We walked in and waited to be seated, and multiple staff members clearly saw us standing there--but no one acknowledged us or even said a quick "we'll be right with you." We stood there long enough to feel completely ignored before eventually leaving. I understand places get busy, but basic acknowledgment goes a long way. My family and I visited this week, and everything was excellent, from the food to the outstanding service from Danya and her trainee, When we first arrived, my dad's blood sugar had dropped, and within seconds of being seated, Danya came over to introduce herself. We asked if she could bring some orange juice to help him, and she immediately sprang into action without hesitation. She came back quickly, made sure he drank some, gave us a few minutes, and then returned to check on him again. Her kindness, quick thinking, and genuine care truly stood out and meant so much to us. We always enjoy eating at Chili's in Kerrville, TX. They have great drinks, great BURGERS and the 3 or me deal is unbeatable. The service is great, as well as the ambiance. The only thing I would say is about their appetizers. They don't have enough of them, they don't change them out in a timely manner and there aren't many appetizers for two. read more

What made the experience truly bizarre was that multiple staff members looked me directly in the eye, acknowledged I was standing there, and then simply kept walking. His name is Christopher and I would recommend asking for his section if you're lucky enough to get him. We like Chili's back home, but have been trying to experience local and new places. Tonight we just felt like being somewhere familiar so we stopped in here. The customer next to me at the bar asked if we had been there before and we explained that we were out of towners. She said well, you're in luck! Erica is the best bartender ever, she makes the best drinks! She was disappointed when 3 of us ordered a beer, but I assured her that mom would order a mixed drink and mom did agree that it was really good. The bar had just filled up extremely quickly but our food came out super quick and was good. The last ten or so times I've ordered here without fail, the to go order has been missing items. Entire sides, sauces, drinks and more. I called the manager to politely inform him that there is a quality control issue and his response was to put the burden on me. "Whenever I go out, I always check the food." Ok that's nice. I got off a long shift at a restaurant, drove an hour home and wanted my order accurate for once. My responsibility in this arrangement is to pay for my food; theirs is to make sure the order is accurate. I didn't ask for a refund or anything, just wanted to give him a heads up. Worse experience ever. First the waitress was rude. Then, I ordered water and a margarita, the water taste like dirt (literally), my margarita had a gnat in it. I asked for a reg margarita instead and they brought back a different one which winded up having a piece of idk what in it. The appetizers had a hair in the ranch right on top the boneless were frozen cold. The bone in wings were horrible and not edible. Then they removed the survey so we're couldn't rate them. In all my years dining out, I've requested to speak to a manager - maybe twice - today included. This was a sorry experience. We walked in on Sunday about 12:30p; the hostess was taking names and telling people it would be about 15 minutes. It was only my girlfriend and I, and we saw an open table in the bar area. We asked about the open table (all other parties had several people), told the hostess we didn't mind the bar area, and were ultimately told we could sit there after she disappeared for a short while. Server came over, we ordered drinks and chips with ranch. A few minutes later, we ordered: a triple dipper (appetizer) and a grilled chicken salad. 35 minutes later (yes, you read that right), not only had our waitress failed to check on us AT ALL, but we still didn't have our food. While waiting, we witnessed: Someone get up from their table and literally walk into the kitchen to get/ask for something they needed; People sitting at the bar for 1/3 the time we'd been sitting get their food in an appropriate amount of time; and A completed dish sit in the kitchen, for over 10 minutes, before a server picked it up and carried it out. When our food finally found its way to our table, it was the SADDEST looking grilled chicken salad I've ever seen, the boneless buffalo wings were practically cold, and the sliders were disgusting looking. NOTHING about those two dishes took 35 minutes. When we requested the manager; it took her so long to come to our table we almost just walked. When she did finally arrive, I gave her two choices: 1. Box the food to go, and we weren't paying for it; or 2. We'd just leave - without the food - and not pay. Either way - we weren't paying. My girlfriend took the chicken off the sad looking salad (leaving the gross lettuce in the to-go container on the table), and I boxed my meal, and we left. Food was both undercooked & overcooked don't know how that happened ¿ Didn't eat any of my food. I order a Tito's spiked lemonade took two sips and sent it back tasted full of mix and no alcohol. Service was amazing at least! We spent $75 on terrible food & the whole time we were there I kid you not the cooks were literally SCREAMING like 10 year olds. The Hill Country weather is beautiful today. Although there were empty tables outside the hostess wouldn't seat us. I pointed out that more than half the tables outside were empty, she still refused to seat us. We were shown to a table inside. It was the darkest corner of the place. I asked for a window table, and she offered us the table with on side blocked by a wall! I pointed to the next table and said, we'll take that one. The same hostess immediately seated another couple outside. I'm fuming right now. I got the 3 for $10 deal which was a good deal and it came with a drink, an appetizer, and an entree. I got potato soup and the Cajun pasta for a total of $10. Potato was salty and good, the Cajun pasta lacked flavor and only tasted like Cajun spices. Waitress was okay, but didn't check on us a lot. Maybe she was new. The restaurant was surprisingly crowded at the time though. I suppose it is one of the better restaurants in the area. read more

The worse experience at this location. The service was terrible. This location was not busy at lunch, maybe 6 tables total during our visit. The appetizer was cold upon delivery to the table. We sent it back and when it was returned, it was lukewarm at best. The hostess was nice but not visually appealing to greet customers. She was actively flirting with another male employee and laughing as both weren't doing other things pertaining to their jobs. Another employee came out of the kitchen and sat at a table looking at his phone, in the bar area the entire time we were dining, about 75 mins. I ordered bottomless soup and salad however I was charged for chips and salsa. I thought that use to come along with the bottomless soup/salad? Regardless, I didn't eat my salad as it wasn't pleasant. I had one bowl of soup. The waiter never asked if I'd like another bowl. We we're a birthday party of 20 people and the restaurant was not busy. We had a waitress who did let us know she was new and might be a little slower then others, which was understandable. Our food came out wrong, we were missing items, some people in our party didn't get their entire order. The restaurant was out of multiple items. I can't blame it on the waitress 100%. I seriously felt that between the waitress and the kitchen nobody had a clue as to what was going on. I wouldn't even give them a one star but had to to write the review. My husband and I went to Kerrville Chili's to have a late lunch. We walked in and waited about 3 minutes before asked how many. My husband stated two and we wanted to eat outside on their patio, as we saw others outside eating, not their workers either. The man told us there's no seating outside, no one to work it, we asked then why are others, he said there was no seating outside. So we left. Due to COVID, we try and be cautious and would think restaurants would like the business, we wanted to eat outside. We have eaten there before, but not now. My wife and I went last night for the last time, do not understand how a chain restaurant that used to be pretty good serve such low quality food not prepared right! Salsa was like water, corn on the cob was mush , steak had no flavor(probably the tenderizer) chips so thin you couldn't dip the guacamole without it breaking. We have been dining at Chili's for over two decades and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. We always have the Skillet Queso. Today the Queso was brown water with what appeared to be meat in it. I can only assume it was the manager on duty that came to the table and informed me that this watery soup being passed off as Queso is how Chili's has always served their Queso and that this is how it is supposed to be. She also informed me that the thick cheesy Queso we have enjoyed in the past was a result of it being old and sitting in the pot for an extended period of time. I have to say that it is very disconcerting to know that Chili's has been feeding people old Queso and that cheese is not supposed to be thick but rather watery. The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because it is impossible to give 0 even though they deserve -5. read more

I was hesitant going to this store afyer reading reviews, but were hungry as we've been driving for past 12hours, I thought I wpuld give it a chance. I joined the waitlist thru Yelp when we were 15mins away. When we came, they said it'll be 30mins so I mentioned about Yelp booking and they said 10-15mins. It was not even 10mins when I got the text that our table is ready. Our server was very nice, friendly and very attentive. The service is EXTREMELY slow!!! We got to the restaurant at 12:20 and by 1:00 we still didn't have our food. It took over 40 minutes to get a burger and some chicken crispers. There is only one bartender during the lunch rush and that bartender takes about 6 tables in addition to the bar. This would be fine if the bartender was actually able to provide adequate service.
