Dined at chili's on Sunday for the first time. There was a 20 minute wait which I didn't mind. Not sure if they allow people to use their outdoor seating but no one sat outside. Ordered a triple dipper with original crispers, honey chipotle crispers and sliders. Chicken quesadilla and Asian zing wings. Typical American bar food. It was really good. I love ranch a lot so i asked for extra and our server was glad to give me extra. Definitely satisfied my hunger. During the meantime when the food was being cooked, there is a tablet your party can use to connect to your phone to play games. Makes time go by faster. Also you can pay for the bill on the tablet without needing to wait for a worker which is convenient. Our server was super nice and sweet! Food was good. Good portion and the chicken crispers we had in our triple dipper were crunchy and juicy. Soup was a bit salty for my taste, but my boyfriend enjoyed it. Our waitress was friendly and attentive despite it being a busy night. The glass window and table we were seated at did have a few spots that could have been better cleaned. But we understand with it being busy they may not have been able to clean up as throughly. Not a big deal we just asked for more napkins and had wipes on hand to give everything a quick wipe down. My wife hadn't eaten here since 2010, sadly, it'll be that long, before we try again. I ordered Steak/Chicken fajitas, my wife got a quesadilla salad. Although restaurant wasn't busy, took at least 15 minutes to get our food. They arrived in pieces and mine was shrimp vs steak, so sent it back. While waiting for my redo (no rush?), we examined the salad. It was full of limp, soggy, dark green leafs. My fajitas finally showed up and of course the steak was way overdone. The server bragged about giving me "extra" chicken, which looked liked it was microwaved vs grilled. No spice, no salsa, not worth the money! Server was apologetic, but unable to make things happen or fix correctly. Someone has told them it's ok to be overly friendly, and act like your buddy vs an attentive, respectful waiter. My first Chili's experience ever! So I took my medicine before coking here though & so far t'was a pleasant experience. Came here for dinner since it's one of the closest restaurants from our hotel staycation. It's in Kapolei Marketplace so lots of available parking, cha-ching! We were greeted upon entering and it took us 15mins. to finally get seated. FOOD: Mozzarella Marinara - kinda big for me though (lol) but anyway t'was good! It comes with 3pcs. and served piping hot. I only ate one but t'was enough for me to enjoy it. Crispy and toasty in every bite and inside is creamy & the saltiness is just right! The marinara sauce on its side is perfect dipping sauce choice and was seasoned perfectly! Cajun Chicken Pasta - has a good kick on it coz of the cajun. It was creamy and deliciously seasoned. Pasta is cooked just right. Couldn't complain anything tbh, and the spiciness level is manageable for my tummy. Caesar Salad - just okay for me. Not my favorite on that evening. I just don't appreciate salad having cheese on the top. Dressing is on its mediocrity. Service was not that fast and the kitchen was very busy (full house at that time). Ambiance is very Westernized. Typical bar/resto that you can ever have. Love the light though. Shoutout to Weston our friendly and efficient server. It was quite a busy evening and he did a great job attending his customers. We came in with 12 people and had a SEAMLESS dinner! This is not what we expected at Chilis. No offense to Chilis, but we expected something small, but nothing went wrong. Food was out in 10 minutes, drinks were always full, and server, Raquel, was amazing! Even the lighting was perfect and the music wasn't toWe had a great time and were out in 1.5 hours. Extremely disappointed. We haven't been to Chili's in years and tonight was a huge fail. We originally planned on going to Gens but ended up here. The wait to be seated wasn't bad. The overall service was okay although an order was missed. The food though was not worth the $200+ that was spent. My oldest who loves meat got the half rack of ribs which she took one bite and was done saying it tastes weird. The chicken strips came out stringy and bland. Corn on the Cob was rubbery. Fried Mozzarella tasted like we ate fried salt dipped in sauce. Egg rolls used to be good but now it was like one of those put in the microwave and serve falling apart.. Unacceptable. My younger children didn't even like their kids meals chicken pasta and pizza but ate it because they were hungry & this was dinner. First time trying the Cajun Pasta with shrimp and added garlic & mushrooms per waitress asking if I wanted to add them in or not. Couldn't taste any garlic and the texture of the penne was disappointing. It was super starchy and a lot of them were clumped together despite there being Alfredo sauce. I don't think I've ever had pasta noodles overcooked like this before from any eatery. I don't know if overcooked is even the right word to use... maybe not enough water when cooking? After a movie at the local theatre we dropped by Chilis for dinner. Months back we went there and we're not very pleased with the food. However this time it was much better. Husband ordered the hamburger with mushrooms with fries. He said his burger was very good but the fries were Luke warm. We came on a Tuesday night and got seated immediately. We usually come here for their triple dipper appetizer. Definitely enough of food to be an entree substitute. Our server Quinten was super friendly and took our order. First we showed Quinten the check in coupon to get free salsa and chips. We ordered the usual triple dipper ($18.99) and choose the southwestern egg rolls, big mouth bites and honey chipotle chicken crispers. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger ($16.99) which is one of my favorite burgers to order here. The salsa and chips came out first. The chips are hot and fresh. The dip is tasty and goes quick. Luckily there is unlimited refills! The burger and the triple dipper came shortly after. The burger was a pretty good size with plenty of mushrooms. The Swiss cheese was freshly melted and stretched after every bite. The egg rolls were so good and went well with the ranch sauce. The chicken crispers already have a name for themselves but yes, they were crispy, juicy and delicious! Overall, a great experience. Good food, ambiance is nice for both the dine in section and the bar section. Service was great and we were taken great care of. read more

Went to Chili's out in Kapolei with a male companion on a Wednesday night for dinner. We went straight to the bar. Waited a few minutes before the female bartender handed us couple menus to look over. My companion ordered drinks as well as the mozzarella cheese sticks plus chicken wings. One order chicken wings was done buffalo style while the second order wings was done with the honey chipotle glaze. While waiting for the appetizers...we ended playing the trivia game $2.99 unlimited play time. The appetizers finally arrive...the mozzarella cheese was cut thicker than what I pictured (darn it I forgot to take a picture of it) and it was good. I decided to eat the honey chipotle chicken wings and it was finger licking good. Also ordered the chips and salsa which was free with the Yelp check in. I was still hungry so I ordered a half rack of the barbecued baby back ribs. Male companion ordered the half rack dry rub baby back ribs. The sides were cold slaw and French fries. Once the baby back ribs and sides arrived...I had asked the bartender for a plate. I transferred the barbecued baby back ribs to the plate. I started to cut the rib meat and it fell off the bone. The ribs was good but dry and yes I even licked my fingers after eating the ribs. Whatever food that we could not finish...we ended up asking for a box and taking it home. Basically the leftover chips and salsa, the dry rub baby back ribs plus fries, and a couple pieces of buffalo wings. For a Wednesday night Chili's was pretty busy with customers. I noticed a lot of the table booths were filled with customers. Sooo- we usually go to Chilli's if we see one since they closed most of them down in Oregon. We've been to this location before and have had good experiences, which is why we came back tonight. Standing in the kitchen watching the cooks, and waiting for food to appear. The hostess got our drinks, and a manager stopped by and asked if we would like more chips. We said yes and thanked her. But she never came back, and no more chips. Finally our food came. It was hit and miss. The shrimp tacos were OK. The pasta was good, the burger was good. The quesadilla was ok. The nachos were soggy, like wilted floppy new york pizza. The southwest egg rolls were burnt and had a rancid taste. Worst ones I've ever had. Guess what? No one asked. Our server stopped for a second asked how things were, turned and left before we could respond. I had to yell for a drink refill and he waved. I did get it. My order was to go! Normally I would not have any issues but" spending 70 bucks for lunch your expectation is high or al least set to decent standards. My ribs is dry and I asked for the bbq sauce on the side it's smothered and ribs are still dry! Salmon was small and warm only. When they served it it is hot and savory. I watch them closed the lid of my food and packaged it right away then drove to my work only five minutes there is no reason for it to be warm or any unsatisfactory quality. Called them cause I care enough maybe it that they haven't made sure it's a good quality when given to customers. Malik was the manager I spoke to and offered me take of us on next visit. Chilis Kapolei has been my go to place for quick meals to pick up on my way home from work. For some reason the app has not been available for "pick up" or curbside orders. I stopped in and placed an order at the bar, had a drink while I waited. When I told the bartender that I wanted to pay with a gift certificate he seemed annoyed and said "I'll have to get a manager". A few minutes went by, then a manager came and asked for my gift certificate, I handed him my phone, thanked him for his help, He punched it into the computer and walked away without another word. I always order the party platter chips and salsa, which has historically been $10... it is now $18.99!!!! WTH. I understand that we pay more in HI, but a $9 increase on a $10 item is ridiculous. Add in the fact that the Kapolei store no longer honors their own "rewards" = this customer will find another go to restaurant. November 11,2022 - Friday (Veteran's Day) Showed up for dinner around 8ish and when we arrived the wait time was about 30mins when we checked in. But we only waited for 10-mins & then received a text message letting us know our table was ready. We were seated on the bar side area at the main high table top that can seat big parties. Since we're just a party of 3 we just took one side of that table. OUR ORDER: Guacamole w/Salsa & Chips - had a reward for free chips + salsa so we only paid $4 just for the Guac Caesar Salad - side order Trio Platter- Big Mouth Bites x2 & Southwest Egg rolls Mushroom Burger w/Broccoli - since they got rid of their Garlic Aioli sauce it's an "ok" burger. They replaced the sauce with just Mayo Spicy Chicken Sandwich w/curly fries- very saucey just how we like it Blue Lagoon - Blue raspberry w/sprite (located on the keiki menu section Strawberry Lemonade Waters all around in the to-go cups because they ran out of cups since it's being washed. That's how you know how busy they was on this night. Food was good as always. Server was busy taking care of about 5-6 tables as once. She was able to get our order out quickly and we just enjoyed our meal & paid then asked for to-go boxes since we didn't finish our meal.
