Went to Chili's new store on Preston in Parker the food was excellent. Best cheeseburger I've had in a long time.

Though Chili's does enjoy a decent reputation for food, it has never enjoyed or even aspired to creating a great reputation for service. This location doesn't help Chili's already poor history of lousy service. Today, we waited for about 15 minutes as a number of employees ran around the dining area. There seemed to be no one in charge and though the restaurant was not busy at all, we waited and waited for someone to recognize they had a customer: us. We were given plenty of "looks" as we patiently waited for someone to acknowledge us and at least let us know they knew we were wanting a table. A server came near and mumbled something about getting tables cleared and ready and left...never to be met again. We finally decided that, though we like Chili's, the reputation for lousy service is still in effect and we left. I don't think any of the servers were disappointed that we did. This attitude of providing ho-hum service is endemic to Chili's; and we've been to many in different states. And this is just part of the service problem with Chili's. Once ordered, on many, many occasions, it took an extraordinary time for the food to arrive. How the owners of this chain do not perceive this lack of service as problem to the chain, I don't know. read more

We have been disappointed here before, but really wanted some southwest egg rolls! After convincing the boyfriend to give it one more try we go to Chili's. We get there, walk in to a fairly quiet restaurant and are told that there will be a 15 minute wait- that's fine, no problem. We step outside since there is no longer seating inside to wait and a family of four walks in and gets seated immediately! I ask why and was told that they can't seat 2 at a four top. Then you won't be seating me at all. I will not wait while others are seated ahead of me. Never ever had any issues at Chilis except this location! We will not be back! read more

Wish I could rate the food but unfortunately our server gave us water and then forgot about us. He walked around and other servers also looked at our table. We were sitting down for about 20 minutes and no one had taken our order still. Even the host stand was left unattended and we watched a family just stand at the door for about 10 minutes before someone eventually greeted them and sat them. The girl at pick up said she checked it but that's obviously untrue. i ordered shrimp (like the ticket says) but mistakes happen there so i was going to just eat it and then i look to find there was also no dressing included in the order so I choked this thing back dry. read more

My wife and I stopped in and were seated quickly, waiter came over quickly and took our drink and food order. So to be clear this isn't a service issue. what happens next is, well, a shame. we pull our utensils out of the little bags they are in and both sets of silverware are dirty, it happens, so we request new sets of utensils. the new sets were worse than the previous which included large pieces of food stuck to the knife. while we are looking at the utensils our food arrived. quickly i may add. i ordered the margarita chicken and my wife the southwest chicken salad. my plate was dirty, not the dirty like it was close to the grill and had stuff splattered on it, dirty like it wasn't washed with soap and water. my wife's dish was the same. so its not a fluke. but lets forget all this and try to focus on the dish itself. the chicken was hot and the beans were cold. how does that work? you're cooking the chicken, and you setup the plate with the beans getting it ready for the chicken. how can the beans be cold? so we mentioned to a manager that our second set of utensils were also dirty she said let me get you another set. i said don't bother, then she walks away... uhhhh ok so for this and the other reasons mentioned we didn't eat our dishes and paid and left. your mileage may vary... read more

On a recent visit to this chilis I ordered a burger...medium...it came out burned on one side (of course the placed that side down to try to hide it) and so well done it was gray. I asked for it to be replaced, twenty minutes pass and they return with an almost rare burger. Fast forward to tonight...ordered same thing.... burger came out raw... able scrape the raw meat from the inside of the barely seared edges... Im sorry. Chilis is famous for thier burgers....why can they not cook them properly... When I asked to speak to the manager, (which I really shouldn't have had to do * she should have come over immediately) the manager trainee came by... and said the manager was busy in the kitchen and would be out in a moment. Made some excuse about new kitchen staff...!.? how do you hire a kitchen staff that can't time a burger..???? 10 minutes passed... nothing... finally the manager trainee came back... saying the manager was too busy to come out.... if the manager is so busy why is she not checking orders.... Our order was takeout and we placed the order online. It was scheduled to be ready at 8:06 and it was not ready until nearly 8:30. The purpose of picking it up was because we didn't want to be away from home for too long due to an elderly parent. The pick up area was a joke. I'm 58 years old and I now know what discrimination is. My wife and I walked in about 10 PM on. Saturday night and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. That should have been our first clue , I'm used to chilis being packed on Saturday evening. The 2 bar tenders never even made contact with us the whole time we were there. Someone walked out of the kitchen BS omg and texting on his phone and they turned their backs and bullshitted with him but couldn't at least acknowledged we were there or that they would get to us. Chili's has a great-looking menu, but the taste is a different story. The complementary salsa and chips were the best part of my meal. The worst chillis I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of them. The host claimed she couldn't sit us for 20 minutes even though there were 20+ tables open. When I asked why, she said because she didn't want to overwhelm the servers. Before writing this review, I went to Chili's website to leave my comments. Chili's responded a few days later with a canned email response asking for my check number or last four digits of my credit card number so they could research my complaint further. However, as I did not actually stay to eat (I will explain below) and I noted this in my comments I received the following response: "Thank you once again for your interest in Chili's. We appreciate your comments. It is feedback that enables us to improve the quality of service that our customers have come to expect from Chili's. Please know that your original comments were taken very seriously and will be addressed accordingly by our executive and restaurant-level management teams. We hope that you will continue to visit Chili's. It will be our pleasure to serve you." I think it's important to share what occurred as I really do not feel like Chili's values my feedback, so here it is: My boyfriend and I decided to visit the Casa Linda location on Friday, 2/19/16 close to 9pm, we were craving chicken tenders. I downloaded the Chili's app and used the "get in line" feature since it said there was a 15-20 minute wait. When we arrived at the location, it was obvious that the hostess was not at her stand, nor was she paying attention to the app so I used the "get out of line" feature. She was a bit brash when 'welcoming' us and we soon came to figure it out she was incredibly unprofessional, abrasive and downright rude. She treated the customers around her like they were her best friends and mocked them when they didn't comply or understand her 'kindness'. It felt like we had to be on a candid camera show, she was out of control. When it was our turn to be seated, she grabbed the menus and screamed 'let's move'. My boyfriend and I were stunned by this and we sat shocked as she repeated this twice more (increasing her voice each time) and then finally charged at my boyfriend aggressively as if she was going to punch him. My boyfriend, who spent many years as a waiter calmly said "may I recommend saying something like 'your table is ready, instead'?". She rolled her eyes at him and mumbled under he breath. We were seated in a small booth near the kitchen/to go area and waited as waiter after waiter passed by us- 10 minutes total. We heard the couple sitting next to us wonder where their waiter had disappeared to. We left, without ordering. Yes, we could have spoken to the manager (who we did see walking about) but I did not want (nor do I want) anything in return. Unfortunately, it seemed like the manager could have cared less judging by her demeanor that evening and, truth be told, I was just so incredibly hungry that I wanted to get out of there. read more

Lousy service, queso tasted old and was barely warm, sent it back. Ordered a burger, way over cooked, fries tasted as though they were cooked in old oil. My dining mate ordered soup and salad. Salad was very anemic and looked like it was poured from the bottom of the bag. Not fresh at all her potato soup was not soup but resembled something used to put wallpaper on the wall. Overall experience was very bad, chili's is off the dining list. Used to be a favorite but no more. If a restaurant is open don't blame covid19 for your issues. Chili's: It's a Chain Restaurant™ This slowly became a family default over two years. You knew what to expect. We could call in our order and the person actually recognized us by name or order. Not any more. Now "18 minutes" to get there and pick it up is "18 minutes + another half an hour of awkward standing around in a small space with 8 other guys with hungry families waiting on them." I ordered a well whiskey shot and it took 10 minutes to get that. My girlfriend ordered the sliders and found a hair in it. And then I ordered a beer and it took another 10 minutes just to get me a beer. Mind you we were sitting in the bar area. My mom and I were having a girls day out on the Friday of Mother's Day weekend. We were out shopping and decided to grab lunch. It was after 1pm and it wasn't busy at all. We were sat right away. Our server was great. We ordered table made guacamole with salsa to start. We didn't want the chips because we brought carrot chips to eat with our guac and salsa. The server was so thoughtful on not bringing out the regular chips for us. As our meal, we order fish tacos without the fish and and cheese. The server suggested veggie tacos so we didn't have to pay for meat we weren't eating. She said the chef could make that for us. (It totally helped they weren't busy, but not other Chilis has EVER offered this. I've been ordering this for two years.) sure enough on the check we were charged for a veggie quesadilla. :) We were sharing the entree since we had an appetizer and side salads. The entree came already split on our own plates and the chef was so nice and threw in an extra taco! I was really blown away!!! I told our server to tell him how awesome and thankful we were. THE WORST SERVICE AND FOOD I HAVE EVEr HAD!! Our waiter to begin with introduced herself and said her and "ken" we're going to be our servers for the day... ken didn't help one bit! She came by 1 time to refill our drinks. I had only water and my grandparents has softe drinks. We got one refill thru our entire meal. our food was horrible. We ordered crispy shrimp tacos, burger bites and ribs. The burger bites seemed like all they did was reheat the meat and serve it on a hot plate. Our plates were hotter than our food. We waited for our food for a good 30 minutes, just for it to be served cold. Our waitress only busted one time to ask how our food was and processes to help the other tables and laugh with them. Kim Paris (Pauis) snatched the receipt to write her name, gave me a wrong Corporate number (Roy 817-357-0464) as the corporate number for complaints(that had no greeting and went straight to who knows who's voicemail). I looked up the real number online. My order was supposed to be curb side pick up, paid with a 20% tip. I texted 'here' when I arrived and waited..20 minutes. Someone came to my window and asked me if someone helped me. I told him I was waiting for my food. Another 10 minutes so I go in. My food is not under heat but sitting on table, by itself, marked paid. Kim (whatever her name is) proceeded to give the cold food. I asked why it wasn't brought out and she tried to hand it to me again. I asked for a refund, Corporate number and name. She proceeded to advise could not process my refund now because she was too busy! She did have time to print out a receipt though(she wasn't going to provide one, originally). Same person and waited last time too, went in then also. Gave Chili's another try much to my huge disappointment! I had no intention of reviewing a chili's...everyone knows them and what they offer. This location is in my neighborhood and is extremely convenient, but over the last year the quality has gone down substantially. They took our favorite items off the menu, raised the prices and decreased the portions. At 9:15pm I called in an order for carry out, the connection was bad so the young lady who answered the phone said "I can't handle this" and put me on hold indefinitely...and that was after the phone had rung for 2 minutes before anyone even answered. I finally got tired of sitting on hold and drove up there. Now, all of this may have been excused if the to go person had been busy, but when I got there, there were NO other to go orders on the line and the restaurant was not busy at all.
