I'd rate this a 3.5, but rounding up because the food was decent overall. BEEF FRIED RICE: Lots of wok hei and good flavor! They actually mince the beef, which I have never seen before but it makes so much more sense because the meat was seasoned well and each bite would likely have protein scooped with it. CHICKEN CHOW MEIN: Also had wok hei, however the ratio of veggies to noodles was disappointing. Otherwise, this would have been a winner too. SALT AND PEPPER FISH: The portion was a little smaller than we're used to from other establishments and a little over fried, but still not too bad. DRY SAUTEED STRING BEANS: I can't put my finger on the flavor, might be a little bit of Szechuan pepper as well as minced pork, but it was a nice change from regular garlic. Husband liked this a lot. Their food is a tad oily, but their flavors are good overall. We ordered for takeout and they were friendly upon pickup. Will return when we're in the area and craving Chinese.

This has been my go-to Chinese spot in Milpitas. The food is consistently excellent, and the restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating and ample parking. I usually place my orders by phone, and they're always punctual never had any issues. My favorite dishes are the broccoli with garlic and the shrimp fried with eggs. Highly recommend!

Good Chinese food in Milpitas! My party of four was promptly seated by the friendly waitress, and we didn't wait long for our food. The food came out great, with shareable portions. We'd especially recommend the mongolian beef and ma po tofu. 100% coming back to this spot!

I continue to order from here.... Imperial spare ribs: bomb Scallops and minced meat in steamed egg: bomb Chicken with sizzling Rice soup: bomb Golden egg yolk scallops: just ok Shanghai sweet sour spareribs: bomb Coffee ribs: bomb Honestly there's not many authentic Chinese places where you can get 3 items and have it land $30-40 including seafood. The food is tasty and value can't be beat

Disappointment with the small portion of the honey walnut shrimp that was ordered. The fried vermicelli is missing as well as only 3 pieces of walnut were found. The price of this dish is $16.95 and it's not worth it with what's presented.

Excellent Claypot rice with salted fish & meat patty. Best in South Bay. The lotus Chinese cucumber veggie dish was above average. Prices are extremely reasonable. It's a family run restaurant with very friendly wait staffs.

I know it's cheap but this is really the worst chow fun I ever have in my life, it has no taste and the noodles just sad.

Delicious food that is very decently priced! Definitely a place you should try or order take out from. It's a small little shop next to Smart and Final and Golds gym. The workers are friendly and helpful. Come support this local spot!

As for food, $30 for three entrees, plus a container of rice and soup? Unbeatable prices! Good flavors, can't tell if there's MSG or not but I didn't feel like they use it or much of it, since it's not noticeable with my usual symptoms after msg consumption. (Not feeling tired nor thirsty). Portions her is a little smaller compared to other places. But you get what you pay. As for service, I won't even rate it... Put it that way, I'm happy with my take out food orders. Parking is easy and food is ready in a timely manner each time. Will keep coming when need something fast to go.

The Chinese sausage pieces sprinkled throughout added extra flavor too. The bowl is deep so there seemed to be roughly 5 cups of rice. Unfortunately the laksa shrimp fried rice was disappointing in comparison. It didn't have much flavor overall - better than plain rice but definitely needed more seasoning. The menu lists homemade laksa sauce as an ingredient but we didn't taste that, and the dish wasn't spicy at all either despite the 1 chili pepper rating. But it looked just like the menu picture so maybe the description is wrong. Fried chicken with tom yum sauce came with 6 pieces. Very juicy. We also enjoyed the herbal roasted prime steak with sausage rice. The delicious rice had the taste of fish sauce. Most of the short rib slices were soft and a few were slightly chewy but overall decent quality. Some of the fattier pieces of meat were still attached to the bone.

I came here on a Friday evening with my friend to grab dinner around 6:00 PM. The wait was around an hour, so be very prepared if you're coming during the dinner rush. This spot is located where the majority of the Asian restaurants are in Milpitas, so it's safe to say the parking can get a bit hectic and intense. The interior of the place is very bright, modern, and clean. There is a lot of seating for a small space, but the reason they are so busy has a lot to do with the number of people wanting to check this spot out. When you sit down, you scan their virtual menu via QR code and order there instead of through a server. You have the choice to order on one phone as a group or separately. Between my friend and me, we ordered a beef mint salad, fried tofu, confit mushrooms, and truffle mushroom rice. I will say that when we first got the fried tofu and confit mushrooms, we were quite surprised by the small portions compared to the price. That said, they were delicious, but skippable if you're trying to find the best bang for your buck. What I absolutely would recommend is their truffle mushroom fried rice. This might have been my best bite this month. It was so savory, the mushrooms hit perfectly, and the coating of butter on the rice was supreme. It was $28 for a bowl, but it was a good value to split between two people. Overall, this place had great, fast service (our food came out in under 10 minutes), a nice ambiance, and fresh, flavorful food.

It is in the same plaza as the popular porridge place and New China Tofu (where they used to sell Stinky tofu - but that is for a different story). The place is roomy and clean, the service was decent, friendly enough but we had to ask for sharing bowls and spoons. The order is the usual QR code so you order online, but pay offline. They have plenty of selection, but since it was just the 2 of us, and based on the name, noodles should be must orders. We had a soupy version (hot and sour fish) and a dry version (spicy ground pork), with a side order of cold appetizer (shredded tofu skin salad). The cold appetizer was a bit salty, but the overall flavor was pretty good. We added more chili oil that is available on the table. There was a wait between the appetizer and the next dish, we finished the appetizer before the first noodle arrived. Hot & Hour Fish - we selected the hand-cut noodles. The noodles were thick with just the right amount of chewiness. The broth was amazing with just enough kick, not too spicy. The fish was tender and the tofu was wonderful. The only "veggie" was the pickled/perserved mustard greens. We really enjoyed this one. Dry/Stir spicy noodles with ground pork - we selected the thick flat noodles for this. The presentation was beautiful and we could smell the chili powder and it was wonderful. A bit oily, which i understand as we need the oil to get the sauce mixed and noodles do not all stick together. The kick for this dish is actually less than the fish noodles, and not too salty, which was great after the salty appetizer and the strong flavor of the fish noodles. We did not finish and had to bring them back home. And we know we will be back!
