....for $16! For two people! Truly disappointed! Ordered a Santa Fe Chicken Salad for take out and was appalled when I got home and opened the container. The greens were getting brown, the spinach was actually wet and wilted. There was water in the bottom of the dish. Avocado slices were brown and partly smashed. I do believe this salad was not made fresh and looked as though someone dropped it and then bagged it. I have been a frequent customer but recently the quality of the take out food has been poor. Will have to find another restaurant I guess. read more

I work as a server and I came into this chillis where they use tablets to serve the tables . There were a lot and I mean a lot of open tables and they were telling us along with many others 30 plus minutes . To say your understaffed is no excuse when your using tablets which makes your job really easy ! Hmm, it's so hard to write a review on this Chili's location on Paseo & Wyoming. One visit will be great, enjoyable and awesome food and the next visit is straight out of an episode of What would you do? This is how it went down; Our friends call to tell us to meet them at Chili's for dinner. This is a last minute invite as we had just returned home from work SO, we do a quick change and head over. Upon arrival, to our surprise, our friends had already received their food. No worries, we order our food and sit back for some stimulating conversation while we wait and they dig in. As our food arrives our friends are finishing their dinner. I ordered the fajitas. Pretty tasty. Nothing special. My husband orders the ribs and they come out stone cold. Not even lukewarm. He calls over our waiter, Michael S. Michael apologizes and says he'll take care of it. The manager, Mark Merinar appears at our table. We let Mark Merinar know about the cold ribs. Mark Merinar says he'll do a re-fire for the ribs and walks away. Michael S appears right behind him, takes my husbands plate and reappears 30 seconds to 1 minute later with a piping hot plate of freshly microwaved ribs. Mark Merinar makes another appearance to inquire about the heat of the food. Fine. Whatever. The check appears on the "Zoosk?" machine. Whatever the contraption is on the table that makes checking out more convenient. As it happens, tour buddies ordered from the 2 for $20 menu as did we. Throw in a couple of margaritas and a beer and it's a party! Great deal for a great amount of food at a reasonable cost. Michael Merinar appears once more and announces that he is going to "comp" the cold ribs for the inconvenience. So 2 for $20 x 2 plus drinks is approximately $53. Our new bill after the "comp" is...........$53? ( see photo) Not only did they NOT comp the ribs, they charged us twice for ribs and removed one. My husband calls over Mark Merinar once more to question his word on what he said he would do and do you want to know what he said? "I didn't know how long you had the ribs sitting at your table before complaining that they were cold." What the? Where's John Quinones? I'm really tired of this location. Okay, I know this is a chain restaurant, but what can I say? When you commute a 100+ miles to work and back everyday, the last thing you want to do is jump in the car and navigate to where all the local restaurants are. This location is conveniently located a stones throw away from my house. It does get busy at times, but the wait is never longer than 15 minutes from my experience. I am a member of their "rewards" club, so I get savings that way, as well. I have had touch-and-go wait staff, with sometimes getting awesome service and other times receiving poor, inattentive waiter/ress. So, I took away one-star due to the inconsistent service. They need to train their wait staff how to take care of multiple tables. The food, though. It is consistently good, I have actually been here many, many times but forget to check-in or feel guilty for not checking into a local restaurant, like my many yelper friends. Also, another thing to keep in mind is that many of the local restaurants cater to New Mexican flavors and I cannot handle spice at all. So, if a bunch of food is spicy on a menu, I won't be coming. Anyway, back to the food, it is delicious, and what can I say? They've got their cooking down to a T. T is for terrific, by the way. I love their table-side guacamole (my favorite appetizer), but also a big fan of their southwest egg rolls. All of their burgers and fries are good. Their steaks and ribs are also very flavorful, meaty, and delicious. I recently went to a party that was catered by this Chili's and it was spectacular. I also get their Quesadilla Explosion Salad, which is a favorite - the Santa Fe salad is too spicy for me. So overall, great, dependable restaurant, who rewards repeat customers by offering a pretty good reward plan. Chili's is a restaurant staple in our family. read more

We stop in here for dinner about once a month, we enjoy sitting in the bar area because the service is very good in there. We stopped in tonight for a quick meal, it was good. I had the 6 ounce sirloin with grilled avocado, garlic tomatoes and the fresco salad. My steak was cooked perfectly. Hubby had the usual quesadilla explosion salad. A group of four of us went to Chili's last night for dinner. We had to wait to be seated as there was no one at the hostess stand. Drink order was taken fairly quickly but had to wait to actually get them. Ordered the 2 for $25 meals. Had to wait over 20 minutes for salads. Meals were Chili's, they were OK. Service was extremely slow. I can get being short-staffed but you have to say something or I think you are just blowing us off. read more

Among the Chili's I've been to, this one was not quite up to par. I will say the salmon cut I ordered was cooked spot-on, and so were the steak cuts in the tacos. The person on meat station was doing an excellent job. Also, they only offer one of the dual menus, so don't expect to be able to order Chili's sandwiches, etc. from the chain's full repertoire. Otherwise, there was some disappointment. There was a long wait, both to be seated and to be served after ordering - perhaps they were understaffed tonight? We had to wait for a table to be cleared. The menus were wet in between the pages. What saved it from a 1 or 2-star rating was that meat cook, and also the manager, who noticed my daughter had not eaten much of her meal, was very outgoing and concerned, comped us for it, and gave my daughter an excellent cut of chicken in recompense. Those two people brought my rating to three stars. That being said, the broccoli florets were dried out a bit, and while still edible were clearly not fresh. The rice was cooked to the right texture but the flavorings were unevenly distributed, so mouthful of "hmmm.. nice" and mouthful of "whoa...." and whoever was peppering dishes back there was not paying attention to quantity or evenness of distribution because there was a mouthful of bland, then pepper central going off. I would suggest that if you feel like Chili's if you don't want to drive far go ahead and try this one because I might just have caught them on a difficult day, but be ready to voice concerns immediately and don't accept stale broccoli or imbalanced spicing and mixing. I think they need more dishes going back, in that kitchen, to get the garnish and veg stations up to where they should be. read more

I love Chili's, but this location is so bad. Very poor service to the point of being rude. Managers are weak and afraid of the waitstaff so the waitstaff can do whatever they want. Had a bartender actually tell my party he was busy and we would have to wait. Took 19 minutes to get our drinks at which point he rudely said no one else seems to mind waiting. Food was awful. I had the fajitas and it was horrible over cooked and under flavored. Tried to add salsa to give it some kind of taste and it just took it in the wrong direction. I will say that service was good. Bartender was prompt and followed up several times and kept my drink filled. He is what saved a one star. This place sucked!!!! We sat in the bar area. The tables were all dirty. We ordered our drinks, our server walked away then went and talked with his friends that were there drinking and took more then 5 min before he went to go get our drinks. He then took another 5-10 min to bring our drinks back to us! The food was edible nothing great. We ordered one more drink before we left. That took for ever!!! Then finally he came back with just my husbands drink. He said that they didn't turn on the frozen margarita machine so I would have to wait at least 10 min before I could have my drink. So I just ordered something else and we left. Never going back there again! I have been to several different chilis and I have never had this happen to me. This place sucks! read more

Chili's has been around for quite a long time and their menu has gone through some interesting changes over the years, but it always has long time favorites as well. This particular Chili's was moderately busy and we were seated as close to the kitchen and dishwasher as you could be, but hey, it happens sometimes and they really weren't that noisy after all. The wait staff were very friendly and the manager checked on us during the visit, which always earns points in my book. Our waitress forgot to place our appetizer order and after it had been long enough, I mentioned this to her and she quickly apologized and made sure that we received it promptly and knocked it off of our bill. She apologized a couple more times before the end of our visit while attending to us as often as we required. It really was good service, and the food was spot on what you would expect with full stomachs all around. I do find the spontaneous "Happy Birthday" fanfare erupting during our meal annoying (and yeah I know that just comes with the territory) but I digress. This particular location across the highway from the balloon fields has the quality of service and professionalism you would want at any restaurant establishment. Thanks Chili's! read more

Well I was disappointed with my meal. I had the build your own southwest plate or whatever you call it. The tostada and the taco were both soggy from the beans. Although my food did not take long to come out it looked like it had been under the warmers for awhile. It was pretty yucky. read more

I visited about 7 pm On aWednesday and I had placed my order online two hours in advance scheduling my pick up for 7:10. I ordered the bacon burger and fries and it was delicious cooked exactly as I had ordered medium well. For the quality of the food it was reasonably priced at $10 for a soda and the food. It's been a VERY long time since we have eaten at Chili's- due to various hostesses insisting to seat us near the restroom every time we go to eat. We decided to give it another try. It was awful. We were a table of 3, and there were only 4 other tables in the entire restaurant. Service was extremely slow, and our drinks that were ordered were not the drinks that were delivered. Our appetizer was delivered with our entrees, and our food was dry and looked as if it was hanging out under the heat lamp for too long. My husband, who always finishes all the food on his plate, left half of his Chicken Ranch Sandwich. We were really looking forward to their Chocolate Molten Lava Cake, but didn't want to wait longer to ask the waitress if we could order one. I had to ask the manager for our ticket, since our waitress stopped serving us. We're done with Chili's and have vowed to eat local as much as possible. read more

Came once before and they messed up our entire order. It took them 45 mins to fix. Did not leave too unhappy so didn't leave a bad review. Came back 3 weeks later, server was pushing us to order before we where even seated. Not only that but her attitude was poor and degrading. It was a horrible experience form the start so after receiving out menus we decided to leave and go to the local Applebee's. Where the service and food was hands down 100% better. Love Chili's. Recently used them to help cater a party. Food was very good and made my life so much easier. I was able to enjoy the party.

Just had the most outstanding customer service experience at this location. The waitress was attentive and prompt. When our margarita flatbread took longer than normal she notified a manager and let us know they were on top of it and would have it out ASAP. The manager then came and brought us chips to snack on while he waited. Did I mention that they also gave us the flatbread free of charge. Even the cook came out to make sure it tasted great after we received it. This is customer service. And on top of it the food was delicious. The team they have is amazing and attentive and really striving to care about their customers. We didn't mind the extra wait at all, but they went above and beyond once they realized the food was going to be delayed. We will be back to this location again in the future! read more
