I've heard so much about Chobani and although I never really liked their packaged yogurts, I decided to give this one a try, I mean, since its fresh it should taste different right? Upon looking at their menu and pictures on Yelp prior to visiting the store, many of the sweet ones sounded so good but what caught my taste buds were the savory ones. I have always preferred savory over sweet so looking at the menu I found one creation that was literally everything I love in a cup. The mango avocado with cilantro, jalapeno, olive oil, lime juice and sea salt served with a side of blue tortilla chips. After I took the first bite, I was actually slightly disappointed because although the yogurt definitely tasted way fresher than the packaged ones and the mangoes were sweet, the whole thing was a little bland and not all that savory. There was no lime juice taste or any hint of salt (although it said there was). Even the tortillas that came with it had no salt at all and just tasted like paper. The half size was a small, tiny glass bowl for $6, not sure how much the full size is. I am still interested in trying their sweet creations! So, ill be back! read more

4.5 Stars I love this place so much because the food is really good here. The staff are usually pretty nice and they can take your order right away if you're paying by card. By cash, you have to go to the register. Their flip yoghurt and regular brand yoghurt is ONLY $1, even after tax! It usually costs more than that @ other places. I've tried their Mixed Acai Bowl, Almond Rocco(I think that's the name?)flip yoghurt, the honey flip one, key lime flip, and hazelnut flip. They are honestly all good but the almond and hazelnut flip ones are my favs. The mixed acai bowl was my very 1st acai bowl ever and I'm glad I went to Chobani for it. The total came out to eight bucks and something but it was worth it! I've heard people say that you can just buy the acai yoghurt at Trader's Joe for a cheaper price and just mix in your own fruits & nuts but honestly who has the time? My friend ordered the Garden Lemonade which includes: apples, celery(I know I like flipped out), and lemonade. Now I know what you're thinking, "celery in a lemonade? That's gross, with apples too?" Let me tell you, it's truly not that bad. I took one sip and was left puzzled but wanting more @ the same time. It wasn't bad and it felt really really healthy even though I was drinking a lemonade. I stole a few more sips from my friend because it was just so interesting. Now I'm not saying you have to get it, but if you are feeling a bit like a daredevil that day, then maybe this is something you should consider ordering. See what tastes spark up your tastebuds. Since I work nearby, I come here often and it's usually packed because not only tourists come here but also everyone else that works nearby comes and hangs. The seats are pretty limited and most of the time you'll be overhearing other people's convo & touching arms with the person next to you. Hence, why I took half a star away from the rating. Every time I'm in NYC, I try my best to make time to stop by Chobani. With the remodeling, it gives the place more seating area. More seating area is perfect, since this place gets crowded and it will give you the option to eat there or take it to go. The pineapple and coconut is really refreshing on a hot summer day. I was almost tempted to get a sandwich to go but decided to not get too greedy. There's only a dollar difference between the half size and full size. I got the full size because I was starving and it was just almost enough for a meal haha. If you just want a light snack, I'm guessing the half size is enough. I've been craving for figs lately so I got the fig and walnuts flavor. All the ingredients were very fresh and tasty. The sweet seediness of the figs and crunchiness of walnuts went very well together. It's one of these things you eat and feel very good afterwards, none of that artificial sugar and processed stuff. You do get to take the glass jar for the yogurt home with you, which I think is just okay and not that cool. This cafe is super cute - it is located in the heart of SoHo and the prices reflect that. My mom and I got two lemonades that totaled a little over $7 (I have come in the past and ordered food that was also overpriced but it was good and you pay for the experience so I understood that). The window seating (low benches) is perfect for people watching and catching up with friends. This cafe makes the perfect stop during a SoHo shopping excursion. The cafe itself is not spacious so it gets a little squishy - be warned. The bathroom is also TINY - like, you and your bags will barely fit when the door is closed tiny. How cute and adorable is this store?! It was my first time coming in here to try Chobani's different choices of toppings. I tried the fig with honey which was absolutely amazing!!! The packaging of the yogurt is super cute- you get to take home the glass jar once you are done with it which is super neat. They exchange your used glass (they recycle it) to a new one so you don't carry a dirty, sticky glass. The staff was super friendly, very attentive. I'm glad there wasn't a line cause the few times I passed by the store there was a long line. I am very eager to try the other flavors - especially the peanut butter and jelly one!!! I probably will come back to try every flavor on the menu. The price is reasonable too! The bigger size is $5 or maybe $6... Can't remember and the half size is $4.
