Food is decent, but they definitely overload with Fried Rice and Chow Mein. Your sides are super small, and if you want BBQ Pork will be prepared to get like 6 pieces . If you like your plate to be overloaded with Chow Mein to the point that your sides are super Small then this is the place for you. read more

Honestly, the food is good, not out of this world but good. All of these hole in the wall Chinese food places are very similar. The orange chicken is on point and the prices are great. The best part of this place is lady who works the counter! So kind and generous, my card didn't work one time and I didn't have cash. Instead of taking the food and making me leave empty handed she told me to take the food and just come back and pay another time. Worst food in the area i drive 1 min home and my every item is cold, they loaded up the plate with rice and noodles and give me one piece of meat with my broccoli and beef one piece of meat i cant make this up my wife was so mad. The spicy chicken gave me all peppers no chicken 10 peppers 3 pieces of tiny chicken. The portion size is so small for orange chicken the staple i had to get two orders. And when i go to serve my kid 2 mins later he says its cold food!!! And the egg rolls cant even bite through because they are so cold. Flavorful and large portions. They don't skimp like the large chains and their orange chicken is not spicy like some other places so my kids love it. I would always try to get the items that are freshly made. They usually ask me if I want to wait a few minutes for the fresh stuff if the items in the tray are a bit old. I have been driving by this place everyday to and from work. Was at a red and so happened to look over. Been looking for a Chinese food place since the one by staterbros closed. Let me tell you guys, if you haven't tried this hidden gem then today should be the day! Food was fresh and DELICIOUS. I got combo C with orange chicken bbq pork and egg rolls. And my daughter got noodles with beef and broccoli. All of the food was so fresh. This is definitely going to be my new spot. This is my go to place for good Chinese food. The food is always delicious. And their boba drinks are amazing. I love their mango slush. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Came here with my mom and sister for a quick lunch. We got a 3 item combo with fried rice and chow mein. All the food was fresh and delicious! The portions were huge. We also ordered thai tea boba and jasmine tea boba was AMAZING. I know sometimes the teas sit out and taste weird at other places but here it tasted fresh brewed. Definitely will be back here. Opened over a week ago in the small plaza on La Mirada/Mulberry in Whittier is a fast food chinese restaurant (formerly a donut shop) in the corner next to the liquor store. I drove by it often waiting to see it finished so I could try them out since usually I will go to Panda/Wok Express or other spots nearby my area,so you can imagine my excitement much like Jon B living so close to this place. So on a Saturday drive I ended up seeing the big sign on the building saying "GRAND OPENING" and so I decided to pull in and see what the full was all about..as I was ready to walk in I also had noticed a small advertisement for being new saying "buy any 2 item entree and get free thai tea"..well that can be such a nice gesture to welcome themselves to this community, well..I was wrong about that and Ill explain later. As I entered the empty restaurant, there seems to be a mother/son team that work together. Food is your basic run of the mill chinese food from orange chicken(spicy too)/bbq pork/beef&broc/etc. Nothing too fancy to set itself apart from other places but it wouldve been nice that the meals in the trays were labeled on the glass to identify what was what other than just being listed on the menu with no pictures. I proceeded to order two 2 item combos. one being the two orange chickens and ordered another bbq pork/orange combo and proceeded to check out. Once I was given the bill I asked them for the "free" thai tea that was listed outside and the gentleman said "that was for only one day when we opened"..I questioned it in my mind that you have a grand opening and advertise something that was only good for one day, then maybe you should remove the banner so you dont give people the impression something is free when it isnt. Anyways got home and tried it out..and I cant say Im impressed or blown away by what they offered, not to mention everything didnt seem to have any spice or flavor to break itself apart, like the chicken except the spicy one which just had peppers thrown into the mix. The bbq pork was absolutely terrible and was chewy and bland and I would NOT recommend reheating this stuff for the next day as it loses much of whatever flavor or sauce it originally had the first time. The only good thing about the food is that the portion sizes for the chicken are huge and and I mean BIG. I could say I got more chicken ratio than Ive ever had at Panda and those guys sure love to screw you over on portions for the price you pay. They also do bobas and shakes but I didnt bother to try as I was only there for the food aspect. They also have sushi but apparently its not ready yet (why list something you dont even have ready to sell?) Like Jon B said, I will give them one more try in 30 days and if they dont change it up and make an effort to do better or Ill just stick to what I like and know and avoid this place all together. I wouldn't be surprised if this place survives past 6 months to a year if this pattern continues. read more

It just opened like 3 days ago and are still working some things out. Clean and service is friendly. The food isn't bad, but I'm not in a hurry to come back based on flavors and choices. I decided to try my favorites and was not pleasantly surprised but neither too disappointed. It was just about what I expected. This place, for now, is your average fast food Chinese restaurant and would be a viable option to grab something quick to eat. I ordered sweet and sour chicken , when the lady was packing it I asked is that sweet and sour chicken she said yes ,i asked where are the bell peppers and onions and pineapple she said inside. I get home i discovered she lied she gave me orange chicken and just drizzled a little sweet and sour sauce and heated it up in the wok.. i took it back and the lady was pissed and gave me a new order. I get home and its the same she just added bellpeppers and onion, then I decided to try my hot and sour soup ,horrible it was like vomit in a bowl . Just got a combo of chow mein, rice and orange chicken. Do me a favor and never go here. I wanted to give it a chance since I moved very nearby but this place has disgusting food. I couldn't finish more than a few bites, as orange chicken is crusty and horrible. To be fair, half of it was over cooked, purple and old, the other have was pink inside. I literally feel myself getting sick writing this now. The rice and chow mein is tasteless and terrible as well. I just spent $9.55 here and it's like I threw away money in the trash. I also got a egg roll but no thanks, I've lost my appetite. Go to Panda Express and spend a few dollars more for food that is at the very least bearable.
