One of the best Chinese express food spots in Los Angeles! The staff was very friendly and patient with me as it was my first time and they have plenty of great options. I got the house special with pork and shrimp, a side of orange chicken and a mango/ passion fruit green tea. Their food is made to order which is always a plus. I will definitely be coming again to try their other options.

A small Chinese fast food restaurant in a corner with a small steam table to choose from. First of all, they are very generous with the amount of food they give you. Secondly, every food I got was very delicious and tasted freshly made this morning. Orange chicken was crunchy and large cut of juicy chicken - not a thick flour coating at all. Beef were sliced thick, tender and flavorful. The chow mien - soooooo good! And the best part- employee so friendly and the price is great!

It was my first time trying this place and it was really good! The orange chicken was my favorite as the chicken was really fresh and the noodles were so rich in flavor as well! The service was also really good, the lady in front of me took forever ordering and the guy in the back saw and immediately came to take my order quickly! The only reason this is a 4 star is because some of the other items were out, but other than that really great place I recommend!

First time here and I'm very impressed super nice workers and clean. The food is hot and delicious. I will definitely be back to try everything else. The house chicken is awesome.

This spot is pretty good. I just moved in the area and was looking for some good Chinese food that wasn't in LA from what I'm used to. I got the house special fried rice and I love it. Only cost about 16 dollars.

Plate full of rice on the bottom of my 2 sides.. he just gave me a little bit of chow mein.. which was supposed to be half n half..

I used to love this spot, but I haven't gone in a year, maybe.. and just isn't the same. I asked for a 2 item combo.. the teriyaki chicken was mainly fat and I asked for half n half.. I got a plate full of fried rice.

(See attached picture). This restaurant is in such an obscure location, I can't believe I was going to a Burrito Track across the street for so many years not knowing this place existed. Friendly staff and prompt service. The unfortunate negative is it's location and I'm referring to parking. There must be 8 business crammed into this lot. With a bar to the right and a laudermat on its left finding a parking spot is like winning the lotto. Now layer in one driveway and you have to make a 3 point turn just to navigate to leave. The short answer is I will absolutely go back to this place as long as there is a parking space to be had.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.

The charred cheese paired with the grilled meat creates a lot of flavor and gives the burger a unique twist. Unfortunately, the overwhelming saltiness completely overshadowed everything else for me. That said, there were several things I did enjoy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated the variety of drink options. The Strawberry Watermelon drink was my favorite. I also liked that they offer multiple dipping sauces for both the fries and burgers. My husband absolutely loved the fries and couldn't get enough of the chipotle sauce. I personally preferred the garlic aioli, and the creamy jalapeño sauce was surprisingly delicious as well--though a little too spicy for me to enjoy more than a taste. Despite my issue with the seasoning, I wouldn't write this place off. I think the burger could be really good with less salt, so we'll probably give it another try and ask if they can go lighter on the seasoning next time.

I went on a taco run yesterday to try to find the best taco in Whittier…read more Started off the run with a keto taco mixed with asada and al pastor and then a regular tripa taco. Keto taco - toasted/grilled cheese instead of a regular tortilla - needed to be done a little more on one side as the cheese wasn't quite toasty enough to stay in place to slightly resemble the shape of a taco. Bit hard to eat, covered my hands in grease. Asada tastes almost boiled, and this being my 2nd or 3rd time getting the Asada here, it consistently tastes like it was boiled and not grilled. Unsure of meat quality or preparation, but there are no grill marks and it's a bit chewy. Same with the al pastor. Tripa taco was bizarre. Strips of flat skin instead of the usual roundish, cylindrical shape of tripa (intestine). Usually a saltier, fattier meat than asada, which is my preference but the one here was lacking in flavor and the texture threw me off a bit. Tripa can be chewy - unless requested extra done, which is how I normally order it - but there was no saving this tripa. I think it needs to be sliced differently, the cuts made it inedible. Brother shared some of his chorizo taco and it was the better of the bunch. Red chorizo, TJ style, although it was also lacking a teeny bit in flavor... onions and cilantro to the rescue! Still, mediocre. Salsas were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think the tortillas were homemade. Service was fine, cashier takes your order, dude at the counter was chill and had a friendly attitude. Seating was limited. Mostly bar style seating but the majority was in front of a window and it had so much heat trapped from the glass that it was kind of uncomfortable. Other seats are too close to the bathroom. Good for a quick bite or just pick-up orders. Wouldn't plan a sit down/dine-in visit. Parking is scarce and has really small spots, wouldn't come if you're driving a pick-up truck or anything like that. Food was reasonably priced, which is good, however; the food was lacking so I would not return.
