I usually never make comments on wedsite such as Yelp. However, this evening I decided that it had merit. NOT ALL LOCATIONS ARE EQUALLY GOOD!!! Working in Boynton Beach I enjoy a Mushroom Swiss Cheese Burger time to time. After a long day of running errands, cleaning and doing laundry on my only day off. I thought I would treat myself to one of those delicious Mushroom Swiss Burgers with no Mayonnaise, because I have chucky blue cheese on it instead. So I ordered one from the Chili's on Federal Hwy in Pompano. I pull into parking space "6". I followed the instructions on the text messages to do to "Check In". I was notified that I checked in and someone would be bringing my Meal sortly. After 10 minutes of waiting in my car. I decided to go in. I was greeted lacking a smile or eye contact "Your Name?" While stating my name, the IPod like was placed in front of me with out a word. Being a repeat client in Boynton Beach. I knew what to do. I completed the transaction without a tip. Upon arriving home within 10 minutes, sitting down to enjoy a Juicy Mushroom Swiss burger with my homemade bleu Chesse. I discovered that there was lot of mayonnaise on a soggy bun. The burger was cold and the French Fries were also cold & soggy. I'm getting extremely over the lack of Pleasant Customer Service and decent food in the general area of east Deerfield Beach. Not only has Chili's fallen drastically short of Mediocre quality. I like to add Starbucks in pompano near the mall and chipotle in Deerfield beach just north of 10th to list of inferior service and food that I've experience just the opposite in other locations. I tend to believe it's the demographics. Just in general the customer service & quality of product in the Deerfield Beach area has been slim to none. However tonight it was the last straw. Crazy I've been ordering online for a long time from Chili's. Always the same order, baby back ribs. Just learning now . . . I noticed on my last 2 deliveries that my "FULL" rack was only 8 bones. I called the restaurant and asked. Yup, their FULL rack is only 8 bones!!! BTW Everyone, a full rack is 12 BONES. I don't understand. NO WHERE do I see it on the menu it saying you're only getting 2/3 rack. HOW DO YOU SELL A 1/2 RACK IF A 1/2 RACK IS 6 BONES BUT YOU'RE FULL RACK IS 8 ????? Let's wrap this up..... So for every 2 racks I've been ordering from you, you've basically stolen from me OVER 1/2 rack. It's also nice that you have different menu prices for same item depending on if you're picking up or having delivered; that, in addition to all the other delivery fees. Addendum: Looks to me like they upped their game since my last visit, so I had to revise the rating up. Good on you guys for fixing what was broken. Addendum to addendum: Looks like I was wrong. Chili's is understaffed. Still a good lunch value but a terrible dining experience. Do not go here for lunch if you're on the clock. It took over 90 minutes to get out of there. The hostess wiped down the table and seat with a wet (not damp) without drying it. We had no napkins for half the meal. The waitress was friendly but really bad at taking care of us because of the staffing issues. She was hardly around. And the food had sat for awhile before we got it. It tasted just okay. Here's the thing: I can see the staff is working their tails off. I was asking myself how I'd be faring in their place. This Chili's is like a movie you see as a teen that you really loved, but when you watch it again with family as an adult, the movie is dated and unsatisfying, and it's just nostalgia that's been bringing me back. We had the 2/25 and 3 for 10, as there were 3 of us. This Chili's looks like any other and the staff was really pleasant although it took quite a while before anyone greeted us at the door at all. They have a curved wall that overlooks the street so the tables there are on angles and a little bit close together for my taste. The food was fine, but the Cajun pasta a little dry. The chicken crispers came out drowned in a puddle of sauce but my teens thought that they were good. We ordered the triple play appetizer (as featured) we didn't change anything. That was pretty good and came with several little cups of ranch and one blue cheese dressing. I tried the hot boneless wings and liked them. The cookie skillet cake free with the 2/25 and we shared it but couldn't finish it. It was really good and very filled with chocolate chips and magic shell and caramel sauce. The girl seemed annoyed when I asked if she could wipe the bench seats off (which she did, sort of). The seats, tables, window sills, floors were all gross! My drink came and the glass was dirty - inside and out. We ended up asking for our food to just be packed to go before it even came out because we were so grossed out by the filth. My family and I have been going to this Chili's for a very long time and I have to say it is still going good even during these hard times of Covid-19 and the staff are all cooperating with all the CDC guidelines, all the staff wear their masks properly and they are all great about this! The service is good, the food comes out at a pretty reasonable time and if there is any inconvenience the staff are great about it. Our severs tonight was Matt, he is an AMAZING guy he is always super nice and is great to talk to, me and my family ask if we can sit there and if we can't the other staff are great to. The bar is open and you are social distanced. This place is highly recommend. Final thoughts, 4.8 out of 5. I love the original chicken crispers. They used to have really good pitas and I'd get the chicken Cesar salad on it but they haven't had that for some time now. I've been going here for years. You're always going to have ups and downs at Chilis. I don't know why this location is so low. Sad. Try something else if you don't like what you got. Dang. On the lower end of the spectrum in terms of chain restaurants. Chili's is bad when it comes to food. Most of everything here tastes like it comes out of a frozen bag and warmed up in the microwave. Take the Trio Fajitas for example; Chicken was totally bland, flavorless, and dry. The Shrimp was edible, but nothing more. The grilled steak is decent, but nothing amazing. Portion size of this is very small, and not appetizing. Actually, nothing here I saw actually looked good, it just all looked like processed crap. Pricing wasn't too high, but not exactly a bargain either, especially considering the quality of the food. It didn't seem like the menu had many value deals. Our waitress was actually extremely nice. She was a bit slow, however the place was crowded and it seemed she was quite busy. Atmosphere is pretty standard for a Chili's, and it's not very big inside. The one stand out quality for me was these machines they have at each table, which you can order from and even pay your bill. We paid our bill from it flawlessly and even used a coupon. Those machines are the way of the future for restaurants, so it was nice to see them using it, and it working well. Look, it's a standard chain restaurant. Don't come here and expect anything fantastic. If you do decide to come here, expect what you'd get at a low end chain, because that's all that this place has to offer. Ahhhh...... Chilis. Not sure how we ended up here, but I still maintain that it's the best of the family friendly chains in this price range. It doesn't seem fair to give it less than 4 stars. Chilis was just being Chilis. The chips were hot fresh and salty. My mango chili chicken tasted exactly you like it should and is a good option for under 500 calories. I asked my guy how his bacon burger was... he looked at it with a surprised expression, shrugged, and proclaimed "it's actually pretty good!" Very sad that with the thriving Pandemic, attention to detail is absent! We ordered lunch at work. I ordered shrimp fajita lunch. Requested corn tortillas, rec'd raw flour tortillas. Peppers, not cut up. Guac, beans cups put in with food! Someone's hand (gloves, or not??)put them in with food. No utensils to eat with or napkins. Large bags of chips. How with a pandemic, can we eat this without sticking a hand in the bag??? I have ordered personally twice and complained about missing, not correct order. DONE!! Upon entry we were greeted by an employee and we wanted to sit in the bar area (wrong choice) and the tables big enough for more than two people were dirty. There was one person in the bar area working and one customer by themselves at the bar. We sat down but no menus were given to us and we were sitting there for about 5 to 8 minutes with no menu until I got up and got the menu our selves. After seeing that we got the menus ourselves we were greeted by our waiter who took our drinks. He brought our drinks and took our food order but still no straws or silverware was given until we had to ask for it after some of the food came. The food was low quality such as the beef in the nachos were cooked but did not taste good and the triple dipper was ok other than the meat in the sliders. The strawberry lemonade tasted old and watered down. The waiter was not very attentive towards us and we were constantly waiting for him to check on us and he only focused on the one customer sitting at the bar, while also being on his phone. The hostess we saw eating while at the bar and put her food under a table in between customers that wanted to be seated. A mediocre restaurant id like to say. We went for a nice dinner out with family and we sat down right away. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Some of our appetizers came out with out meals which didnt make sense cause you know theyre appetizers so we kinda didnt want the appetizer anymore but we just kept quite. I love a few items at chilis so I come back. This specific location is super slow especially at lunch time. Do not come here for a lunch break unless u plan to take the food to go and ordered ahead. It always takes FOREVER! Often there are issues with the payment system and you have to wait for them to reboot it. That takes another 15mins. Whether they are busy or not they take their sweet time. The best recommendation I can give, don't go! This rates a solid one on the FEH scale. This chain is not what it once was. Nothing but nothing was good here except the waitress. After we were seated amiable, the charming young lady who is from Puerto Rico read us with a happy smile and was very welcoming, we proceeded to order and qualified for free chips with salsa. The salsa was watery, and the fries were stale, hardly a welcoming appetizer. I ordered ribs with street corn, a bowl of chili, Mexican rolls, and my typical drink of water. There's nothing I can say positive about any of the food that I had, the ribs were terrible, the chili which is supposed to be their staple item tasted more like somebody stepped on it with their shoes and poured sauce over it, the ribs were horrible ,the french fries were mushy like they've been sitting around for a while, The street corn again was awful, the Mexican rolls? Well, mama told me not to talk that way. I would say that in defense of the restaurant, most restaurants in the area were closed because of the hurricane Dorian threat to South Florida. My girlfriend and I have been served by almost everyone in the restaurant including the new manager! The tall individual with the dreads always takes care of us and he's awesome. So today being my sisters first time out in 5 years due to illness . We came here for a bite . It was 3 o'clock in the afternoon. My sister not allowed to have specific items told this the the waiter . Her salad had spicy Santa Fe mix on it . Trying to get his attention was ridiculous. We finally asked a host for help . They took back her salad we waited 15 minutes. Started it all from scratch . Did he come back to check nope . Asked the host for more dressing . Besides all this when packing her food to go the little dressing cups leaked all over her box . Asked for more help only to wait another 15 minutes for a new salad .The restaurant was so chaotic . By far the worst Chilis I have ever been to in my life. I have been a Chilis fan and regular for more then 15 years. However, I will never be coming back to this location and am extremely dissatisfied in the customer service here and how they treat their customers. I was accused of calling a server a "cunt" and aggressively approached by her boyfriend who is a bartender at the location. The manager of the location acknowledged and apologized that I never said a word to the server. Unfortunately, the false accusations ruined my experience at this location and are completely unacceptable. Both employees should face consequences for their actions. My margharita flatbread tasted like fake pesto on bad sweaty jack...not a good combo. The spinach queso was a small serving with a thimble-full of brown guac plopped on top. Really, this is the lowest level out of the Bennigan's universe. We were trying to figure out how this level stays in business as a franchise (vs. TGIFs, Applebees, Outback, Olive Garden, Hoolihans, TCF, Houstons and the like) and though they all have drawbacks, this is the worst...Denny's (you know, the scrapings off the bottom of Friendly's foot) would be better. read more

I always go to this location because it's across the street from our house. We went recently with our family for lunch. There were 10 of us and the waitress got our drink orders. She was very organized and quick. Didn't have to wait long for drinks. I ordered a smothered chicken burrito. I was great! Surprisingly .. I usually never like anything at Chilli's. Sat us down and we notice the table was wet, seats were wet, and not clean. Obviously (on our own) we decided to change tables - my menu was dripping - disgusting. Why I gave 3 start instead of 2 after this? Because the waitress tried to be more attentive after that, and the food was good. I had the Smoking Big Bites (sliders) and really liked them. They come with fires and a bit of onion rings and a side or jalapeno ranch dressing. No need for ketchup, mustard, or anything else. Big enough that I couldn't finish it all even when I wanted to. They also have 2 for 1 drinks. The other thing that I liked is that they've partnered with St. Jude, so you can donate, on your tab to them, and depending on how much you give they have some gifts for you (like for $5 donation you get a key that home depot will cut for you for free).
