Big mistake, came on my lunch break with coworkers and they were extremely unprepared or untrained properly to handle the lunch crowd.

Today's food was worse than Mc Donalds. Some reason the fries were just as bad also.tasted like they were made yesterday. All soggy. Yuck. We got there at around 1120 am so I know the cooks weren't overloaded so there was no reason for anything to be bad. We have been going to this chilis ever since it opened. we stopped going every week to just once in a while. Meaning hardly ever anymore. The food and the service has gone down hill also. There aren't as many people going there anymore. What's bad is. There aren't many places to eat around our area so I guess chilis gets its business from that. Otherwise people wouldn't go. There wasn't a manager in site so we had to pay for our food even if we took only a couple of bites. We went to another hamburger joint instead. read more

Very nice and always happy hostesses, Very clean and cheery atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Waiters always introduce themselves, and have a smile. They make you feel right at home and very comfortable. When it comes to the menu, they know it like the back of their hands. We never feel left out, constantly checking to see how we are doing, if we need refills, more food. The hostess had an attitude, the process of assigning a table is veeeeery slow and more than 4 tables were available. I had to ask a waitress to se if I could sit down at least since my kids were getting tired of standing up after 20mins specially if we had been looking at an empty table for the past 15mins. I had an excellent time at this restaurant. Since the time we were seated everyone was so accomadating. I order a bacon burger with bacon on the side. Unfortunately my order came out incorrect. Awful is being way too generous! Poor service, awful food and a bartender that can't make a decent drink. The restaurant was mostly empty but we had to stand up front 10 minutes to wait for a host to seat us. That should've been a clue that it was not going to be our night. We get seated and wait another 10 minutes before the manager walks over and takes our drink order. The margarita was bad......words can't describe how bad it tasted. And my prime rib fajitas? Well my daughter stated it looked like dog food. Honestly, it didn't taste much better. Oh, and the service never did improve, even though there was no one in the restaurant . I don't understand why people go to these places. Its chain-mex if you ask me, there isn't anything authentic about it. Probably my least favorite restaurant thats actually close to where I used to live. I used to spend many o' nights here after work hours because co-workers would drag me here, but you wouldn't catch me in there on my own accord. Poor service, long waits if its dinner hours. So I'm giving this a ONE.. came in on December 5th at 9ish. should've read the reviews beforehand at this certain location. It all started when we first came in, the little lady, the hostess totally dissed us for seating her skin colored people first I mean even the guy being seated stared at me cause they were being seated first, while the manager or who ever he was left to get menus. My dad at that point wanted to leave, but I told him its ok he just went to get more menus. So we sat down our waiter came quickly and got our drink orders ANOTHER down fall.. we ordered 2 coffees and 1 sweet tea.. THAT COFFEE THOUGH!! DO THEY WARM IT UP IN THE FREAKING MICROWAVE? Be aware that our waiter had told us it'll be a while because he had to brew it.. paaahhh!! I could literally put my finger in there and it'd came out ice cold! Womp, womp! My mom literally gagged on it, my dad forcefully drinked it. The tea was good though, yea sure. So after our drinks we waited about 20 min for our food, my dads order came wrong he wanted a double cheese with onion rings got literally the total opposite, my moms steak salad tasted like liver, and my sliders.. blaah! I really hope your cooks get paid 9 an hour! And thats being nice. You see I'm a cook aswell, and for that type of food man oh man, I'd pay my them 7. If i want chili's i always go to this location as the service is always great, my last visit was the best service ive had in a restaurant in a long time, Sean was helpful, pleasant, and responsive,... little details of having the kitchen mix my side of brocolli with my cajun pasta.. and assisting us in coming up with a comprimise that pleased my 7 yr old that wanted a giant hamburger.. that pleased his stomach and my wallet.. the drinks were made correctly and were delicious, my wifes only coment is how on the picture it showed the drink with alot of berries in it and hers had like 4.. but the pasta was amazing he even remembered my extra sauce on the side.. my wife had some fish that she enjoyed, with mashed potatoes which she ordered gravy on the side .. it came out without gravy but no side but he quickly fixed that , later we asked for a side of ranch.. something we do alot .. true test of service you would be amazed how many times it never comes... he brought it right away.. after our meal my wife asked for to go boxes and ranch togo.. after bringing all the items he asked if we needed a bag which was helpful.. waited a little while for him to come grab the check.. but it was an amazing experience for the whole family and we will definately return read more

I hate to only give it 1 star because our waiter was pretty good, my main complaint is the kitchen staff. We had a party of 6 and 3 orders were wrong. I ordered a steak medium came back well done. I was scared to send it back so I ate it. The best part of my dinner was a house salad, all the other food was such low quality. Steak taste like it came from a discount sale at family dollar, cheese poppers tasted stale the wings were extremely greasy I could go on but what's the use. Oh I will admit the kids pizza looked ok and the kids ate it. Since I am from the area it's always been said if you want good food you must go to the North or to Mesquite restaurant row area I am beginning to feel that the old saying was right. I ate at this restaurant late in the evening with some family. They were not very busy but our service was absolutely horrible. Our experience there lasted almost 2 hours. My uncle ordered the filet and out come a long thin "steak" (it looked more like uncut fajita meat). Our waitress never came back to check in on us & it took forever just to flag down somebody. The manager didn't seam to care and was making excuses but he did end up not charging us for the meal. We didn't order a replacement dish because it took so long the first time. We are most definitely not going back - we always have bad experiences there (slow service) but this one pushed us over the edge. read more

My friends and I used to eat here at least three or four times a month at lunch. It seems their lunch business has decreased, but the service has gotten worse. It takes forever to get your food, and they frequently get your order wrong because they don't write it down. I might go again after work sometime, but they're too slow at lunch. read more

This place is sometimes crowded so if it's crowded don't stay because it takes a long time to get served. But come in the day when there's nobody, you get quick service and food it's delicious. The reason I gave this restaurant 3 stars was because of the waiting time when it's packed. Especially on nights like Saturday. Anyways some servers here are fast but some forget you even exist. So, my family and I usually come to this Chili's all the time. Service is usually ok. I brought my daughter's and step-daughter to have desert and a snack. We walked in about 4:30 and there was no one up front. We waited a few minutes, then finally someone sat us. It wasn't busy at all. There were only two other tables with patrons. Finally after about 15/20 minutes. Another server that was on his way out came and asked us if we had been helped. He ended up taking our drink order, bring it to us and then taking our order. The waitress assigned to us brought or Skillet Queso out. She wasn't paying attention and spilled the hot queso on my step daughter's hand! Thank goodness it wasn't scorching hot!! She then asked her if we wanted her to clean up what she spilled....uh..yes...please do. Why ask? Just clean it. She brought us out a new one. Then we didn't see her again. Another server brought our the rest of our order. Then we see our assigned waitress whispering to another server, who passes our table giving us a dirty look. At this point, we haven't complained once. We may have looked a little annoyed while we were waiting. But we were still nice. The responsible thing for her to do was to tell a manager what she had done, and for a manager to come and ask if my step- daughter was ok. No one from management came over to us. So I'm not sure if they were aware. We didn't ask for a manager, because we just wanted to finish our food and leave. Maybe she was having a bad day...Not sure if we'll be back to this location any time soon. read more

Usually decent food but tonight's phone in to go order was a nightmare. Food sat there for 15 minutes in plane sight as I waited for it. Got home and steak was so under cooked I had to cook it. Every single thing we got was ice cold. We think the to go staff was new. When I go into a Chili's I do not expect a gourmet meal served by three waiters. What I do expect is decent service in a timely manner. I got none of that on my last two visits. I went with my nephew and niece after a basketball game. There were only eight of us. We were seated and it started off normal enough. We asked for three separate tickets. The waiter looked confused immediately. The place was about 3/4 full but it took over 10 minutes to get our drinks. Food was brought out unevenly. Some of us did not get apps until after the main. Some had to wait 10 minutes after the first person was served. Oh yeah it took 45 minutes to get the first person food. We asked one manager to help the obvious new waiter and he barely responded. Finally after numerous complaints and mistakes the main manager came and gave us 50% off. These problems are training problems. read more

I will never return to a Chili's or Brinker International owned restaurant again. I ordered one of the steaks with the Broccoli and mash potatoes. The server informed me they were out of broccoli. I asked if they could substitute the asparagus since they were out of broccoli. He told me there would be a uncharge of $1.00 but they had green beans in place of the broccoli. I was fine with the green beans, however I wanted 2 green vegetables instead of the potatoes. They have no other green vegetable other than the green beans and the asparagus. They manager came over and told me the up-charge for the asparagus could not be waived and no one else has had a problem paying the additional charge. I was completely taken back by her comment. The $1.00 was not the problem, it was her comment and her not being accommodating at all and the principal of it. I ended up leaving without ordering anything. read more

Had never in my life had this happened to me anywhere. It was my second time at that location and the first one was pleasant but third second time left me in awe. First off the manager sat us down and got very upset when my oldest son grabbed another extra play thing off the table. I was trying to get my girls seated and didn't see when grabbed one but as soon as she saw he she yelled at him and put her hand up telling him to wait and put it down where he got it. I was a little embarrassed and just thought ok let this one slide. She asked how many extra ones I needed and told her just one. She brought one and never saw her again or never even met our waitress. I saw two passing by checking on their tables but not one looked our way or said anything. Needless to say we walked out after 20 minutes of no one coming over to ask for our drink or food order. I got the mangers name and she was just standing there with her arm leaning on something without even apologizing. Will for sure be calling corporate as well.
